My wife and I were just passing thru we were heading to Florida from NJ and our car was making really loud rumbling noises. When the steering wheel was slightly turned it would vibrate the whole car and M&S was able to get us fixed up within a few hours and back on the road! Thank you for all your help now we can have a safe trip.

Amazing people here. Was in from out of town and had a leak in my tire. The team there quickly lifted my car and fixed my tire in my moments. I think he even wanted to not charge me but I insisted. I had my car inspected at Firestone and was told the left front wheel bearing had to be replaced. About a $500 job for them. I shopped around for a better price and M&S came in at $380. I went to pick it up the next day and Wagih said the wheel bearing didnt need to be replaced. He had the part to send back and even put it up on the lift to show me there was no play in the wheel and tire was evenly worn. He could have put that part on and made money, but hes too honest. Highly recommend.P.S. On my way to leave the same story for Firestone!

The service here is unparalleled. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. Every man working was knowledgeable, generous, and kind. I stopped by to get my engine light diagnosed. The whole crew stopped what they were doing to make sure I was well taken care of. Once diagnosed, the problem was explained to me very clearly and offered to be fixed same day without being pushy at all. Came in with an engine that wouldnt turn over and had to be jumped twice. Within like five minutes, it was diagnosed to be a bad battery and they were able to get me one ordered and it was installed/fixed up within the hour.Everything was handled professionally, intelligently, and especially kindly. The guys at M&S are professional and honest workers. They arent trying to make the most money off of you or not get your car back to 100%. They genuinely care and their services are reasonably priced. Being new to Richmond, I wasnt sure where to get my car repaired, but M&S is the place to go!

I guess they missed the fact that something as simple as spark plugs needed to be changed, after $40 and a trip to Autozone with give or take 40 minutes I figured out how to fix what they “missed”.Did a great job on the muffler however, the welds are good enough and they were prompt with what services they did accomplish. I’d say buy an OBD scanner and see if you can fix it yourself before going here.

He is Coptic Christian from Egypt and has been in the United States since 2009 and he was very hopeful for his country, but wary of the uncertainty, well deserved warriness from today’s vantage point.Last week I brought my Subaru back to Wagih to do a final oil change before I sold it back to my friend. Michael Perrone sold it to me 5 years ago when he was moving to Qatar and no longer needed a car. He recently bought a church in Vermont and decided to buy his Subaru back even with it’s 50,000 additional miles and a new collection of minor dents and scratches.Wagih changed the oil, topped the fluids and reset all the warning lights and sent me on my way. I have been bringing my vehicle here for a few years. Recently, I found myself stranded as my car battery had gone dead overnight. I live close enough that I was able to walk to the shop. Emad stopped what he was doing, gave me a lift back to my place, jumped my car, and then had a new battery put in all within hours. I also needed an oil change which he completed as well. These guys are honest. Most of the time, at other places, I feel like I’m getting ripped off. I have a high end vehicle and don’t always feel comfortable taking my car to the mechanic shop. HOWEVER, have taken my car here a few times and have always been pleased. Wagih is the gentleman that always calls me with updates on my car and he is friendly and down to earth. They are pretty quick and they have fair pricing. This last time, I had a lot of things I needed to take care of with my car such as alternator replacement, 2 new rear tires (bald), inspection and brakes. My car is running great now. This place is the best. I had a nagging issue with a Honda that my previous shop couldnt locate despite 3 visits. It was very frustrating because it was a low mileage car that should have been reliable. These guys found and fixed the issue within 48 hours and car has run flawlessly since. Repair cost was fair. They also spotted other general maintenance issues that should have been caught by others. They now get 100% of my auto business. You can take their recommendations and work to the bank.

I dont normally write reviews but the service, professionalism, and attention to detail at M&S was exceptional. I took my truck into the shop in Florida before making a two month work trip to Richmond. While driving up both the AC and windshield wiper system failed. Brought it into M&S and was immediately greeted by the guys, they were friendly and up front, just a good feeling that they were an honest place. Got it in and they took care of the repairs quick and at a good price, to top it off they offered to give it a quick check out before I depart back to Florida. First Class business.

