Just wanted to share how great of an experience it is every time I come into the store. Patrick greeted and helped us last weekend and he did a great job, was friendly, knowledgeable, and we even shared some laughs. Always a 5 star experience at this Orvis location.

I’ve had the privilege of interacting with just about everyone who works here and they are all truly wonderful, knowledgeable, and helpful people. There are very few places you receive customer care and service that goes above and beyond your expectations these days and the fine people at Orvis provide an incredible experience every time. They’ve helped make my entrance into fly fishing smooth and easy and I’m grateful for all of the help along the way!

AMAZING experience here. Jeff took an hour of his time to teach us the basic of fly fishing, fly selection, leaders, tippets, and even helped us set up the new line. Could not have asked for a better experience and will for sure be back for advice, flies, and more.

JULIE went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me find a top that I was looking for! I was actually able to get the last one in my size because of her insistence on checking! I had originally called about making a return and I was frustrated that I had lost my credit card. She turned my whole day around with her bright spirit and positive attitude!!!

I always have mixed feelings when I shop at Orvis: the clothes are expensive and the opportunities for useful sale pricing are limited...but the clothes are good quality and you get what you pay for. Staff at this store never high pressure a sale. Parking is easy at this strip mall although getting in/out of the parking lot is complicated by a set of odd and one-way intersections.

Staff is excellent, very knowledgable and eager to help. Very good quality products and I enjoy the different products offered by other vendors. My only criticism is that some of the prices are quite high for items and clothing made in China or elsewhere. Would love to see some more domestic manufacturing.

Great location on River Road.....the two items i wanted werr not in my size...the clerk said he could order them on line and ship to my house with no charge. NOW THAT IS SERVICE. I needed some help with other items...there was no pressure to buy and the staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.....by the way the selection here for dogs is superb. The staff member who helped me the most.....sadly i cant remember his name but he was originally from Middlesex.

Super nice and clean store very friendly staff that were genuinely excited to talk about fly fishing and the brand they represent. Big thanks to Patrick he made my first experience with a brick and mortar ovris store one that will keep me coming back whenever I visit RVA

This is a very niche store that does an excellent job at focusing on genteel outdoors clients who want an upper crust version of LL Bean. There are some promotional and discounts but dont look for sales here. Fly fishing, trips for luxury resorts, flasks, are here for genteel outdoors gentlemen and ladies. This is also the male haven for those accompanying wives shopping at Talbots.

This is hands down the best flyfishing store in central Va, they have a great selection of fly rods, reels and flies to pick from. They do stocks some very hard to find flies. The staff is very polite and friendly. Stop in and see for yourself.

Always friendly and helpful people with a good selection of clothing and fly fishing gear. Fishing advice and stories also first rate.

Excellent customer service! Went in with a problem with my wading boots, and they were replaced, no questions asked, no hassle at all. Adam was very friendly and helpful. Thats why i keep going back!
