Conveniently located! This place is amazing!! The decor is fun and old-timey, and the service was very fast and friendly.I got the breakfast club sandwich and it was easily a top 5 breakfast sandwich for me. Portion size was excellent and the food came out lightning fast even though there were quite a few other customers.The personal pitcher mimosas are a big draw too!!Absolutely going on my rotation for breakfast places.

25 minute wait to get into this Cafe but they do have outdoor benches. I always know what to order to test if they know how to cook. I ordered biscuits and gravy as its one of the simplest things to cook. If a Cafe or restaurant cant fix that correctly dont go there. The biscuits seemed to be canned type and the homemade sausage gravy seemed to be package pepper gravy with sausage added. I went during their busy time Saturday morning. Very loud seemed to be a lot of collage people. The waitresses were very good and attentive.

4.5 stars- excellent meal and fun atmosphere but service was particularly slow. We came on a Friday morning and although we were seated immediately, it took an hour to order and get our food. Im wondering if a labor shortage is to blame here because it didnt seem as well staffed as they needed for how busy they were. Had to flag down our waitress twice for coffee and water refills. Otherwise, I really appreciated the retro vibe and the food was excellent (loved the homemade corned beef hash!). Will come back to try the pitchers!

I cant say enough about Moore Street Cafe! I had the crab hash with eggs and bacon as well as a pancake, you know, for research purposes... all on my plate were delicious and Id have it again and again. What I was not a fan of was the apple mimosa. The idea is catchy to put the drinks in the pitcher but it fell short on the buzz for me. The staff is amazing and you should go here for breakfast.

I was in Richmond for the day. I had to take my dog for surgery at Helping Hands Vet and Dental Clinic. I Google restaurants in the area and this place came up. I found it but, had a hard time finding a place to park. When I arrived I was seated and ordered breakfast. It came out in about 5 minutes. No joke. And the food was very good. I was crowded and that was around 9:30am. Seeing all these folks in there told me that the good was good. And it wasnt expensive. It looks like a hole in the wall but, believe me you wont be sorry eating there. Friendly wait staff and manager.

Five stars has to be earned not given. Overall, very delicious meal. Grits were cold and hash browns were a bit overcooked (more to the burnt side). Would definitely recommend this place for someone looking for a small, quaint breakfast spot in Richmond.

This place is a hidden GEM! They have the best French toast I think I’ve had in my life. The weekends are pretty busy but they have a super convenient pick up window that you can order from or pick up your food from. So happy this spot is right in my neighborhood!

How Charlie Hughes managed to get the best staff is beyond me! Besides good food, Moore St Cafe is fun, friendly, a great place to go and enjoy eating!

In town for the weekend and wanted to find a spot for breakfast. Searched for breakfast near me and found this GEM.We expected a wait due to COVID and saw the restaurant was quite popular by the line outside.We were placed on a waiting list immediately and told it would be 60 minutes. This was fine. It gave us a chance to run a errand.We didnt have to worry about losing our spot because we received a text with our spot in line and could see as we moved closer to being seated. (thanks for that) We were seated very close to that time.The food options were great, portion size plentiful and everything was tasty. The pancakes were everything people raved about and all of our food items were fresh. Not to mention, the price was well worth the value.We want to thank our wait staff who were attentive, prompt and pleasant!Cant wait to visit again and get their signature mimosas.

The person I was there at breakfast with had to send food back because the egg whites were runny, which is disgusting. The server seemed off put by being asked to put the eggs back on the grill, and they came back scorched, which was the most passive-aggressive way that could have been handled. The wait staff were inattentive at best. The food did not meet expectations, especially after waiting a total of 2 hours from getting on the wait list to food on the table. Also, they bring the credit card machine to you and ask how much of a rip you want to leave. That is very invasive, especially since I did not feel like the service or experience warranted a tip. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone and would ask that the staff do better.

Sooo this was my first time ever trying Moore Street and I did take out . It was actually pretty good . I came here because I wanted a good breakfast and I love trying new places and they had great reviews ! I got the pancakes with hash browns bacon and sausage. The pancakes were ok .. the hash browns were kind of mushy but I should’ve asked for well done and the sausage and bacon were so damn good . The bacon was the best cooked bacon I’ve had in a while .

You cannot go wrong with this business. Best breakfast in Richmond with a huge variety of choices. Treat yourself and the table to a mimosa and share. Even bought a t shirt as I will advertise for them personally. Go and enjoy!!

Ordered online. BLT and full order of sausage gravy biscuits. Food was ready in the 7 minutes it took to drive there. BLT was the best I have had for $4. Bacon was perfect and the tomatoes were juicy. Sausage gravy was lacking sausage and as a result flavor. Service was great. Wish I could give 4.5 stars.

The experience was very good. We tried months ago to get in but we were unable to get seats for the number of people we had. When you go for breakfast try to get there before 9am. Well worth the wait.

This place has always had great food I used to come here every single day. I ended up getting a job on the other side of town and havent been here in about a year-and-a-half. I came today to get just a simple chicken biscuit for pickup. The lady at the asked if I was okay with a 15% gratuity added to my bill. In which I stated no not at this time.She then proceeded to run my credit card after it went through she said okay thank you and went to close the window. I then asked her if I could get a copy of my receipt in which she then print it off and hand it to me. As I walk away I see that she added a 15% gratuity.When I tip I usually tip 25% however this was just a quick morning pick up before I went to work which is why I did not eat inside also to provide them with more room to serve other customers.To me when you add a 15% or any gratuity after a customer has stated no theyre not okay with that no matter what the amount is that is completely wrong and dishonest.I would warn customers before eating here to double check your receipt if it is a pickup order to verify that they did not add 15% gratuity like they did myself.I understand everybody is hurting a little bit in the restaurant industry however Im a struggling guy myself. Its not so much the little bit of money that you took from me its mainly the dishonesty from your employee.This was going to be my everyday breakfast spot now that Im working back on this side of town however with what happened this morning it cost them a lot more in the long run. Great food but customer beware.

Went here for months when I lived in Richmond. Great options even though its not too diner-y on the menu. Would always get pancakes with my breakfast and theyre delicious. Super nice waitresses too. Always seemed to come back. Would definitely recommend. Hope theyre doing okay through the pandemic.

Literraly walked in at 1:31 to have a birthday breakfast with my son for them to tell me they stop seating at 1:30. Seriously 1:31!!! Walked to my car and it was 1:32 when I started the car. As much as I love their pancakes, I am not sure if Ill go back. I could understand if I had a big party or even if it was 1:35 but damn 1:31!!. Truly was my favorite place until today!! So disappointed and I truly feel devalued as a customer.

Food was average. Biscuit was a overcooked and definitely not homemade. Gravy was okay but again tasted fake. French toast was good. Bacon okay but very then cooked well though. Prices is what saved the place for the price it’s okay food but definitely not the best breakfast I have ever had. Cooks also argued with each other multiple times which is awkward since everyone can hear you. Overall would at least try it once if you haven’t, wouldn’t go back.

After a 30 minute walk...my friend and I went here for brunch. Delicious...delicious...delicious! Had buttery golden fluffy pancakes with corned beef hash and scrambled eggs. My tummy is happy! Excellent customer service. Now need to do another 30 minute walk!

Got the flying squirrels bowl n he got the country fried steak n pancakes..... Heaven!!! Atmosphere is cool, old movies actors on the walls, oldies playing in the backgroynd. Definitely an old time diner feel. Got there at about 8, not crowded at all. About 8:30 started to get busier. Service was good, food amazing, whats not to love?
