Everyone from the service tech to the install crew are top shelf. They do clean, great work and you can tell they take pride in what they do. Never in a rush but also respectful of your time. Jason even dropped off a couple space heaters to keep my house warm until the installation. Great company and I have no reason to ever go anywhere else. Thank you!

Update: Paul came to help with plumbing and was extremely polite and helpful. He was clearly a master plumber and we feel very comfortable following all his recommendations!Zach, who helped with electric, and James, who helped with HVAC were both very polite, thorough and helpful. They explained their recommendations in a way that made sense and didnt make me feel silly when I asked what Im sure were very basic questions. We will definitely be asking for them to come back when we get more work done around the house!

Jonathan, the gentleman that serviced our system, is extremely patient, shows great respect and takes the time to answer thoroughly all questions. Extremely impressed with Woodfin as a company, and Caleb Johnson (Service Tech) in particular. Communications from the start were above and beyond normal expectations. I was called and informed the the tech was running a bit behind and his arrival would be closer to the end of the window I was initially told. This is unheard of in the services industry. Caleb and a Trainee were the best! Polite, knowledgeable, efficient, and informative. I was so impressed, I signed up for a maintenance program on the spot. Woodfin should be your very first call!

We had a problem with our nest smart thermostat. It wouldnt turn on the heat. Nick from Woodfin was out the very next day, rewired some programming and now, less than an hour later, everything works great. I went ahead with the annual service plan because it just makes so much sense and is very affordable. I appreciate you, Nick. You did a great job.

Johnathans main focus was to get my heating system up and running asap. Unfortunately he was given some incorrect information about yesterdays oil level in tank. Regardless he handled himself professionally with a very very frustrated client. He fixed the system and someone will return on Tuesday to fix a HVAC leak. IM WARM NOW! I have been using Woodfiin for years. I have a whole house protection plan with them for Electrical, Plumbing and heating and air. Their Technicians are always polite and helpful. I highly recommend them. Hunter Ayers was here this morning for my checkup on my furnace. He is a very nice young man as all the service people have been . Also very helpful. They have installed my heating system, air conditioner hot water heater, garbage disposal and many more things. I have never had anyproblems with their service.

Chris and Julian were highly respectful of my home and professional in every manner. They diagnosed and fixed the problems with my shower and sink in record time. I would recommend their services without reservation.There was one issue however that was no fault of their own. The company laptop had not yet been equipped to receive card payments, and they had to wait for someone to contact them before they could take my payment. It literally took longer to pay for the services than it did for them to be completed. This was not a major inconvenience on my end because both gentleman were pleasingly pleasant, but I can see how it would cause them to lose valuable time throughout the day if they had to go through that process multiple times.All in all, I still rate the service with 5 stars. I feel like my issue was handled by the best of the best. If it werent for COVID, I would have treated them to double high fives! Great job guys!!! And no, they didnt pay me for this review ;)

Bought a house that came with a fireplace for the longest time I had been searching for a company that services my area for just my fireplace. Called woodfin one evening, next morning they were out for a site visit. Which Gavin did an amazing job explaining how it would happen and the cost and options before I even committed to them. And Craig called said he was running early, which was GREAT NEWS, had the tank hooked up in no time, he even went as far as taking his shoes off before coming in the house to make sure it worked. And even helped me figure out what the random light switches were beside my fireplace. Even though I used woodfin for my old residence so glad I called them for my new one too.

Hunter and his helper (I did not get her name😩) did an amazing job! And helped get my family including two littles back on our feet by bringing the heat! Specifically they assessed what the issue was and ended up replacing the gas valve. ALSO Danyelle Annarino had me enroll in a heating system program that waived the visit fee and reduced my invoice by 20%, which might not sound like much but for an unexpected bill it was easier to swallow once I did the math for the cost without enrolling. So in the words of Danyelle the program was 100% worth it! I’ve heard great things about Woodfin previously, so now to have a testimonial of my own is even better!

