If you have time after or before the veggies shopping, spend some time just next entrance to have a great walk around the beautiful flowers festival. You will enjoy your walk. The flowers are still in full bloom and they take good care of the huge garden. The festival will not last for long since the pumpkin patch will follow soon. You can see some cute farm animals in the entrance too.
Such a beautiful farm, so well organized shows the labour of love that goes into it. Absolutely stunning with so much to explore and do. Thank you for the real trucks and tractors for city kids to experience. The Dahlias are incredible and the pumpkin fields go for as far as the eyes can see.The market has beautiful produce at amazing prices. The wagon rides through and the live music on the wagon made it so special. The Blues band playing was incredible. I could have sat there watching this great private concert.Thank you for such a lovely experience.
We love this farmers market! Id say its THE BEST in town! What an amazing variety of fruits and veggies we have never seen before. Corn on the cob is the best from here. 3 for $1! Also for the kids, they have roosters, goats, ducks and hens on the premises. The roosters roam about freely and are gorgeous! Beautiful flowers, too. Highly recommend!
We have been going to Richmond Country Farms for a few years now typically around Halloween to the pumpkin patch. Due to COVID its a bit different and more limitations are in place but it still a lot of fun. They have done a great job of creating a family friendly atmosphere with COVID protocols. We even went on a weekend which was extremely busy but they had people helping with parking and getting in and out which made it much easier to navigate. Great farm, great staff. Our kids love visiting.
Great place to buy your unique taste fruit. You can almost find vegetables, eggs, fresh honey, and soooooo cheap I mean really cheap. Try their melons and 🍑 peaches, omg soooooooo good, dont forget to visit the winery, awesome wine, and after you did the tasting, you can enjoy your wine with a beautiful live music 😉
Used to offer great price and quality. . . Alas . . . Not in the last 2-3 years. . .. . I guess the ownership must have changed hands?. . . ( or perhaps arrival of some new/rich customers to the area is to be blamed ? . . . Nice to visit the farm animals in the summer but do expect higher prices. . . )
Love this place! Great selections of fresh fruits and vegetables. They have chickens and bunnies roaming the area and eating from the ground. They also have fenced off farm animals as well! I would advised to go there on the weekend for get their freshly popped Kettle Corn Popcorn, even though its busy. Well worth the wait.
It makes grocery shopping a fun family activity to do. Great variety of fresh stuff and very good prices, with cozy farm-like vibes.
Fun interesting place for my family and kids. Lots of pumpkins to take photos and to choose. Close to the city which is very convinece. Strongly recommend this place.
Love this place. Very good price point for most items. But if itnis slightly more expensive it is probably twice as good quality. Fresh strawberries for most of the summer from their own farm. A LOT of produce from their own farm. Very enjoyable and close to home. Staff are delightful and courteous. Great plant shop as well. Not to speak of the pony rides and wine tasting etc etc.
It was great but it would have been a lot more fun if the guides had mentioned the maze Before we were on the wagon ride leaving. Feel like we missed out.
Famous for its own corns and other fresh produce, it attracts a crowd in the summer. Used to be my favorite produce store when prices were way more competitive but no longer as most products are too expensive as a farm market. The environment and service is still very good though, with farm animals attracting kids as well. Worth checking in summer.
So fun! The best day our family has had in forever!
I absolutely love it here! They have an amazing selection of organic fruits, veggies, spices, plants and fresh flowers. It’s a really nice atmosphere with country music playing in the background and I LOVE seeing all the animals run around in the back farmland. I think the prices are very reasonable. There is a winery right next-door as well and it’s a great place to stop and have a picnic after picking up your produce. Highly recommend.
This place is wonderful to visit with a family. The pumpkin patch and flower festivals are a must. Great place for photos and just admiring all the colours.
Huge selection of local fruits and vegetables. Lots of other must haves and some new things to try. Plenty of local grown fresh herbs as well.
I love coming here. The quality of the produce is so much better than what you get at the big grocery store chains. Theres usually more variety, too.
$20 per person including children (except free under 2 years) is way too pricey for a family event. Yeah you get one free pumpkin with admission but that’s about it… I’d pick another pumpkin patch. Corn maze was flooded so another attraction lost but admission was still full price. Needless to say, our family of 5 (two adults, one senior, two children aged 4 and 6) spent $100 it was not worth it at all. Go to Laity farms.
Amazing pumpkin patch with a dahlia garden. The only complaint is we couldnt go into the corn maze because it was flooded.
Huge selection, and very busy, with fast checkout. Probably the slowest thing would be finding a parking spot. This is a place I had driven by many times to and (especially) from the Tsawwassen ferry terminal. So one August Sunday afternoon we stopped by, looking mostly for large packs of berries and stone fruits. The whole place was much busier than I expected.Theres a large parking lot, but it was pretty full. There were a lot of people shipping but the layout was nicely set out for that - lots of selection and lots of space for movement. The prices were ok; it seemed like mostly regular prices, but there were a few nice values on some of their own farms items, like bulk blueberries and fresh corn. When we worked our way to the tills we saw a couple of line ups, but they moved at a nice pace. The produce we got is all very nice quality, and the 10lb box of blueberries that we got was excellent. There were some stems to remove, as expected, but no mushy ones to get upset with. All in all, a good experience and a good choice for the future.
