UPDATE: Was able to return just before the window I could access closed. The store and prices were great and COVID protocols were followed. They are dog friendly and I was able to bring my small dog inside with me.————-Drove an hour to see a sign on the door that it was closed due to a power outage. Check before you go! Will update review when I am able to return.
I needed gear for an extended wilderness trip. Replaced rain gear, built a waterproof, layered shell, some shorts, pants and shoes for under $300, all quality stuff, well below typical retail prices. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of taking my partner there the next day. Its in a super cool repurposed industrial building. This area is worth exploring and there are no better places to view the Bay and SF skyline.
Some pretty good deals, but some better than others. Nothing spectacular as its reputation would have you believe. Not a particularly wide selection of items. Long lines for dressing rooms and at the register. I did buy a pair of shorts and saved a few bucks, but I wont return.
Quality good as always, good sale but, selection was low. Needed light sweater jackets and rain coat. Rain coat only had XS, need S to wear with a shirt on and colors of sweaters was not my colors
Make sure to bring your invitation as that is the only way to get in because this is an employee store.Employees are super friendly and knowledgeable.Sizes are hit or miss but you can order off the in-store computer if they dont have your size.Discounts are good so its super dangerous to the wallet... I dropped over $1,800 so be cautious if youre being your significant other 🤑
If you can get in its great. Only complaint is no fat boy sizes.
Pretty good prices (still a hefty tag for some things, but presumably they are quality gear!). I ended up spending more than I planned, but I got quite a few things that I like and will use. Fairly crowded on Saturday afternoon. Fitting rooms are open.
Shopping is typically in invitation only if youre not an employee. If youre fortunate to get one, make sure to take advantage of the invite. Great winter sports and cold weather gear.
Normally closed to the public, I happened to go on a public day and was shocked to see the amount of gear they sell.
Some good deals, especially at the end of the season. Columbia is a good brand and while most items are somewhat discounted, some are sold without a discount
Large lot to park in across from the entrance. Large space houses Mountain Hardwear, Columbia and Sorel brands for men, women and children. Selection varies by season. for April, there were more down jackets, light rainwear, pants and shirts than winter shells. No Sorel winter boots either, but maybe thats to be expected in mid spring. Easy to get to from the highway.
Not easy to fine, the sign say ford assembly, you are at the right place.
Visited on a Sunday afternoon, 2nd day of sale, and even though we were able to purchase some items, we had a hard time looking up for our sizes (womens medium sizes to be exact). There were a variety of really good products with good discounts but sizes were broken. Not sure when or if they replenish with the same items or with different stocks once theyre gone. Overall, with the provided discount and friendly staff, it was a very good experience. Oh, by the way, there was a queue for entering the premise when we got there and waited nearly if not 30 minutes to get in.
I bought a shirt, its a not really my style. But my job has this code which allows me to shop there. Everyone was polite
Hike the price and give discounts... May get better price else where, I think. Small store, not too many selections. Hard to find
This store restricted sales to employees and AARP members.
So overpriced even with invitation coupon which only saved approximately 5 cents off my purchase.
Good technical clothes at a good price.
Place is great has great prices and customer service was top notch especially Vanessa she help me a lot with answering questions and finding my size the reason I didnt give it 5 stars is you can only go in with a pass or I would shop more often
Great selection and excellent prices on most items! Friendly staff and nice ambiance.
Good prices, a lot of clothes but you better be slim.. nothing over XXL..
I love shopping there because I always find exactly what I am looking for. The store is spacious and the selection is amazing! Cannot beat the prices either.
Great people. Good prices
Not open to the public. But if you are able to get an invitation its a great place to get details on Columbia gear and related brands (Prana and Mountain hardwear). The store is oriented towards clothing rather than actual gear.
Lucky to have this here!
Always a great experience. Top quality items discounted.
Awesome store
Awesome customer service. Friendly employees. Great experience and good deals
From my experience the Columbia brand discounts were less than you could get online or at the Columbia outlet stores. I was pleasantly surprised by the Prana-brand clothes available. The discount on those is pretty good, but selection is minimal. Overall, Id skip the employee store and check out the outlets.
Great selection of outdoor gear and apparel. Employee store prices are great! No more paying retail price! 🤙
The discounts are fairly substantial on some things. The depth of inventory for an outlet store is pretty good. Yes, I know its not an outlet store but it functions like an outlet store. However, its not an easy place to get to. Its in a very remote area and the only thing around there is the Rosie the Riveter Museum.
Very helpful and very nice people. Bought two shirts rain jacket and pair of pants. Saved 41.7% off of retail. Very happy.
Wonderful prices! Selection can be on the paltry side, lots XS and XL sizes. Go to Assemble for a quick lunch to pick up the free pass to get in.
Beautiful employee store. Friendly staff
Great prices, allot of the sizes in this store are are WAYY different than whats out in the marketplace. Easy solution for Columbia: make all clothing in one country
Fantastic, but requires an invite. Great prices on high quality outdoor clothing and equipment (tents, backpacks, sleeping bags) from Columbia, Sorel, Mountain Hardware and now Prana. A great option for some items that may not be in stock is that you can order online and have delivered at employee store pricing.
Great prices and nice workers
Amazing collection and amazing deals!
I make sure to visit each time Im out in Cali and make sure to stock up. Best quality gear and clothing Ive owned
Loved the prices and helpful employees. Hated the lack of AC
Nice selection and great prices. Open only to company employees unless your workplace or summer other organization has a special event.
Discounts are pretty good. Also the staff were very nice and informative.
Amazing deals if you have a pass to get in.
Great prices on quality merchandise.
Great fashion, great quality and good prices. You need an invitation as its an employee store.
Employee store pricing location. Large variety at great discounts
Good selection of clothes, but they dont have everything thats offered on the website. Multiple brands sold here - Columbia, Mountain Hardware, Sorel, PrAna
Quality stuff! But they need to update their store with upto trend.
Very good experience.
You need a pass to get in; mostly Columbia wear.
Love this place
Overrated.
Your supposed to get employee discount ...but it wasnt good.
Hard to find either expensive clothes
Enjoy employee pricing
Sizes run small, nice selection
Floor customer service was grand!!!!
Never disappointing.
The juug!!!
Doesn’t public
Good store
Only for Columbia employees
It is very good prices there I worked and I can say that good attention and you find everything related to camping and clothes for the changes of seasons very good
Excellent attention
Is closed
A store that cannot be entered without an employees letter of introduction. Colombia is only partially handled, and other manufacturers are also included. If you only want to see Colombia, I recommend outlet stores.
