I want to thank Chris and David very much for the work they did the past 2 days. My wheels got stolen off my truck and these guys worked with me getting an estimate and setting me up with with the correct fit and look for a new set of wheels in no time. I have been going here for the past 5 years and will continue to bring all my vehicles here no matter how far away I live. Richmond Tire & Auto has never steered me wrong.

First time using this establishment and definitely will use them again! Chris met me at the counter and quickly had my information and vehicle concerns written down for his crew and also personally provided a shuttle service back to my house while they worked on my truck. He is a very personable individual and conversation was effortless in the short drive to the house. Truck was ready a bit later in the day and repairs took care of the issue I had. Chris then also provided a return run back to his shop so I could pick up my vehicle.Very pleasant experience, organized office area, good waiting room, etc., but must say the customer service provided by Chris has ensured my going back for any future needs.

What a great little shop. I am not used to this level of service in the auto industry but these guys are really some of the best, from the front desk all the way into the shop. They are all personable and trustworthy and extremely considerate of your time.

We have been getting both of our vehicles serviced here for the last 3+ years since we moved this way. Chris (manager) is a great guy and has a great team. Always willing to take time to explain, provide honest feedback, and deliver fair pricing. They may not always be the cheapest but as they say you get what you pay for while their service more than makes up for it! We will continue to be loyal customers.

Very disappointed. Been coming here for years for minor service.Had to replace a battery which is unfortunate that the maker (Volkswagen) requires a battery reset to be performed that Was not available at the local auto parts ...but nonetheless received a quote while providing all of my vehicle specifics. Get the car jumped and dropped off only to get a call that the battery replacement would be an additional $150 due to the extra labor. The extra labor is removing 2 bolts from the driver seat which I already knew and would have removed myself at drop off. I would have even removed the battery myself if I would have been told prior. You knew the car specs at delivery!! I was even told they would need to cut the carpet. Which was false, there is no cut in my carpet upon pickup. Asked for them to honor original quote or meet me halfway. The best they could do $10 coupon and $10 on labor which didn’t even cover the added “shop supplies cost’. $400 for a battery. SMH.... after over 20 years of coming here I expected better.

I brought my 4runner here for an alignment job and an oil change but i left with a tie rod dripping power-steering fluid, the car never leaked anything before that alignment job! this isnt the sad part, the alignment isnt even fully fixed the car still pulls to the left.. I bring it back to them and they want a $1000 to fix the leaking..Now my question is if it was leaking before i brought it, why didnt you point that out when you did the alignment? or asked me if i wanted an estimate to fix it especially when you kept the car overnight?

DO BOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!If I could give less than one star I wouldMy tuck was brought in for a lift/leveling and alignment.It was brought in at 7am and we were told they were working on it and everything was going great..12 rolls around and the manger walked in saying nothing has been done.Since 7 am in the morning and nothing was done.I am completely beside myself and I dont know what kind of people are running this facility I would never in a million years take my truck back to this place. My husband sat there and waited since 7 AM and was told everything was going great and they were almost done.. come to find out at noon nothing was done. NOTHING. I urge you not to use this place. Find a place with better customer service, better quality and better people. After confronted the manager just ran and hid in the garage and he would not say anything. Great manager you have there.

They did state inspection. Very fast.

I recently had some work done on my truck and noticed the same issue occurring a couple months later. I explained the situation and they were able to take care of it. All I can say is this is a very honorable business and Im glad its outside of our neighborhood. I will definitely recommend.

Friendly neighborhood shop. After just 2 visits the employees already remembered my name and face.They are happy to answer any questions I have and have even given me instructions on how I could do some minor repairs/maintenance on my own (I still just let them do it).The shuttle service is so helpful. It cant be overstated how convenient being right in the neighborhood and getting a ride back to my house to take care of errands instead of waiting in the shop is.

As always the service has been great. They actually do a better job than most car dealership service departments. I like the fact this is a family owned business and not a big corporation, so they take the time to make sure everything is right. Ive tried leaving and going to other places for car repair or maintenance but everything brings me right back here.

I had a tire go bad on a Saturday afternoon. Sent an email requesting a quote for price and availability, received a reply first thing Monday morning. They were able to get my tires and install them Monday afternoon. Great service, excellent communication, my truck will be in the area for a while and I plan on bringing it back for any future service it might need.

This place is my go to for anything. Theyre upfront and as honest as they come. I have always been in and out with the time frames they give me as well.

Went in for a transmission flush, new spark plugs and oil change for my 2013 Ford Escape. Next day it was shifting hard from 2nd to 3rd gear. Took my vehicle back and they knew what it was and took care of it immediately. Chris explained that my vehicle, like most newer vehicles, dont have dip sticks so its difficult when doing a fluid change to determine if you put enough back in. Chris is knowledgeable and thorough and I appreciate his honesty.

