Great selection of middle eastern products especially meats. Ask about their fresh arrival of breads. The guys running the place are really cool guys. They also have pretty good food

I ordered my dinner last night which consists of the Lamb dinner and rice along with the Walnut Baklava desert for $2.99. The dinner looked great, but the Walnut Baklava was a tiny morsel. Now either the Door-dash person ate it or the restaurant is trying to rip me off. Either way I am afraid to eat the food. I am very disappointed. ????? Who would even consider eating someones delivery? Or why would the restaurant send out such a small portion and charge full price. Either way I the consumer has to pay for it.

I had a gyro there and it was good. They had a meat section with not much product but they had a big selection of herbs and spices.

Ordered over two hours before closing. They never prepared the order and left me and a dasher in limbo after they listed as ”being prepared!” Changed their hours without updating anyone just hoping no one would ask for a refund. Would’ve gladly picked up but was going on convenience, called twice no answer. Went to pick up before they closed and the store is closedAbsolute Bs business basis!

I grew up in the Middle East. You can get anything you enjoy from that culture and food here. Bilal, the owner, will give you seasoning tips and prepare authentic foods to be eaten there or take home. Lots of sweets and goodies for the kids. Hilal meat. Great service and prices. Like going back to my childhood every time I visit.

My family and I have been shopping here for years. Great Hookah selections and supplies, the best fresh Tabboulah I have ever tasted, fabulous hummus, best gyros. I love the grocery selection as well as well as spice selection. The staff are wonderful too.

Kibbah Maklieh was amazing, it alone would have made the trip worthwhile! Both the gyro and falafel wraps were so good... our son asked us to go back and get him another gyro wrap! Plus, the tabouleh was perfect and delicious. Very friendly people too!

Every time we eat here we leave happy! My husband gets the gyro and I get the chicken kebab plate and we share grape leaves. The owner is a great guy and we always feel very welcome. They also have a great assortment of food products from the Mediterranean/Middle East region. It’s so authentic and ranks top notch with some of the best foods we’ve eaten in the Mediterranean...and we can’t wait to visit again!

The customer service is awesome. I always feel welcomed when I shop here. The food is delicious, although they stopped selling the cubed lamb dishes and that was certainly a favorite of mine. Ive heard people raving over the fried chicken... I have yet to try it for myself as I always get a lamb dish.

Had the best authentic shawarma since living in Riyadh 30 years ago. Family who owns it are very nice If you like authentic middle eastern food then this place is a must. Its a supermarket with a small deli in the back. I will be driving from Maryland on a regular basis just to eat here.

I have been in here a few times and each time have had a great experience. They are always very welcoming and friendly. The made to order food is delicious and my husband loves the fresh halal meat options.

Food is made to order so there’s a bit of a wait but it’s worth it!! I ordered the falafel sandwich only, as it was my first time there. I’ve been trying to find the best falafel around and this is it for me! I will be returning for more!!

This market has been here for years. The owner is a nice guy and very welcoming from what I know. I really enjoyed my steak and cheese sandwich. Not too many halal eateries these days with good grub, especially in Richmond, so Im pleased to have this place as an option. 😋

Great place to get all kinds of middle eastern, Indian groceries. Bilal makes great gyros, hot chicken wings, lamb shanks and kebabs. I love the place.

Only ordered a burger. Bun was fantastic! Burger was good, too much salt though. Didnt have Kibbah maklich, will try next time. Gonna try again, lamb shank.

Really GOOD🤗 fresh cooked as well as shelf and refrigerated foods/groceries. And good prices. They also sell clothing and other non food items. They offer a small eat in tables and chairs section in the back of the store. And of course order and take out.

Great place to find many different ingredients for middle eastern cuisine and Asian. Fresh meat and they also cook great food. They catered for me in The past and there desire to please us was outstanding

I had been wanting to visit this store for a long time. I finally came to the store and was excited. My family are Hebrews and they sell items with no pork Ive been told (we are also minorities). Once I entered I saw an employee and asked him for help. He looked me up and down gave me a dirty look and said wait! Turned his back on me and walked away. I was hoping maybe he was talking to the person on the phone and did not realize I needed help. I followed him and said Sir I need help. He states I said wait! Dont you see Im on the phone He gave me a disgusted look. I stated you dont want me in your business and he continued to look me up and down. I cant believe how disgusting he was to me. I am not sure if it was the fringes on the border of my shirt or if it was that I am a minority but the face he gave me was like he was disgusted to see me in his store.

Great place for meats! Clean, large selection of groceries and the best rotisserie and fried chicken!!! Compared prices for rotisserie chicken, half the price of most stores and the taste is delicious!!!

This is a nice homey market where the owners are helping you personally. You can buy cooked or uncooked goods and the are fresh! They remember you like a good friend and what your likes are. I prefer this market to a supermarket with over priced processed foods! The quality is right on and the prices are very fair, most times beating the local supermarket chain prices. I will continue to shop here.

I’m used to buying Middle Eastern food in Northern Virginia where I have many choices of markets and bakeries to choose from. Recently I ordered hummus, tabouli, bread, kibbeh and olives for a party in Richmond, and was delighted that all of the food prepared by Jerusalem Market and Deli was as good or better than any I had tasted before, including home-made!

Absolutely wonderful! Fresh meat....really! A wide variety of middle eastern groceries and spices that are difficult to find or often overpriced elsewhere. Very friendly and professional service. Wish this place was closer to home but well gladly drive the 50+ miles for the quality.

I bought from them 3 three times. Each time there is something the first time I wanted Veal meat they gave me regular beef instead and it was frozen and very dry when I cooked it. And I asked them if The have falafel dough they gave some left over from the store in a used bag and was disgusting. One time I bought smoked turkey I wanted 1 pound they put 2 instead and one time they gave me smoked turkey that is bad. I dont recommend buying anything unsealed from them

I was surprised with the verity of items and Bilal was very helpful and good on customer service which is not typical in Arabic stores. He is not greedy the prices are the best in the area. Again Bilal surprised me with the superior customer service he provided .

These guys are lier. We purchased meat from this shop early March 2014. They told us all meats are halal. However, when we attempted to authenticate their halal certification; they told us they collect meat from As Salam, then when we called As Salam they confirmed us they didnt sell meat to these guys. Brothers who are looking for halal meat - DO NOT buy from these STORE, they are deceiving their customers selling non-halal meat as halal.

Delicious middle eastern fare of all kinds from kibbeh to shwarma to falafel. Clean and friendly. Not a lot of sit down ambience. Why go to Arbys or Subway when you could go here?