Caleb Johnson did a phenomenal job! Our AC stopped working in the middle of August during a 90 degree week and Caleb came by within 24 hours to repair it. Had a problem with my HVAC system that was causing the thermostat to restart every time the heat came tried to come on. I called Woodfin and they came out this afternoon. Larry their tech was extremely professional and chased down the issue of a bad contactor. The charges were very reasonable and I was happy enough with the service that I signed up for a maintenance contract. I am going to contact them about switching my propane services on Monday. In today’s market, it’s hard to find quality professionalism amongst service/work men, but the gentlemen that come to my rescue during needed hours are always amazing and will forever have my business.

I contracted Woodfin to replace my non-functioning heat pump system. It had been installed more than 20 years ago and was configured horizontally, suspended from a ceiling. This was causing vibration noise as the indoor unit was mechanically connected to the framing of my house. When Keith, our tech arrived, he had to immediately get to work re-configuring our new install to get the best fit and efficiency. Woodfin provided plenty of support in the way of supervisors and extra techs dropping by, as well as delivery of new duct parts to ensure that the job was completed that day. I am very pleased with the outcome. Extremely quiet.

James did an excellent inspection and is very knowledgeable with my HVAC system. I will gladly have him back in the future for inspections and repairs.

Dan did an amazing and thorough job. He was very patient and ultimately figured out the issue that was leading to more issues. We had to schedule an appointment for the replacement of some major parts and thankfully they were able to send him back out to complete the project. We have used Woodfin in the past for electrical work. Corbin came out and provided an estimate for various items and we scheduled a later date to have the work done, and came earlier than anticipated. Corbin was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with any questions I had and did a nice job.

After dealing with another local propane log company for weeks and getting nowhere, I lucked out and found Woodfin online. I called them and they immediately set up a timely appointment with me. Jason Borden came to my home, took a few minutes to inspect my old (20yr old) propane logs, did measurements, and sat with me and the wife providing several log types and options (all Peterson brand which I had initially requested). We agreed with Jasons recommended logs/burner/remote and his quoted costs was very reasonable and competitive. We had to replace our aging a/c, it just stopped working. We had to wait 3 weeks to get our new unit, but to make it a little more comfortable for us while waiting, they offered 2 window air conditioners to help us keep cool. We were given a date a week in advance and 3 technicians arrived on time and began the job of installing our new hvac system immediately. The employees were great, polite, knowledgeable . They worked about 6 hours without a break until installation was complete. I was extremely impressed with their knowledge and professionalism. Woodfin is a great company. No need to call anyone else. Great pricing and plans.

Angelo Kelly & Diane Dodson…the dynamic duo! 🥇Angelo did an amazing job with my addtl camera install. Both were respectful of my property and respectful to my family. Angelo installed my camera in a position where the wiring would be challenging but he was able to work a miracle with Diane’s guidance. After installing the camera, Angelo patiently took the time to make sure all of our apps were working okay and that notifications were being received properly. He then changed all of our device batteries & tested all alarms. The new camera quality is beautiful & its position is perfection. Though this visit required multiple hours of Angelo’s time, not once did he complain or show any frustration. He simply demonstrated professionalism the entire time! I cannot tell you much how much I appreciate the services provided by both Angelo & Diane. Having, unfortunately, experienced an unprofessional Woodfin tech before & having considered alternatives, I can honestly say Diane & Angelo are the reasons I am still a Woodfin Security customer 4 years later! Please keep these two as they truly are the best of the best IMO & my preferred go-to when it comes to Woodfin Security. I called for A/C service the evening before a holiday weekend expecting to have to schedule something for after the break; to my surprise a tech showed up the next morning and fixed the problem very quickly. The technicians must attend a pep rally each morning because every trade employee I have encountered with Woodfin over the years has had excellent people skills and a vast knowledge of his particular field of work.I highly recommend Woodfin for the services they perform.

Tyler, Matthew, and crew were extremely polite, professional, and conscientious. They made sure their work was neatly buttoned up and attractive, and did everything they could to limit disruption. They were happy to work with me on little extra requests (like moving the outdoor ac unit over to make more room for a future patio), made sure to explain everything theyd done, and thoroughly cleaned up the area before they left.

