I like and trust the service team at this location, but I had not been there in years as Haley on Hull St. Is much closer. My experience at this Midlothian Trnpk. location was pretty bad. First, my appointment was set weeks ago, but for some reason, it took 1 1/2 hours to do an oil change and state inspection. The good news- nothing was found on the Inspection. However, when changing my inspection sticker, he mangled my tinting pretty bad despite their already being a window for the sticker since the tint has been on there for 5 years. The cashier was on the phone with what seemed to be a personal call and after staring at her for a couple of minutes, she charged me the ridiculous amount of money for an oil change, but never stopped talking on the phone or spoke to me. The next morning, I went outside and my tire pressure light was on; sure enough, they were all at 29psi. The paperwork indicated they did a multi-point inspection, but I never received the standard form. Since tire pressure is one of the multi-point items, clearly it wasnt done. At this point, Im not even confident they really changed my oil. Maybe the place has changed since I was there last. Maybe people at this location really dont give a sh*t. Thats the way it seems.

Today I visited 8301 Midlothian Toyota service center and I felt like an outcast .my service advisor Raman Kumar was if no help I had a 730 appointment for an oil change I didnt receive my vehicle until 430 today. I asked my advisor to also check my rear brake light he told they were fine and they werent and thats a ticket able offense. Im not sure if it was the color of skin but I will never go back.

Well…looks like there is a bad pattern starting to form here as per some of the other reviews and it involves being taken advantage of! I have been taking my car to this same location after buying my car in 2015. I have felt like the prices were well done, state inspections fair, and overall good customer service. This visit, I dropped my car off for an oil change, received a call to confirm what I wanted done and pick up time, and then received another call selling me on a $300 service package. Toyota had not done this to me before. And they were telling me how they “highly recommend” I get it done. So an additional $300 later I had my oil change I went in for and some fluids drained and filled. Should have called my friend that is a mechanic first because he informed me that they pulled one over on me. I feel embarrassed that I fell for it. I will NOT be taking my car back here again. They have lost my trust.

I recently had the front brakes on my 2007 Corolla done. Brake pads and rotors were replaced, and was told at that time that the rear brakes were good when they inspected them. I went back a month later to get an oil change and when I got my inspection report back, it said that the rear drum brakes needed immediate attention. I should have been told this when they replaced the front disc brakes.

My experience has been a mixed bag. They were doing great work several years ago then something happened and the quality of the work declined. I recently tried them again for a major service on the truck and they did a good job. They had good service reps then they got some with attitudes so the feeling is a little stand-off. Will I use them again, yes.

I made an appointment for an oil change and they said I could drop off the car any time even after hours and they would get it done. When I got there they said they had not done because I didn’t check in they did not tell me I had to check in when I scheduled the appointment, they said as long as I leave the key it was fine. They did not do my oil change just made me Waste my time!!!!. The staff is so unprofessional and rude.

I really wish I could trust Haleys Certified service facility but they are just as dishonest as their new car facility on Hull St. (Please be educated on the service your vehicle needs before taking any vehicle to Haley’s service facilities on Hull St or Midlothian Tpke!)I recently took my vehicle to the Haley Certified Service dept (Midlothian Tpke) for a routine VA State Inspection as it was the 1st time taking my Toyota to an authorized Toyota facility & I figured they would tell me if there are any recalls on my Toyota that Ive owned for just under a year.I was offered a FREE state inspection which is a very generous offer but knowing the past dealings with Haleys service dept I knew they would tell me something needs addressed. Sure enough, I was told that I had dirty and low brake fluid along with my tires being feathered & I needed an alignment.Well, I recently bought the ARES brake bleeder & flushed the brake fluid in all 3 of my vehicles with ease of use & fantastic results. I also bought 4 tires about 4 months ago for my Toyota & had an alignment performed as well.So when you do the math, it’s crystal clear to see the dishonesty from either the service advisor or the technician that worked on my vehicle as my brake fluid was at the full line and crystal clear. (Seeing my after market strut bar under the hood,, the technician should have realized that I know what I’m doing so I’m guessing it was the service advisor.)I stopped taking my 2 Toyota’s to Haley at least 5+ years ago for a similar recommendation from their Hull St. service dept. (weak hood strut replacement recommendation for $400 when the hood was staying up just fine & aftermarket struts cost $22 each with less than 5 minutes to install) Pearson Honda on Hull St. has done a FANTASTIC JOB with my Toyota’s & Odyssey service and I’m happy to pay the State Inspection Fee every time because I know they’re being honest with me on what really needs serviced. The service advisor will actually show me what needs to be performed in the garage area. The peace of mind knowing that I’m not getting ripped off is well worth paying the $20 inspection fee @ Pearson or my local mechanic in Powhatan VA.Believe me, I sure wish I could trust Haley Toyota as they know Toyota’s the best & have access to Service Maintenance Bulletin’s along with up to date knowledge on Toyota vehicles. When it comes to routine maintenance & whether your vehicle really needs it or not, I just can’t trust taking my vehicles to Haley Toyota or recommending them to anyone I know.I will say “Thank You Haley Service Dept.” though for the air bag safety recall & free state inspection, but I did not feel good leaving their facility as I’ll continue to stick with my other options for non safety-recall service. (I literally had to ask if there were any recalls after being told that my vehicle needed the bogus maintenance.)

BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER! They are upfront and honest no hidden car fees and tactics. If you cant find a car that you want on their lot, they wont pressure you to buy a vehicle you are not happy with. Get with Matt in sales. SCAM SCAM SCAM BEWARE!!! Took Toyota there for service and they said it would be $1,400 to service. They stated I needed front and back brakes and other. I just had car maintenanced at another Toyota location and they said I only needed front breaks. I took car to another auto service location and they confirmed that I only needed front breaks which would cost $300!!! This is crazy and it is unbelievable that they try to lie and scam people out of money!!!

Entirely unimpressed. The Initial scheduling of the appointment went well. Unfortunately that was the only thing that went well. I dropped my vehicle off 10 minutes prior the my scheduled time at 7:50am. I was told that my truck would be ready by 5pm. At 4pm I did receive a call notifying me that they would have to pull an all nighter to finish the truck........ok. From there I was told to pick up at 8am. I arrived at the service center right on time just to be told the truck still wasn’t ready. So while I waited patiently I enjoyed the front counter service members trashing the mechanics likely a reasonable approach since they obviously are overwhelmed by a pretty medium level repair ( fuel pump replacement). I still don’t have my truck over 24 hours later. I will not be returning to this service center until new management has been put in place.

Between 7/9/20-7/11/20, I called the dealership about 15 times because there were 2 vehicles that I was interested in. Multiple promises that someone would call me back. I finally got in touch with manager Kenny. Initially, I thought he was sympathetic to the way I had been treated, but NO! On 7/11/20, I received a call from a salesperson. I was at work, so he asked me if there was a good time to call me back. He chose noon, so I set some time aside to speak with him then. Phone call never happened. I called and got manager Kenny-his attitude was non-chalant, basically telling me they were busy...in few words, walk-in customers were more important than a phone customer. WORST customer service ever from the entire team! Im glad I didnt waste my time driving there!

I had water pooling on passenger side front floorboard. Paid $99 to diagnose issue. With persistence Bob and team found that it was a crimped pinch weld along foot-rail (probably from jacking car at that spot). They drilled out crimp that allowed the sunroof drain tube to empty to the ground. No charge for the labor.Well that didn’t fix it so i brought it back. Mechanic then took off panels and found mud and debris in the pan that hold and drains the water. He cleaned it by hand and put back the panels. Fixed and still no extra charge.I could have paid hundreds somewhere else maybe being led to believe it was a leaking windshield.On top of that I got a $30 oil change that others charge me $45.And the body shop helped me locate a used part at a junk lot that will save me about $900! I am sold on this one stop shop!

They treat you right here. Rides to and from so you dont pay a taxi fee or have to phone a friend for a ride. They do push other services, but they are from the normal service schedule for your vehicle, not crazy stuff. Their waiting room is roomy and comfortable with entertainment so if you do wait for it, you are set. Vending machines are available and, if you are willing to risk crossing Midlothian on foot, there is Mi Hacienda and CookOut across the street. There is also a certified used car area so if you are in the market you can spend your time looking at a new/newer car.Edit: Quick hint on your first visit. Be sure to enter on the EAST side of the building as that is where the service center is and there is no easy way to get from West to East, you have to go back out on Midlothian to do it.Edit: Nice to see Haley monitors their reviews and feedback. Keep up the good work ladies and gentlemen.

