The staff was very friendly and I liked having the option to taste what fudge or ice cream I wanted. I got the maple-nut fudge to taste which was good, but settled on a milkshake. You are able to mix two flavors so I chose the Strawberry Chunk and Coconut Ice Cream. If you are looking for a mild taste of coconut do not get the Coconut Ice Cream because there are loads of coconut pieces inside making the Coconut strongly potent. I do like that so I enjoyed everything.

I have never had such a delicious, soft, smooth and rich ice cream before.

They have fantastic chocolate covered.. well pretty much everything here. They have a little ice cream shop in the back which my wife and I stopped in to grab a couple of scoops. Tons of stuff to get in here, from candy apples, caramel pecan Turtles really any sort of chocolate goodness you can think of. I believe most everything is made here they do have a lot of pre-packaged things that you can pick up as well. They also have a little fudge counter where you can get a little sliver to try. A great Richmond staple forgetting chocolates highly recommend everything is great!

Excellent treat shop with fresh chocolates and ice cream. I had the Makinac fudge ice cream in a waffle cone and it was delicious. Very friendly staff!

Kilwins was great, the hot fudge sundae was delicious, the super man ice cream was great as well and all the fudge was fantastic. I enjoy ice cream and fudge that is not to sweet, but you can taste the favors. Will definitely come back!!!

They have fantastic icecream. Their caramel is the BEST I have ever tried. I reccomend the cashew caramel turtles and the caramel apples. The seafoam candy is awesome too. This was a family favorite when our children were young as we lived in Michigan (state of Ks establishment) so Glad to see them opening stores everywhere

I love their toasted coconut ice cream. The peanut butter fudge is my favorite one in the whole world.

I purchased a single chocolate candy that was supposed to be hazelnut truffle but turned to have no detectable hazelnut at all, let alone truffle consistency. And it did not taste good at all. I spit it out and threw it away and told the women at the counter. They looked at each other with such derision, as I were a mental case. When I said they could at least refund my money, they only talked about how everyone loves them and they are popular and that it was my taste buds. They saw me spit out the candy and throw it. I have bought your fudge and it was good but there is none with hazelnut which is why I inquired if they had anything with hazelnut. Now, I will never patronize your shop again. Very bad customer service. Insulting customer service. Would Kilwins go broke by offering a refund for one single chocolate candy? Now you not only have lost my custom forever, but I will give nothing but negative reviews. I am off to Yelp to share my experience in your store.

I truly enjoyed having dinner in the area to only come across a hidden gem! Now I must say it can get a little pricey $$$, but these decadent sweets and tasty treats will having you running back for more! I recommend the salted-caramel ice cream

A great dessert option after a good meal on Cary St. Amazing range of chocolates, fudge, candied popcorns, brittles, and of course ice cream. The ice cream is nice and creamy and the waffle cones are fresh and tastey. Definitely a must stop to recharge on long day of street shopping.