I came in with a blown out valve stem on a Saturday morning. They were the only shop open and they were able to have me good to go in about 10 minutes. Besides the good service, what really set them apart from other shops Ive been to were the people working there. They spent time to talk to me and made me feel like I was their neighbor/friend. A few years back, I experienced some unexpected car issues, while driving through Carytown. I originally dropped off my car for the convenience of the location. I had such a positive experience, however, that ever since I moved into the city (4 years ago) I only bring my car to M & S. All of the mechanics are kind, patient and take the time to show me what issue the car is having. They invite customers to walk behind the counter, and stand under the car to see for themselves the issue. They are always great at answering my questions and dont ever charge unneccesarily. In fact, theyve offered me some incredible deals. Trust worthy.

This is a hidden gem that I don’t want to share with you all 😝 A mechanic you can trust is a special thing and Wagih and his shop are great.

I rounded a caliper bracket bolt. Spent two days using breaker bars, bolt extractors, a torch, and 2 cans of wd-40. I called around shops to see if anyone would help. M&S took the job when noone else would. In and out in 20 minutes. Excellent work, professionalism, and price fairness. They have gained two new customers for life.

I dont know anything about cars, but I know that wagih and the rest at m&s auto keep me safe on my commute. Ive been going here a few years with my old beat up CRV and they never disappoint. The prices are fair, they only charge what is necessary. They are honest, reliable, and quick hard workers. I dont trust anyone else to do repairs on my car.

If you need professional mechanic knows cars go there. I went to my dealer and they looks like confused and doesn’t know what is wrong with my car. Friend of mine recommends this shop,so I went there and he recognize the problem in 1 m. He charge me 50% of what I should pay somewhere else.

Have gone to Wagih for a few years now, with 3 different vehicles (I do not have good luck with cars). Each time I go, he gives me a quick and honest assessment of the problem and a fair price. Its the only place Ill get my car inspected from now on, and I would recommend to everyone else to do the same. You cant trust a lot of mechanics these days, but Wagih makes it easy to trust him from the start.

Friendly staff, but they do not wear masks and they smoke in the shop (which shares air with the office where people wait while their car is being fixed). These are public health issues.They also quoted $1400 for a job that is $900-$1000 according to other shops. They are not as cheap as people claim

I took my car in because my coolant car light turned on and I was worried about my car overheating. Wagih and Emad took my car in right away and looked at what was wrong. They saw that my fan wasnt running and said they would look into why. They called within the hour to tell me that it was just the fan that wasnt working and that they would have to replace it and told me the price. I know nothing about cars and the prices of things so I told them to go ahead and do what they needed to do. I looked up prices and it seems that it was a very fair price. As I said, I know nothing about cars but I expected them to need to take a couple days to fix it, but as I was telling my friends about the lovely customer service, they called to say it was ready. I cannot thank Wagih and Emad enough! They saved me weeks of hot days in my car!!

Ive been bringing my cars to M&S since I moved into this neighborhood six years ago: always extremely pleased. Now I live across town and always return with my auto needs.I can fix cars myself, and have done so for 45 years. I have worked as a machinist and an electronic technician. At one time I had issues of whom I might trust with my car; even if youre a man, some mechanics try to take advantage of you or treat you like a fool. But now I cant keep up.My faith in Wagih Sharoubim is nearly absolute. I say nearly because today he is changing my front wheel bearings at my insistence. He would have had me wait until the problem is clearly indicated. He probably would have saved me money if I hadnt insisted.For first quality work done quickly and at reasonable rates, I cannot make a stronger recommendation than M&S auto repair. The best thing about this shop is they dont take in work they are not equipped to handle. Well the best and the worst. If they wont fix my car, I have to fix it myself. But at least I know its in capable hands.

Did not leave here pleased at all. Wanted them to look into a simple problem and they would not do it unless I committed to getting work done. Said he knew what the problem was and he had not even touched the car besides with his flashlight. I have worked on all my own vehicles but no longer have a place to do that. He was simply trying to sell me on something without putting in any time or effort to look into the problem. They were the only ones in town that had time to take me in on a Saturday and now I see why.

When it comes to M & S Auto Repair on West Cary st. Official! One of the best shops in the city of Richmond. My experience with Wadigh and his Mechanics in the shop was awesome. After I left the shop I felt as if I were a high tech Mechanic. Wadigh and the guys will show you whats wrong and give a fair estimate and if you decide to get some work done these guys get it done. This is a real auto shop with a a real mechanic. Waghi, the owner, fixes things. Unlike many shop who just swap out parts until or if the problem is solved, Waghi, uses his engineering background to figure out whats wrong and then fixes it. Hes also one of the kindest, most honest people Ive met. He doesnt have all the technology, so hell refer you on if need be. Hes always my first stop and usually my last.