We chose not to go here and do the wagon ride to the pumpkin patch because of the outrageous cost of $20 per person. We had one child, one senior and one adult which made it financially impossible for us to do. Do not go there as it is highly overpriced. I do not have that kind of finances to pay for this. I will never go back here again. We found somewhere else to go that was a lot less expensive.
Very fun farm with great activities for the kids. Weve been here last year during Thanksgiving for the pumpkin patch, and today we came for the sunflower festival. The sunflowers were very beautiful, and in addition, theres hayride and train around the farm.Great way to spend a great weather like this.We will definitely be back in the future for more activities.
We enjoying coming here for fresh local produce. And our kids enjoy visiting their farm animals. Great family place
Lots of great looking produce. A lot of local produce and vegetables that are in season and grown by them. Prices are reasonable as well. I love looking at the bounty of the season!! Will definitely be going back for more!
Great fruit and vegetable market. lots to see and a small farm yard zoo for kids of all ages
Today is the first day of festival and I came here with my family and the sunflowers are beautiful! However, there are still a lot that haven’t bloom yet. There also other type of colorful flowers in the middle of the sunflowers. There are also many photo ops here like bikes in between the fields! When you first arrive you will have to purchase the ticket for about $15 something per person. Then you go on a hay ride into the fields and once done you can take another hay ride back to the entrance. On the hay ride back there was live music played and sang by a lovely woman. Also there’s a train ride that wraps around the whole entrance area.Overall, very relaxing and you can take so many photos here! Also there are a lot of animals by the entrance like chickens, ducks and turkey!
Great selection but super fresh. Little pricey but you get what you pay for. The experience is unlike any other. Highly recommended if you are in the area.
Friendly place for everyone. Super family friendly and we like how they host lots of events.
This farmers market is a Richmond landmark. Lots of fresh local produce and so much more - almost a theme park. Theres even a winery onsite. We went recently for the Sunflower Festival and it was pretty amazing. A couple of acres of sunflowers - nine different varieties - some of them 12 in height. Food stalls, live music, beer garden, even a miniature train. Its a working farm so theres lots of stuff going on besides just the large produce market.
Excellent place. Lots of variety. Loved the roosters roaming around
Oh my God! They have Buy one Get One free on locally grown watermelons! One watermelon I bought weighed 24.50 lbs, and the smaller one was 20.46lbs!! HUGE!! And I only paid $7.11 for them both!
Love this place the pumpkin patch is fun they have a beautiful flower garden my family liked it
Always a great place to buy produce. In summer time its a pleasure to shop here. They have the biggest variety of produce from local farms and the Okanagan Valley.
We been coming here since the kids were young. We’ve ridden trains, picked pumpkins, rode on carts driven by tractors and singing songs. There are horses, chickens running around with their chicks, donkeys named nacho and poncho, goats and lamas. It’s a working farm. The cows are massive when you see them in person.I can’t believe I’ve never reviewed this place. But the market here is good for fresh fruits and vegetables.
Love the corn. Super sweet and tender. Way better tasting and cheaper than what you buy in supermarkets as its fresh off the fields.
Pricey but super fun seasonal festivals! We did the Sunflower Festival which was breathtaking. We also do the annual Halloween/Pumpkin Festival which is a total blast. The produce market itself cant be beat for prices or freshness! Just bring plenty of patience... its SUPER busy here.
I was sad at beginning of Covid they were closed. Its really lovely place to go, having so many things incorporated in one place. Vegetables always fresh, flowers are beautiful decent prices and the petting zoo. Highly recommend..
Had a fantastic time visiting for their pumpkin patch this year! They really think of everything and the staff is fabulous. Definitely made for a wonderful and memorable experience. 💕🎃
Beautiful farm right next to a farmers market. In the fall the farm hosts a pumpkin patch festival and in the late summer a sunflower festival. Great place to go with family and kids!!!
Fresh fruit and vegetables resnable price friendly staff👍
Drove 50 minutes to come check it out for the first time, and immediately was disappointed to be informed we had to wear a mask to shop, even though BC law said we dont. So, I decided I was not spending any money there, but told my wife, she should shop if she felt comfortable. She was hesitant, but compiled. I waited patiently outside and watched four people, two of them stocking, work no mask. Hypocrisy doesnt get out money, as my wife and noticed prices better elsewhere. Sorry, we wont be back.
A great go to shopping destination anytime of year but especially good at harvest time forn all of the bountiful local produce: corn, gourds, pumpkins apples, potatoes of many varieties and colours! Fun to to see chickens roaming around in the parking lot!
The blueberries were very sour and the watermelon (yes it was ripe) was dull and had no taste to it, very surprised considering the venue!Bought some potatoes, mint, and kale and all were delicious though! Sort of surprised trademark berries and melons were garbage.
