Best customer service of any place to buy appliances in the area. The owner is wonderful and they have the best delivery people. Lowes and Home Depot can not begin to compare, especially when it comes to professional delivery people who care about your appliance and your home.

If you need appliances, dont bother with the big box stores. Go to Appliances on Lakeside. They get stock faster than the big chains, and their prices, for the last 3 appliances that I have purchased from them, have been between 100-200 bucks cheaper than the big chains. Love my new stove!

Love Lakeside Appliances! They are always pleasant and helpful. I see someone said they found a better price at a big box store. Yup - you can. BUT, when weve needed service help, Lakeside has connections for quick and competent service people. So well worth it to have someone helping you after the sale.

Needed a dishwasher that does what a dishwasher should without all the bells & whistles. After dealing with Costco for 3 months, I gave up & went to Appliances on Lakeside for help. They tried to find a replacement part that I needed for the Costco dishwasher, without success. So, now I needed a new dishwasher that actually worked. The salesman was great at not trying to upsell something that I didnt need. New dishwasher installed in less than a week. Overall, great experience!

Nice sales people and nice store but BEWARE. Before you buy anything at Lakeside, ask if they service it as well. It turns out that the Electrolux washer, which was heavily promoted by the sales person, is not serviced by them. Same with LG and Samsung products. We are therefore left at the mercy of Electrolux to repair our new washer (terrible quality) and that is a horrible experience.

EXCELLENT experience all around. We were on a crunch to get a washer and dryer and had an unpleasant experience with a big box store. In less than a day, we had a new washer and dryer installed. We will ONLY be going to Appliances on Lakeside for any future appliance needs.Special hat tip to Marvin who delivered and installed the appliances. We had a difficult setup and he worked hard to get everything up and running for us. He then took the time to show us how to operate everything and just had great enthusiasm for what he was doing.Just an incredible experience all around...

Service is the WORST! Called for a repair appointment and it took 7 days for a technician to come out. Took another 14 days for the part to come in and no one called to let us know the part had arrived. I had to call to inquire on the part. The technician came out and installed the parts on my fridge and dishwasher and did NOT check to see if the appliances were working before they left. I had to call back to have the technician to come back to only find out that the part they installed was FAULTY! Appliances still DONT WORK! what a disaster!

I could not be more satisfied with my washer purchase from Appliances on Lakeside. Everyone I dealt with was great. Because of Covid-19, the transaction was handled by phone. Everything from the order to the delivery and set up was handled with expertise, and with efficiency. Tammy and her people know what they are doing, and they do it well. Thank you.

Parts Department is outstanding! Was having issues finding a part at other places and ended up working with the team here and determined the manufacturer had discontinued my part. Paul worked with the inventories to find me a substitute part as well as looking around for the discontinued part and kept me up-to-date throughout the whole process. They won me over...if you need an applicances part, go here and find Paul!

Ive had good results at Appliances On Lakeside. About a year ago I got a good value on a refrigerator. And recently Ive gotten good advice from the parts department - first on the installation of a dishwasher I was doing for my daughter and second on the installation of a kit for the top rack of my dishwasher. The parts person said to search for the part number on YouTube. The YouTube video turned out to be very good. The only thing the parts person was wrong about was that the kit included directions.

I bought a washing machine from the store two days ago and was helped by Tammy. She was very knowledgeable and helpful and was able to sell me a never-used floor model. It was delivered and installed yesterday and the delivery/installation people were outstanding! I couldnt be more pleased.

Everything about this place is fantastic, from the sales team to the installation guys! I needed advice on my purchase and Mark did an excellent job of helping me learn about and think through the different choices. We had a difficult and complicated installation and Mark ensured that Marvin and Kevin had everything they needed to get the job done. I couldnt be more satisfied and grateful.

Weve had the best experience with Steve (technician) from Appliances on Lakeside. First of all, Steve has had almost 30 years of experience and has seen almost everything. He works with the diligence of a seasoned detective and wont stop looking until hes uncovered the source of the problem. He tells it like it is and can communicate effectively to non-technical people - which builds trust. He is kind and very conscientious of his surroundings and the needs of the customer. He was on time for both appointments and the pricing was fair. We will definitely call Lakeside (and request Steve) again for any future appliance need.

Rarely write reviews. Tammy was great. Knew products inside out. Suggested GE Cafe Profile fridge. Ours had failed and they delivered next day. Price was lowest we found. Love it! Would shop here again for sure.

I found the counter person at the parts counter to be professional and helpful. I recently needed a heating element for my Samsung dryer. The guy told me to bring the element along with thermostat so he could test them all for me and make sure I was replacing the right parts. It turned out to be just the heating element and they had it in stock so I bought it. Yes it was several dollars cheaper on Amazon but I wanted to complete the job that day so I bought it. I didn’t ask if they price matched I just assumed they wouldn’t. So price was only reason I didn’t give 5 stars. And I realize that might not be fair because brick and mortar can’t compete with online. But I definitely give the employee 5 stars.