My wife were leaving on vacation and only got a few miles when I hit a pothole on Powhite highway and knew something was damaged. So, we quickly exited and limped into Haley Toyota on Midlothian turnpike. We just have the Sienna serviced at the Haley on Hull and had never been to this one. We explained the situation and the service team went into,action. After about 30 minutes, Tony Donald the technician working on the vehicle came to the waiting room and took us into the repair area to see the damage. The pothole caused a blowout in not 1 but 2 tires on the passenger side. He said the tires (special run flat tires) were available and he ordered them and suggested the alignment be checked, which we did. The whole event cost us about $700, but this was mostly due to the tire replacement ( over $500). I dont usually write reviews but I wanted to thank Tony and the service crew for how courteously and quickly they got us Back on the road with a huge piece of mind - we were back on the road in 2.5 hours. I am convinced that Tony took us into the service area to show us the 2 blowouts as we would have probably doubted them had we not seen them with our own two eyes. We cannot begin to thank them enough, which is why I wrote this review. We truly expected a full day delay in our vacation, but were able to continue on. THANK YOU!

Allen, Rand and the sales team over there listen to what a person is looking for and do a great job finding it for that person. They also stick within budget. Service has been great and they have great service agreements for their cars, plus most of the Toyota vehicles are backed by Toyotas certified warranty. Let me start by saying this, Ive had my car almost 4 years total and out of all of these years Ive only taken my car to this service center. Down to work being done, inspections and oil changes. I recently had to take my car elsewhere due to pricing. This service center has officially crossed the line. Mind you, they are the only place where I get my car serviced but conveniently today out of all days I had two cars being serviced. Offered a $300 service package for an oil change which I declined. I then took my car to get it inspected. I was there 9/21/19 to get some work done due to issues I was having, mind you they are the service professionals. My car failed inspection due to my rack and pionion being ripped. I was told that now in my state if it is torn/ripped it would fail inspection. Another $300 expense that I was not forwarned about although I just recently had a diagnostics done 3-4 weeks ago. I call and speak with the gentleman who called me and his response was that the person who helped me during my last service SHOULD HAVE told me, although he did not. None of my paperwork has ever mentioned it to this day and 3 inspections later, it was not something that was even suggested. So now I have a car that has to be fixed, YET AGAIN per this facility. Ive spent thousands of dollars with them and once trusted their work and judgment but as of now all of that is gone. They are unprofessional, disorganized, dishonest, unempathetic, rude, and uncoordinated. I will be contacting corporate along with anyone else I can to bring this to peoples attention. I once visited and another young man walked in while I did and asked me about how I liked the place due to it being his first time being serviced there. I gave him my honest opinion and he said based on first impressions, he would probably not visit their anymore BECAUSE the staff were rude and impatient and he did not like their body language or attitudes about his visit. Had I had a chance to meet someone before going I probably would have saved myself the time and MONEY that was not well spent.

I don’t normally give one star ratings to anyone, but the Service Department at Haley Toyota on Midlothian Turnpike has been absolutely awful on so many occasions I feel obligated to warn others. I should preface by saying the only reason I’ve gone as long as I have is because of its convenient proximity to my home, but I’ll never go back. *They called ME* to book an appointment and when I got there (with no prior call or any apology) Harry Whittington told me they don’t have the staff to see my car, and have no valid reason for why I wasn’t called in the 7 hours they had been open. I’ve had them try to charge me more than they said it would cost. I’ve had them add on services to my bill that I didn’t have done. I’ve had them tell me my car would be done same day and have to leave it overnight, and then had them tell me I had to pay for a rental car when I’m already dropping $900. I’ve had them order the wrong parts for my car. I’ve had them “conveniently” not get to certain services I requested, and not tell me they weren’t done...I find out when I get my car back. At this point I’m seriously considering reporting them to BBB. I’ve spoken to the Service manager, who’s a nice guy, but clearly has no control over his unprofessional employees. I’ve been spoken to rudely. The list just goes on and on. Businesses get away with these kind of dishonest practices as long as they have patrons. But be warned: you may be overcharged, get taken advantage of, or waste your time scheduling something only to arrive and not be serviced if you go to Haley Toyota. Do yourself the favor and go somewhere else. Their Service Department sucks.