5 STAR for farm, but then again so are the prices. Place is full of charm though. Just there are less expensive markets to shop in Richmond, they just arent as enchanting. (Country Vines Vineyard is right next to the farm) on the same property- still have yet to try it. Free wine tasting on Sunday tho. ;-) Cant beat that price. (wink.)
Great place to explore for sunflower festival.
Had fun will go again the tractor 🚜 ride was awesome
Always fun here. Great selection.fresh. if you have like animals check out the chickens, pigs, horses, and goats! Great parking late in day.
Amazing, we went here for the sunflower fest and we enjoyed it. They offered more than the festival itself, free corn, free blueberries, live music, train ride, wine tasting if youre into it, etc. Definitely worth the price we paid.
Huge! Did not expect it to be so big you need a wagon ride to the sunflower pumpkin flower patches. Did not come on the weekend so we missed out on the train ride and berry picking. Comparable to Krause but doesn’t have as many food choices (restaurant) or gift shop. Has a better market with an amazing array of produce.
Great place for locally grown vegetables. The pumpkin patch was a great place to spend time with the family. They have a tractor ride and train ride. Theres a live band and also food trucks too if you get the munchies. Chickens, cows, goats, ducks, horses and alpacas for the kids to see
Friendly staff, beautiful garden with lots of photo opportunities (flowers, picture frame props, big machines). There are animals there as well. The weekday pass included a tractor ride to the sunflower (with singing), and wine tasting.
Nice market with great looking produce, some healthy looking farm animals (chickens, geese, goats were there at the time), a small plant nursery with comparable prices and a little kettle corn stand. On the other side was a winery which we didnt visit. Everything was nice and Clean (Friday afternoon visit which wasnt too busy).
Beautiful, well laid out, COVID-19 precautions in place. It was an amazing collection of plants and sunflower 🌻 in particular.
Friendly staff and nice products. Boys love to come every season.
Been there for the Sunflower Festival...it was an amazing experience for me!I love flowers and I really enjoyed it...With train rides and wagon rides. and free corn freshly picked from the farm!
Our first visit to this place was the visit to the Pumpkin Patch. And it was a lot of fun. The place is very beautiful - animals go around, a wonderful pond, country singers sing country songs. Wagons bring you to the patch but while going the country singers entertain you. On the patch you can choose any pumpkin you like. Also you can buy fresh vegetables and fruit cheaper here than in supermarkets. This is a lovely place.
Farm fresh fruits and vegetables. Organic also available. Great little farmers market.
Nice little store selling variety of fresh farm products at very competitive price. Worth to spend some time shipping at this location.
The best local farm market very organized wit a lot of variety of products and good price.
Lovely place. Nice wine. The pumpkin patch was really nice. Good for a little break from the city.
Its great in the summertime, always lots of fresh selections
This a place were you can bring the kids to the petting zoo great locationAnd veggies are good and cheap
Some time a go there this time I went there to buy some corn that corn was very sweet very jumy
Another not so secret family farm, fun for all ages with roosters and chickens running along side...kids will love the live farm environment [dont forget to buy the Kettle Popcorn as you exit.. best in the business]
Love the chickens!
Spent more than 45 minutes in line to pay. Two couters open, 3 staff at each counter. So busy discussing their weekend plans that they were clueless the line to pay had reached the other end of the store.Never been this bad. Normally a good experience to shop with the variety of fruits and veggies.
A yearly event to get a pumpkin for Halloween and enjoy what the farm has to offer. Prices of food from the trucks is a bit steep but expected nonetheless. Has been incredibly busy both times, a place groups can go for a reasonable entrance fee. Will continue with our yearly tradition as the staff and owners are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Richmond Country Farms around Halloween for a unique experience worth gaining.
Came here for pumpkin patch in October. Very good experience for families. Kids 2 or younger for free, otherwise $14. Entertainment, live music, great settings, a lot of pumpkin to choose from. The only downside is the overpriced food ($10 for a regular poutine!!!), but rather than that, definitely recommended.
Nice end of summer visit
Great selection of veggies and fruit...locally grown. Awesome sunflower festival and pumpkin patch...
It was really fun. Adimisson fee is 14 dollars. It is worthy.
Fresh produce and some farm animals around makes this farm market a fun place to shop and visit!
Best and the cheapest place to buy the sweetest corn,. Great place for local grown vegetables and fruits and squash.
Amazing to enjoy the cultural tradition of pumpkin patch on halloween season. Lovely place! Theres also animals, corn, flowers, and options of places to eat. Choose a sunny day!
Too commercial. I’ve had bad experiences every time I’ve been there. Old stock and bad quality produce and pricy. The whole purpose of me going there defeats the purpose. Not my place to shop!
Always a good selection of fresh local and imported fruits and vegetables. The local corn is fantastic on the bbq
Winery was cool to check out. They are well organized. Lots of free range chickens wandering around.