This place uses faulty equiptment. i took my car in for some work and they did not even fix what i paid to fix,the next day it was the same exact problem.my boyfriends family also took their car in several times and they ended up going back to fix the same problem three times paying the same price before realizing it that they were using faulty parts and did not fix anything.i would not recommend going here at all unless you want to waste your time and money.

Since moving to the area a few years ago we have trusted Richmond Tire and Automotive to take care of our vehicles. These guys are very honest and do good work, both of which are often hard to come by. Everyone on staff is incredibly polite. This is my hometown Auto Mechanic and will be as long as we live here.

I went here at about 6:05 pm, thinking they were still open because the internet said they closed at 7:00 pm. They filled my tires anyway and the man who did it told me I should get my alignment checked. He was very polite and I really appreciate that he filled my tires after they were technically closed.

I have never had good luck with auto repair shops. Being a woman I almost always felt like I was being ripped off because I was a woman. That is NOT the story with Richmond Tire. I have been a customer here for 7+ years and always get great service and an honest quote/opinion on what needs to be done on my vehicle. Locally owned and operated, the owners are a part of the community and work hard at maintaining that relationship.All of our cars are serviced here. We wont go anywhere else for tires or any repairs.Give them a try and you WONT be sorry.

Very friendly attentive staff. We recently had a battery go bad and they were courteous enough to test it for free and then had a very competitive price on a replacement.

Always cranked back up, still does.2 oxygen senors, $200, or $100 eachLock cylinder, $92.18 (which still works the same) (still have the same key too?? Didn’t know that was possible)Horn contact kit $40.57 (only found bc he said the cylinder was locked)PROBLEM ONE!2 oxygen sensors cost $50 or $25 eachLock cylinder $24 at advanced autoHorn contact kit $16 at advanced auto(Parts geek and others have these parts bout 30% cheaper) but we won’t go there....END OF THE DAY, that’s not why I’m here..MAIN PROBLEM!!!!The car ran better for 25 miles and was having is having the EXACT same issue. Exactly the same!!!!!!!!!!!! He gave my wife a quote during pickup for an intake manifold gasket, 2 knock sensors and harness for an ADDITIONAL $800, but said it’s running A lot better and quotes valid thru June, “no rush” BUT it will need it over time.NOTICE I said manifold GASKET!!!, NOT AN INTAKE MANIFOLD**I can get the actual intake manifold!! w/ gasket included for $382 at parts geek!!!!** WOW!!!!!!!! Lil mark ups are okay, but honor your work when you mark up like they do.Now claims 7 days later, the $800 job needs to be done to get her running right LMAO.. THEY reset the new oxygen sensors so it ran better, very briefly. Guess those ASE technicians screw up too. Why not replace that and leave the sensors alone??? And horn?? And lock cylinder that still sticks?? The car may run slightly slightly worse with these oxygen sensors on it. The lock cylinder was never locked, I told him you “gotta jiggle her a lil”.. guess what, it’s still like that. Family car dies at the light. Not sure I’d consider this a good FAMILY place. (Also same guy Made my wife feel super awkward/ creeped out during the pickup, asked if she was my daughter.. we’re 29, kinda weird)Its honestly a great truck. I can keep it running smooth at idle by braking and givin just a hair of gas (SAME THING AS before the $700 JOB), just didn’t want my wife doing that with the kids in the car, also told him that day 1.Didn’t even get a “sorry this happens, sometimes” on the way out after returning to get keys.Funny thing is God has a way of covering things like this. Word of mouth will go along way. I’m carrying receipts and quotes with me all month.Parts are 4-10 times higher than a good deal. It may sound like an oxymoron, but I can assure you that RT&A performs trustworthy, professional and high quality service. This family owned business is interested in serving you for the long term, and not just for the quick hit. Chris will be the first one to tell you what he thinks is an immediate and/or safety issue(s), and also tell you the things that can wait a bit if you choose. Even though I am typically a fix it all kind of guy (except for my old airport car), I appreciate the honesty and integrity of this business methodology. This is the first shop I has earned my full trust in my 50 years. And believe me, that is hard to earn.We even have our cars that were serviced by the Dealer with RT&A. They will peform the SAME service intervals with proper parts, fill out, stamp & certify your Service Manual to ensure your warranty is in protected. AND .... these service intervals are priced at significantly more reasonable terms. Why pay the Dealers overhead and labor for the same service? Also .... you wont get the pressure of all the uneccessary add-ons that the Dealer will give you.From the personal family-owned service to the honest, professional, high quality and reasonably priced workmanship, you will likely find this shop as the future home for all of your auto needs.

I have only used this place for tires which is their specialty and every time something isnt done right. Asked for a rotation and they dont do it. Tires are not balanced and low on pressure after getting brand new ones put on. I dont think they have any sort of checklist before completing a job. Ill never do business there again.

They got me in the same day I called for an appointment. Had our cars serviced and inspected for 2yrs, never feel like we are getting bad service or sold anything we dont need.

Id avoid. Didnt do the job I asked for, then said they would fix it. Wasted my wifes time taking them the vehicle to fix it for them to say they cant because of incorrect information.