I never imagined that buying a used car could be such an enjoyable experience. The entire team at Haley Certified worked together to provide a level of customer service rarely seen today in the world of automated service. Each individual that I dealt with was pleasant,professional and knowledgeable. At another dealership I was told that I would have to pick up a detailed buy sheet and take it to my credit union and then bring back a certified check for the car. Haley handled the entire process right from their office. I was in and out with my car in under 90 minutes.

I found this dealership a lot more laid back and relaxed. They were all professional and did not pressure me into buying a vehicle I really didnt want. Sean Corbett was wonderful to work with and answered all our questions. He made the sale of the car quite easy. Rand Hargrave made all the financing easy so we were able to take the car with us in a matter of a few hours. I was completely happy to have found a car in the price range I wanted and with reasonable mileage. The car was very clean and the outside was in mint condition. We had our vehicle sent to the body shop after an accident and we went back the first time to pick it up and the paint was orange peeled looking, there were two scratches on vehicle that werent there before, there was a large run in the paint, and the bumper wasnt put back on securely, there was a broken bracket. Body Shop formen or I should same woman was very rude and was upset we pointed the run out to her and how terrible that the paint looked. They said theyd fix it. Took another week, go back to pick it up and the paint was still orange peeled looking, and bracket still wasnt fixed, and you could clearly see where they tried to sand the run out as they left scratch marks in paint. Third time we went to pick it up, adhesive from tape was still on vehicle, the woman who runs body shop said it was mold and manager said no it was adhesive and he removed it.woman continued to say it was mold and manager insisted it wasnt- and of course it wasnt! Then we noticed back glass was scratched( almost looks like they used razor blade to removed adhesive from the glass after being taped up. Lady in body shop made comment these rich people always want everything perfect and refused to fix the glass. The door and bumper still are orange peeled and look terrible, bumper is still loose and now my glass is scratched. We will pay what was owed and after three and a half weeks, the vehicle will be going to another body shop to get fixed correctly. When the general manager was called he said there wasnt much he could do about the glass and didnt say sorry for how the woman in body shop acted. When youre guys make a mistake own up to it! Horrible customer service !

Dont bother making appointments there. They will not respect customers time. I walked in the first time to get an inspection they told me it might take about 4 to 5 hours. The rep. suggested to make an appointment 4 days later early in the morning so it wont take no more then an hour to be in and out. so I agreed. The day of the appointment I came in 15 minutes earlier and then they tell me drop off the car because it will take about 4 hour. I tell him what the point of make an appointment he said because we also have to take first come first serve. so then again whats the point of making an appointment and them calling the day before to make sure you are coming if they cant stand by appointment. I hate to do business with business like that.

Asked for a car fax. Didnt get one they gave me a auto check. Said it was the same thing. Got to my bank, paid for my car fax. And found out it was in a accident and it had recalls on it. But the auto check said it had no accidents. And nothing about a recall. The sales men said he must of told me. But thats a lie.

I’m frustrated and fed up with this location, Haley Certified Pre Owned Center on Midlothian Tnpke. Appointments are not guaranteed when you make them. Was told by Harry that wait time would be a few hours because not only was the technician late but he had unfinished work from the previous day. Then I was told, “we could squeeze you in”. What? Squeeze me in? I had an appointment at a specific time. I asked if the technician would be in tomorrow and he had no Idea until the Technician arrived. How do you not know these things? I get things come up, but at least offer an sincere apology as the Assistant Service Manager. I ended up not waiting over an hour which is great, but when I asked about the second problem I was having, he looked confused as if I hadn’t mentioned it when I first came in and proceeded to tell me I needed a diagnostics for something that can be heard and seen if you just look at it. I’m not mechanic, but you can’t look at it first since the area it’s coming from is obvious and then do a diagnostics if needed? That would be understandable. Not to mention the questionable services that I was told needed to be done but had already been fixed before and apparently, since it’s not factory parts, it could be the cause (Parts from NAPA) The only reason I went back for this is because they originally diagnosed the problem. Also, In the past I’ve been told something needed to be fixed and it turned out to be something else and when those things are questioned, you get somewhat of an attitude. Customer Service could be way much better. Plus, when you call to ask something, you don’t get a thank you before hanging up just a click after you’re done talking. This happened on many occasions, specifically with Harry. Rude! No place is perfect but there’s been too many red flags. I appreciate all of the honest mechanics and shops with great customer service. I just don’t feel like this is one them unfortunately.

