**update*They came through for me. These guys are the best when it comes to installing equipment. Never fails and always looks OE.Called and made an appointment. We agreed to leave my car on the lot Friday night for a Monday install. I left for vacation and came back a week later as we agreed. Never touched my car. However, they installed another hitch years ago and the work is top notch. This time a complete disappointment. Waiting for reply email. I’ll update this review if they come correct.

Update: After posting my review I got called and told my part has arrived and was scheduled for install the following week. Service was completed in the time I was told (2 hours) and looks good. Raising from 1 star to 3I put a deposit for a trailer hitch install on May 26th. I was told it should take 2 weeks to arrive. After 2 weeks I call and am told its going to be another week. I wait a week and then Im told that it has still not arrived but they see its scheduled to be delivered the following Tuesday or Thursday. It is now July 15th and I still have not heard anything from them. Everytime I call its vm or just being told next week. A very frustrating experience so far.

Very helpful. They dont keep anything in stock and since you have to order it you can find it cheaper elsewhere and get it delivered to your door. If installation is needed they are the way to go

After three cancelled appointments with u-haul, we gave up. Happy to report i will be doing business with truckin thunder. They said u-haul has an account with them to fix what their installers mess up. Also said the hitch u-haul sells is inferior to theirs, will corrode. Will have the parts in about 10 days. Needed that hitch to use trailer with my new car. See jason for professional service. Dont go to u-haul.

Because of a nationwide shortage of trailer hitches, I had to wait 5 months for them to call me, but they did. Good job. Have a small waiting room also, but I visited one of the many thrift stores in the area

I had a special-order ladder rack ordered and installed by this location. Matt was extremely knowledgeable about the options I had available and steered me in the right direction. Spectacular service and the truck rack is exactly what I needed.

Everything you need to outfityour truck. Matt was great to work with. They work fast and clean to get you on your way. Results are professional. Ive done a backup camera and hinged tool boxes, going back for off road lighting.

I ordered running boards and a bed cover for my Ford F150 pickup and went in to have them installed. The told me it would take one hour and thats all it took. I waited in the waiting area which was clean, comfortable and included a TV. Matt was nice and respectful when I arrived and Derek was happy to give me a lesson in how to use my new bed cover before I left.

I bought a Curt hitch for my 2015 Jeep Renegade from Amazon and did a blind google search for a certified Curt installer in the area. When I called Truckin Thunder, Derek gave me a fair quote and a fast appointment, so I happily gave them a shot. The install was just less than an hour, the service was friendly, I paid my bill and was on my way. I made it just a few miles down the road when I heard a pretty loud rattle coming from the back. I noticed the tailpipe was actually rubbing the hitch, so I called Derek again. No questions asked, he told me to bring my Renegade back in the following day and theyd see what they could do. The following day, I parked out front, went into the shop and straight to the bathroom. When I walked out, two guys were under my car right there in the parking lot, trying to correct the problem. I hadnt even checked in with anyone. Talk about prompt service. Derek talked with me about some solutions, but seemed a bit doubtful he could fix the issue. The hitch design and the cars undercarriage design just werent working well with one another. So another guy at the shop suggested calling Curts tech support. Sure enough, the hitch was a recalled design, and the tech support representative offered to send the redesigned hitch out to the shop right away, no charge. Ill be hearing from the guys next week, and have my new improved hitch reinstalled thanks to Truckin Thunders courteous service and attentiveness.

Had a roll up truck cover, bug shield and brake box installed and they did a great job. Jason was the gentleman I dealt with and he was very professional.

Had fog lights installed on my 95 land cruiser. Service was barley adequate. They took my keys as I waited, Once job was complete they handed me my keys and said have a nice day. Never did it cross thier minds to show me exactly what they done to my truck., 🤔👎

Truckin thunder in Ashland VA, did a spray on bed liner for my F150, they did an awesome job, looks great, and they did it in one day. Great price, very friendly & accommodating. I recommend them highly.

I went in looking for what I thought was gonna be a easy fix to a simple problem...the joke was on me...lol, I got schooled, but walked out with exactly what I needed plus what Im gonna need in the future, less the headache later, great place, awesome and friendly customer service too...planning on doing more business here really soon!!! 😉
