The selection at Total Wine for both beer and wine is fenominal! Generally the staff have someone on hand that can speak to most wines and offer great recommendations.There are staff pick sign throughout and Ive never been disappointed when selecting something. Everything from high end to sub $10 table wines. Their beer selection offers a fantastic selection from RVA and around the world too.

Is there a kind of beer they dont carry? This store may have wine in the name but they carry an amazing selection of beer. We went there looking for gluten free beer. When we consulted an associate, he not only showed us the beer section but explained that there are beer brands which reduce the gluten by removing it and then beer brands like Glutenberg (delicious) that make beer without any gluten at all. Generally here for the spectacular beer selection. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We enjoy the occasional cigar and they also have a decent selection, not to mention my favorite brand.

I’m writing this review about Matt Billingsley specifically. Great ASM you all have on your hands here. I came in a couple of weeks ago for a regular purchase but had a project that I needed to buy corks from. Unfortunately there weren’t any corks other than reusable ones, and that wasn’t specifically what I needed. Instead of suggesting somewhere else to “go look”, Matt took it upon himself to go the extra mile in the back room and provide me with TONS of donated corks, which fit right into my sustainability project needs. Thank you again Matt for going out of your way to help me, you are appreciated.

Excellent selection of wines. You will find a much better selection of wines here than any grocery store. They have information cards with each wine and their rating, so it makes it easy to pick out a good quality wine.

Today was my very 1st time in Total Wines on Broad St in Henrico Va. I got whiplash LOL from looking up&down at all the variety they have. Beer>eat wines in one place, what mor is there to ask for💯😀i found my go to place!

The gentleman doing the wine tasting was vary polite. He asked what we liked and explained to us what he was giving samples of and ended up selling the product to us he was handing out. I enjoyed the visit. They also have a large selection of local beer.

You cant beat the selection. Theyre always adding new products and keep a good stock on hand! Plus the prices are great. I really appreciate how clean and organized they keep the shelves (shelving, stocking, etc.). The staff are usually friendly and ALWAYS knowledgeable. Sometimes they keep the open lanes to a minimum but it usually doesnt effect checkout wait.

If you like to entertain your guests with a nice reasonably priced bottle of nice dinner wine than Total Wine is the place to go. They have various selections of wine and the employees are always very nice and friendly great customer service as well. If your not sure what type of wine would go with your meal the employee are very knowledgeable and will assist you with what youre looking for.

I usually go here just for beer and they have a pretty good selection. Be careful when you buy something thats been marked down. It still usually rings up at full price or as another product and then the cashier has to find the discount code. This has happened to me the last 4-5 times Ive been in there.

So Ive lived in Richmond for a few years now and this is the only Total Wine Ive been to because the other location is south of the river and further away. Ive heard they are opening a new on in Short Pump which I will be excited to check out in hopes that its got better employees.Every time Ive ever been in this location Ive never been offered help and only once Ive had someone cheerful at the register. Any time Ive needed help finding a beer Ive had to hunt down someone to help me.Case in point, my husband went in here last night, the store was quiet and there were two other customers that we could see in the store. We passed by three employees and no one said hello or greeted us or even asked if were were looking for something specific (which we were). Now Im not a privileged individual, I used to work retail and I get it. But theres also a line to be drawn that is general common courtesy and doing your job whether you like it or not. When we had trouble finding what we were looking for I had to go search and find and employee to help us.There selection is good but their management/employee situation isnt great, heres to hoping their Short Pump location is better!

Love the variety here! Way better than ABC! The employees are helpful when needed and this is the only place I have been able to find that Carries Sake. If you have never tried Sake before, I highly reccomend!! I would also recommend drinking it warm (about 100-105°F) and sip, its a wine not a shot! LoL

A wine warehouse sort of store, with racks and racks of wine. The prices are low and staff is friendly and helpful. Good supply of ales too. I did not find an odd malbec I sought, but did buy two malbec wines both nice and very inexpensive. Salud!

I dont need to drone on about how you could spend hours looking at the beers and wines they have on stock. Aisles and aisles of em. The staff will help you find everything, theyre great. Just be picky about what you buy, some of the less local/popular beers are collecting dust... And taste like it. The only place I can think of that sells 30 beer cases!The store is called Total wine and so they have wine from every region imaginable. They also have quick chillers, so you can almost immediately pour a glass. Wine spritzers too, if youre into that.