Talk about the worst experience ever!! We called to get an oil change and the service department would not answer. So we hit # for a different department and a lady said let check and she said sure bring it up here. That was about 2pm on a Saturday. When we arrived the big guy at the service desk said he couldnt do it until Monday. I called back to see if the lady would pick up the phone and it was he picked up. I asked to speak with the manager, he said he was the manager. He refuse to connect me to anyone else. The general manager was supposedly on vacation. He was so nonchalant, it was unacceptable. He didnt try to find out who told us to come or compensate us in any way. Really a squeeze in or coupon would have been a nice gesture. Dont go here. It was such a waste of time and gas. My cousin warned me about this place when she bought a used car that cost her so much money. Shame on me for giving the service department a chance. I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Had my car work on here quite of bit, last year I had them do a inspection on it and it passed.. Brought my car in today for a new inspection and they failed it because of my tint bar across my front windshield which they passed last year but not this year? So I got it remove and came right back for the new sticker and I notice two of my lug nuts were missing from of my wheels! A simple inspection equals brain surgery for them.

Had extensive work done on my older car. Service Advisor Raman Kumar was clear in his explanations and helped me prioritize work to be done. I was able to get a car to drive while mine was being repaired. The Tech Jamie Neely was just as helpful. Both had pleasant demeanor, a good sense of humor and total respect and understanding of the situation I was in. Appreciate them both and Haley Toyota for great service.

Haley stepped-up to find me the right pre-owned vehicle, when others said it didnt exist. Bill Simmons emailed me high resolution images of the vehicle, as well as video descriptions. Best of all, the entire transaction was handled via phone, email, and FedEx.Was it a long drive to Virginia? Certainly. Was it worth it? Beyond a shadow of a doubt. If you are in the market for a new Toyota or a used vehicle (even muscle cars!), give the folks at Haley Toyota a shout. Theyll make it worth your while.

The Service department and Body Shop are incompetent. I told them the repairs and services I needed IN DETAIL to BOTH departments. I never received a phone call as to what services they were doing. Then I call the day before I am to pick my vehicle up and ask what the total for BOTH the service and body work was, they told me $1200. I get to the service department today and all of a sudden, my total raised mysteriously to $1728. The General Manager, as incompetent and rude as he could be, didnt even try to rectify the miscalculation but instead formed a ASS certified posse to try and kick me off their property for being angry due to them price gouging me. BAD BUSINESS!!!!

Took a car in for oil change and a rattling noise. There was a miscommunication about describing the noise. They claimed it took them two mechanics to figure out a exhaust shield was loose. They charged a 100 dollars to put a couple new bolts in. I dont think it should have taken two mechanics to figure out one of the most common sources of a rattle. Felt taken for a ride.

Needed a state inspection, the mechanic loosened the brake line showed me the leak, I just changed the brakes last week. They rejected my truck got home it wasnt leaking took it back up there again and they passed it. 20.00 in gas and all day wasted! CROOKED DEALERSHIP!

My truck has a recall on it, so I took it in to get the work taken care of. While it was there I also had it inspected and wanted them to look at the squeaky belt. Well they did the recall work just fine, but then they failed the inspection and then they told me it would cost around $900 to fix. Then they told me that the belt issue would cost me $480 to fix, which they previously had quoted me for $100.I denied the service and took my truck to another locally owned shop in the city, which ended up only costing me $200 total. Haley told me that the belt tensioner was broken, when in fact it was just a pulley. And the inspection didnt fail because the other part was NOT broken.Every time Ive been to Haley I feel like they are always trying to push service on your vehicle that is not needed. I will not be going back, and my next vehicle purchase will not be through them.

The service department was absolutely horrible. I took the vehicle there to find out what was wrong with it, it was improperly diagnosed and when i did the repairs and took the car back to have the diagnosis done properly and they wanted me to pay AGAIN after they had messed up the first time. They refused to work with me and were giving me outrageous prices, and a misleading diagnosis. Not to mention the employees attitudes were completely unprofessional and uncooth. Even after speaking with a manager i was not satisfied or resolved. Will definitely not recommend this company to anyone i know, nor will they receive my business again. Maybe once they have people who value their customers i will reconsider them as an option.
