Overall I like the convenience of this store being right across the street. The selection is decent. The prices are good. However, they often times are out of a couple of products I regularly look for, not sure if this is on them or shipping. Other stores do have the products in stock though. Sometimes you get hassled by people asking for money but this has been better lately.

Best salad bar in Richmond! The store was clean and the associates was nice and helpful. Come here for the salad bar, you wont be disappointed.

This grocery store offers all kinds of food. Great cheese and produce area. Very clean

Its a bit more expensive then most grocery stores but its the only one on this side of town. There are also plenty of sales and coupons If the options were greater it would be a 5 star. Its almost at that rating.

Downtown Richmond has the friendliest people, this grocery store is no exception. Smiling faces, clean isles, great selection and ice cold beer in a walk-in cooler.

They have a HUGE selection of non-alcoholic beers. As a recovering alcoholic with over 15 months sober, seeing that really inspired me. Glad companies are recognizing that by being such super promoters of alcohol consumption, that theyre no better than heroin pushers/dealers, and that healthy alternatives do exist!Thanks

The salad bar is back open 😋. You have to sanitize your hands and put on a pair of gloves. I love the huge selection of food on the salad bar; always fresh. The seafood salad is my favorite.

The store is run down and just doesn’t compete with others locally. The staff are nice but not always interested in saying hello. There’s often no one at customer service.The prepared foods look too scary to try and dry and canned food on the shelves is close to expiration dates. Time for real changes to better serve this neighborhood.

I generally go there for their fried chicken. Its sad that these shops never have enough staff members working and they loose customers because of of it. They have great chicken and its the only Farm Fresh that I know who still serves their famous fried chicken. They beat out KFC.

Farm Fresh is convenient, but could do better with managing expired food that is still out for consumption/purchase. They have been caught rubbing expiration dates off of Shady Brook Farms meets and have tried to sell browning tuna as recent as last week. Their fresh food area servers could also use a pep talk to adjust attitudes and be reminded that they are in a service business. Overall, decent selection for a smaller grocer, but there are some required housekeeping items that need tending to before the the state or board of health step in.

I was able to find everything that I was looking for which was, admittedly, an amalgamation of some pretty specific ingredients. Staff was okay and the store overall was okay as well. Not a huge fan of the parking lot and how the spaces are set up. The location is a little odd itself so I missed it initially. No big deals though.

I really enjoy their local selection and overall offerings. From their wide Sauers selection, to their brews and meats.

There has been numerous times where there is a sole cashier running the first register and the entirety of self checkout. I watch the poor employee dashing back and forth trying to handle the lines on their own.It is unfair and unreasonable. And I feel bad knowing that there will be frustrated customers getting angry at this employee for the wait time.Pay your employee more thats running the show by themselves or get more people to help up front.

Very expensive market. But Ive seen why. Its location for one and 2, they have products that no other market would have. So every once in awhile Ill shop here. Never disappointed so far. But, I rarely do shop here. My sister however, raves about it and shops there almost daily.

The clerk that checked me out for my 6 AM milk run Sunday was very cordial and helpful.

Store stopped recycling plastic bags and should not be supported by neighbors until they resume.In response to the stores’s response: Had employees there not given me careless and false information three times, I would not have left this review. Specifically:1) I suspected this service may have been discontinued because I brought recycling to the store and could not find the bin. Therefore, I called in advance before making an additional trip. I asked if the service had been discontinued; first false answer: No.2) Thinking the employee may be bothered by taking the call, I followed up and asked, “Oh, so you can see the collection container out by the registers?”Second false answer: Yes.3) After then believing I was told the truth, I made another trip with recycling, saw I was not told the truth and asked what was the deal? Third false answer: “We discontinued recycling.”More thoughtfulness would have made this review unnecessary.

Love the store! Great customer service and this location is always stocked and clean! The staff are friendly and very helpful. Never standing around idling. Prices reasonable and the sales are great! Hot bar and salad bar with hot soups, on deck and delicious!!

They have a pretty good selection of food and varieties you dont always find at the bigger store chains.

I have been going here off and on for 17 years. The place is always clean. The food bar is good with different selections and great sales.

Clean and quick, the open buffet is closed due to covid, love the fact that the ready to eat food is taken seriously and covered with one person fixing the food. Less contamination and everything is taken to the highest precautions for our safely. A little hard to find some of the other things needed due to the set up of the store but over all good.