Nice selection of appliances with friendly, knowledgeable staff. It aint like Lowes where you have to wait 20 minutes before anyone is available to help. I feel the service here will be far better.

This place has been around since I was just a kid. They used to be Lakeside Appliances. If you ever need a part thats hard to find, they can get it and in my experience, they can get it quicker than the other like place in town. I recently needed a part for an older stove....got it home and realized it was the wrong part. They took it back, no questions asked. I give em 5 stars!

Called this morning about getting our Samsung dryer repaired. The lady who answered the phone for the service department (Jenny?), just snapped that they Dont touch Samsung and when I asked if they had a recommendation for someone who did she snapped out nope. I didnt realize the shop didnt service Samsung appliances or I would not have called. My parents have been shopping here for years and were always happy with the service. After this incredibly rude interaction I have taken my business elsewhere.

Great place to do business with. Their prices are right inline with the big box stores. Their service, delivery and salespeople are definitely superior. You are treated as a valued customer. I am a repeat customer after having been an employee of Lowes, and having outrageous disasters with Home Depots appliance installation.

What a sorry parts dept. Just needed a standard 3 pin start relay. Clueless and demanded exact part #. I had the old part with 3, yes THREE part numbers. They are in a box and will not think outside of it. How they are still in business is a mystery. AMAZON free next day delivery $10.80. Guess I should have asked for Tammy.Update 05-04-2021 As usual strike out looking for a fridge defrost timer. Paul the parts mgr says there are no parts listed for a Frigidaire Compact. Said the fridge is a throw away. Can you believe a parts mgr would ever say such a thing? Once again Amazon shows beaucoup. Ordered the switch to arrive tomorrow.

I have purchased several parts here over the years. I recently purchased a replacement part for my dishwasher and immediately went home to install it. Upon opening it I found the part was cracked. I then took the part back but there were no more in stock. Paul said he could get me another part later in the day. I ended up getting the part within 3 hours or so later. Great customer service!

They offer a wide variety of parts. They had what I needed but this Dave in parts was very condescending when spoken too. Also he didnt specify that parts closed earlier than sales, rushed over after work and one day missed him by 15 mins. Called the next day and accused me of not showing up and noted I should have seen the times on their website, wasted a whole day. Next time Ill just order off Amazon.

I needed a replacement heater coil for my Samsung dryer and they had what I needed in stock. The one star review is for their pricing. I did need the part immediately and it was a Saturday, but if I could have held off until Monday for the part to arrive from Amazon I would have paid $19.50. Instead they charged $67.34 for the same part. That is quite the mark-up in my book. Double the price of Amazon I would be fine with, but more than triple the price is quite excessive.

The manager is so rude and unprofessional. Went in for a new stainless stove. Their website claims that they wont be undersold. Found a much better deal with a big box store and they refused to beat it. Dont be fooled by the their online claims. Steer clear.

Everytime I go in or call I get a condescending sales person to deal with, they have gone downhill in the last few years. I dont see how they stay in business with the way they treat their customers be it sales or parts. I will never use there services again, my suggestion is you do the same there are much better places to deal with in the Richmond area

Unprofessional, rude liars! Their parts department makes their own hours and their customer service sucks. Last week I called they said they close at 2pm but would be open regular hours this week. I did not know what regular hours are so today I called and asked what time the parts department closes was told 4pm. Get there at 2:28pm only to hear the parts department is closed. I said I called and was told 4pm. This guy says I dont know who told you that because its only us 3 here. Like I am lying! I did not point to the only lady and say her, I waited for her to speak up to apologize but she said nothing then I said I am not going to call anyone put but if its just the 3 if you, the person knows who they are and I cant believe they arent even professional enough to APOLOGIZE...No problem I ordered my part from somewhere else online and will wait the 2 days. Lakeside SUCKS

This place has been in business a long time, under a couple different names. hard to compete with big box stores I bet.The biggest benefit weve experienced is with their inventory of odd parts (clothes dryer guides, washer motors, etc..) that the big box store jjst does not have and that I needed a personal touch to help make sure that I ordered the right part for our machines.Their parts manager is a bit gruff and crusty, but he knows his stuff and will point you in the right direction. Their prices for new appliances just do not seem to match the big box prices, but last time I was there they had a good selection of lightly dented or scratched brand new appliances that were marked at an excellent price. When we need an appliance i will check that inventory first.Sales folks are super nice.. Location is small, and parking can be a bit tight. Still worth checking out whenever you have an appliance or appliance part need.

I have insurance on my washer and dryer but I still have pay for service i have 5 years on washer and dryer but they tell me the part i need for washer its over 1000 dollars so they cant fix it so they said its cheaper to buy another one im mad as hell
