I never ever leave reviews but I wanted to recommend this place. Called the day of for a concern regarding my tire. Fit me in the same day and fixed the problem in less than an hour that same evening. Fast, professional, and very reasonable prices! Thank you for a great job.

Everyone at Vonderlehr Tire Pros was just that - a pro. Instead of having me wait, they told me to come in and replaced my tire at a price better than any other place, knew what they were looking at, were professional, cordial, and fast. Loki (sp?), Richard, Warren, and spoke to Cole on the phone were wonderful not only with replacing the tire - I thought I had lost my wallet and they went out of their way to look for it. I had a flat on a brand new tire (purchased from another shop) that had 2 miles on it.They could have charged me more, but since I only needed a new valve stem, the repair cost was less.Everyone was very friendly, and this is the shop I will use going forward.There is plenty of comfortable seating the the huge waiting area, which doubles as a mini automotive antigues museum.

Excellent customer service. Warren helped to find heavy load original factory tires for my Tesla Model 3. The tires needed to be special ordered, but Vonderlehr Tire Pros was still able to take delivery and schedule the install within just a couple of days! Everyone was very nice, the atmosphere was real chill, and the guy who looked everything over for me (didnt catch any names unfortunately) really did his best to help me find the cheapest option that would work best for me. I dont know much about cars or tires so i always appreciate when professionals explain things to me, and vonderlehr always does that! they were quick and effective and i was in and out for a tire replacement/rotation within an hour. there arent a whole lot of options nearby for waiting but they have a nice waiting room and i brought a lawn chair and sat outside. i definitely recommend vonderlehr for richmond tires

I called in about a flat tire and was able to get an appointment the same day. I was in and out in about 30 minutes, and it only cost $20 to repair the tire. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about questions I had. I really appreciate that the staff gave me information without pressuring me to buy anything. They get you what you need and dont push you for more like most auto shops do. I highly recommend!

Huge thank you to the guys at Vonderlehr for repairing my leaky tire. I took the car in at 8 and it was done at 930 on short notice. They patched my tire and offered to re check the tread in a few months (tread is getting a bit low). Tire patch was $20 and worth every penny! They didnt try to up sell or do any unnecessary work. I will be back to purchase tires from them in the future!

My experience here and I havent even gotten my tires yet was excellent. I dealt with Richard initially over the telephone. I then went to the establishment he took his time and he educated me about tires. He didnt just blow me off or just sell me anything. He was patient and took his time to the point he took me into the area where the tires are stored and showed me a couple of examples.

Im definitely using them again in the future.Having been burned by another business in Lakeside, Ive been a bit leery about going to another mechanic for fear of getting fleeced. After looking at Google reviews, I decided to call Vonderlehr to schedule an appointment for a front end alignment, knowing that my right front tire was getting pretty thin.Id called on a Friday, but there werent any openings, so I scheduled for early on Tuesday. It didnt take them long to get my car and take a look at it, and they were up front in that there was a chance that Id need a full 4-wheel alignment, if it was bad enough. After a bit, one of the mechanics came and let me know that my front tire was worn through, and it would be too dangerous to ride out on. He offered to find a tire that matched the new ones I had on the back, which was reasonably priced and came with a good guarantee / included balancing in the future.He even went so far as to rotate my new tires up, and make sure everything was set with the tire I had to buy. In the end, I wasnt charged for anything that I wasnt made well aware of, and I didnt feel like they were trying to take advantage of me in any way. I was out in about an hour, and the service was excellent. Im really glad to have found a mechanic that I can trust, and I plan on going back in the future for other service needs.

Vonderlehr Tire Pros. is the best place to go for all your tire needs and alignments! They are super professional and they work very hard to make sure your car is in tip top shape. All of the guys there are super professional and approachable. The best thing is that they are very honest, and with it being a family owned business you will see a little bit of the family history on the inside which is really cool since it is about a 100 year old building. The fact that this business has been around for almost 100 years just proves that this place is worth going to, and its an important staple of Richmond. They have some interesting antique pieces as well that are awesome to see! With the rate they are going they will definitely be around for another 100 years. Called them in the afternoon and was in the next day for 4 new tires. Price was very good too and the service was great. They offer warranty on tires and give you a rotation schedule to follow for it. I recommend them to anyone.

Came to have a flat fixed, but unfortunately they said the tire was done for. When I explained I wouldnt be able to afford a new tire til pay day, they installed my spare tire for free and gave me a reasonable quote for a new tire and said come back and see us when I can afford it. The staff here are wonderful. We were driving down from Canada, noticed a bulge in the front tire wall, and were worried we’d have to change our trip plans, which would’ve been difficult and expensive. We also had winter tires on the car, which aren’t usually carried around here so we were worried and unsure what to do. We read the reviews and called Vondelehr and they were knowledgeable and reassuring. Everything was straightforward and they had us back on the road within 45 minutes. Im a long time customer of Vonderlehr Tire and Ive always been more than happy with their service. I made an appointment to get my tire patched yesterday, but found out I needed a new tire. They took the time to show me what had happened to my tire and sent an employee out to get the tire needed for my car. They were respectful of my time (I was in between work appointments); they changed my tire and had me out the door within an hour.

My husband, 4 dogs, and I were 2 hours into a 15 hour drive when we noticed a screw in our tire. Even though there were busy, they took us right away. I am so very thankful for their quick service. Turns out there are truly great people out there.

I got a flat tire on I-95 en route to Fredericksburg. I exited onto Chamberlayne as a storm was approaching and saw Vonderlehr Tire. It was about 4:35 and I noticed the shop was to close at 5:00. As I got out of my car in the rain, a gentleman came out and asked how he could help; he immediately noticed a nail in my tire, asked for my key, and led me to the lobby. Vonderlehr patched my tire and had me back on the road a few minutes before 5:00. I am thankful for great and speedy customer service and most especially for the gentleman who assisted me. They had the tires I needed in the shop same day and had them installed and ready to drive by the end of the day. Just had a new set of tires put on two cars. I shopped a bit for price and availability of options. Found the best combination of options and service here.Was able to wait to have the tires installed and all went well. We had one minor hiccup but am very happy with how it was addressed. I always turn to vondelehr when I need tires. They always give me great and prompt service for a good price. Needed a new tire this morning and I was in and out in 15 minutes. The last time I went instead of upselling me a new tire they simply fixed the hole in my existing tire for like 30 bucks. Theyre good peoples over there.

I had to get a tire patched so I went here on my lunch break because of its proximity to my job. They told me they werent able to patch the tire because there was damage to the wall. They then showed two tires to me, one of which was more expensive than the other. I asked if it made a difference because I didnt mind paying the extra. The gentleman who assisted me said, Honestly no. Between these two, youll get the same level of performance and durability. Id put these cheaper ones on my car myself. I was in and out in thirty minutes. When I need to replace all four tires on my wifes car this winter, Ill be coming here. These guys are honest straight shooters.