Great selection even if it is a little bit pricy

Ive been going here since 2005As great as this store and the employees are, why does the bathroom look like a tornado went through it. I was surprised. I never had to use it but it appears to be the norm and thats not good. Its a small restroom but I hope this isnt where the employees go to wash hands. Id say shut it down.

I come here when I visit my wife who is filming in Shockoe Bottom since last year. This is a well stocked and put together supermarket. I can always find what Im looking for when I come here. I wish most Brooklyn supermarkets were like this.

Nice selection. Everyone had on masks but the aisle food promos prohibit social distancing while shopping. Aisle marketing promos need to be reworked to promote being able to space accordingly to prevent the spread of COVID-19

Visiting Richmond and did some shopping at Farm Fresh. Clean store, well stocked. Very busy on a Tuesday night. There was no social distancing.

The employees are all pretty great, however there are times when there are not any registers open.when you walk in you are greeted by a very strong smell of fish that is pervasive. It is strong enough to notice through a mask.I cannot tell if it is coming from the sushi bar or the seafood counter but it is all over the produce area.I stopped buying produce there as it would go moldy within a day or two of me bringing it home.Good place for local beer and non-perishables.

The salad bar was closed at 5:00 since they open till 7

Convenient location, normally can find items needed, slightly priced a bit higher than other grocery stores. Staff will stand around talking to each other & pay no attention to your blinking light for assistance.. until you get the attention of another staffer. Who will state, Not My Department & points to someone closer to you...Price you pay for convenience!!!

A nice grocery store and the biggest in Shockoe. Has a good selection and pretty good prices. This is my main grocery store for where I live, the people could be a little friendlier but they do their job and my experience is never bad.

Are you looking for very overpriced groceries, employees who obviously dont care if customers do or dont return, and an understaffed facility with extremely long lines for checkout to be guaranteed each and every time you shop? Youre in luck! Farm Fresh off Main St. is the place for you! I gave this place an additional star for existing downtown (which makes it convenient) and being somewhat clean. I live across the street, but usually try to avoid this place by driving somewhere else.

Its a clean grocery store with a lot of selection. They have an awesome little desert shop inside, too! Employees are nice, decent customer service.

You guys are the only grocery store that carries the Karo green label syrup in the Richmond area, and for that I thank you. 🥰

I only go there when I need to...even though its closest to home its so overpriced...i mean Coke at $2.00? Frozen food at $10?...if you can go to Lidl, Aldi or Food Lion

The staff at farm fresh are so genuinely nice. They truly care about you as a person. The food reminds me of when I was growing up,it tastes so so so good and I love it there, its also very convenient Im right around the corner from them and again like I said I feel love when I come in the store, always your favorite new customer, Tracie Parker:)

I love it because the a great variety of meats fruits and vegetables and they always what i need when shop there always well stocked i give it 2 thumbs up!

They have a great beer selection which is located in a nifty walk-in freezer. The staff I encountered were very friendly. Cheers!

Does not offer refunds during COVID, even when the product is faulty.The $15 jar of almond butter I bought (within date) tasted terribly off, but the manager would not refund, only exchange. Lesson learned!

I think this location was nice an clean the employees were helpful. The issue I experienced was the lines moving a little slow for me I understand the cashiers might have been new employees. Farm Fresh could also use more space this location is very small.

Only grocery store in the neighborhood. Its a shame they struggle to keep good produce (because of low sales?) So go visit your neighborhood grocer. The beer selection is amazing and the fresh growler are a service you cant get anywhere else. Theres a great lunch salad bar too so go buy by the pound!

Its very expensive and their products are staleCustomer service is non existent ...its a disgrace I purchased a box of croissants ..it is pretty much doomed for consumption I believe they stock the old product on top of tye new and still sell it at full price but this isnt about money its about safety ..as I opened the box of croissants these things were so hard it was so despicable to sell it .i will never ever purchase a single thing in that place ...please people check ur products before leaving the store ..What a disgrace

Always has many, many items out of stock/not on shelves. Wish it was run better (especially given the price markup). I basically only go here when in a pinch, otherwise the trip to Walmart or Kroger is well worth the travel

Usually a pleasant experience, but on 6/ 27 there were signs posted at the door informing customers of the new rules set out by the governor and that they require masks for entering the store. I noticed multiple people not wearing a mask and one employee with the mask hanging from his face not providing protection.