Had to call Woodfin to have service techs come again and look at A/C condensate pump that started running near constantly just a few days after they came to check it for a similar issue. The same service techs (Nick and Nolan) returned and were just as polite, professional, responsive, and attentive to addressing my concerns as theyd been the during their prior visit... this time replacing the pump (which was still under warranty) and reassuring us that if we experienced any further issues to not hesitate to call them (Woodfin). Our family has been a long-time customer of Woodfin and we truly appreciate and value the professionalism, knowledge, customer-care and focus, and responsiveness of all their staff. Nick and Nolan did a great job for us and it was a pleasure to have them in our home.

Woodfin has serviced my oil furnace for over 15 years. Their service technicians are very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional! We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable service company.

Oh, Woodfin. You tried to scam over the wrong woman. I called Woodfin because our downstairs wasn’t heating properly. Woodfin told me my system was so broken that Id need a complete replacement for $10K-$20K. Long story short, nothing was broken it just needed a cleaning and I got my unit fixed by someone else for $100.Heres the whole story... Woodfin sent a technician out to provide standard maintenance on both units. After he serviced our upstairs unit, he informed us that our whole downstairs unit would need replacing. They said the compressor wasn’t working. To repair the compressor, it would cost $3K. And then the rest of the unit could still go bad. He recommended we replace everything for an estimated cost of $10K. He also said we really should get our upstairs unit replaced as well for an additional $10K. He tried to make it out like he was doing us a favor and kept pushing an offer they were currently running. I called my dad immediately who has been a machinist for 40 years. My dad met us at our house the next day when Woodfin sent out Josh Honeycutt. Josh was here to give us a final quote on what the technician diagnosed as the problem. When he got here, Josh was telling us information about our heat pump. My dad chimed in…. “That’s not the heat pump they have.” Josh then stuttered and seemed to sift through his files and then told us he didn’t have our report. Let me repeat. HE DIDN’T EVEN KNOW WHAT HEAT PUMP WE HAD and was about to quote me on the cost. We all then went outside. Within 5 mins, Josh was sweating. My dad was asking him question after question. Josh tried to back up the technician’s diagnosis and my dad quickly explained how it wasn’t even feasible that that was the issue. Josh admitted he didn’t know the technical stuff and quickly called for back up. My dad also pointed out Woodfin didn’t even clean our upstairs unit’s coils (even though we paid them $89, see pictures), left the refrigerant tab off, and even left the door open to our crawl space in below freezing temperatures. I got another person out here. $100 and my unit is working perfectly. It was just low on refrigerant and needed to be cleaned. Oh, and Woodfin told me to refill the refrigerant it would cost $200/lb. Again, I paid $100 to have it cleaned and have refrigerant put in and now my heat pump works like a charm. Woodfin tried to send out a senior technician in which I declined and got my $89 back because again, they never actually cleaned it.So, Woodfin, how are you going to have someone give me a final quote who doesn’t know how things work and who didn’t even have our file?I am intrigued to see customer service’s reply to this. I’m also excited to see how you respond to my complaint on BBB. You will not do this to other people ever again.Customer to customer advice. All these companies majorly mark prices of replacement parts. For example, our circuit board would cost $700 from a company like this. In reality, they can buy it for $65. Their mark-ups are ridiculous. If they say you need a replacement part, call up the manufacturer or do a quick Google search. See the real price. Don’t let them do this. And don’t use Woodfin.

3 techs Performed my service. Unfortunately the only name I can remember is Harley ! There were 2 other techs. They were all Awesome! Very professional Is, engaging with me, telling me, What they were doing every step of the way . They had to go up in the attic and I happened to mention it was probably gonna be extra hot because the attic fan wasnt working. Little did I know, When I woke up this morning I could hear the attic fan working ! So they took the extra time to apparently fix the fan for me ! They went above and beyond and were a great team . This is why I see Woodfin trucks all over the place ! Keep up the good work everybody and thanks again !

Trever did an excellent job. He fixed my water heater and quoted a good price to replace it due to its age. He also told me about their service plan that saves me more money. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Probably the best service call we’ve ever had.

Excellent customer service and explanation on how my in home generator operates.

We called Woodfin when our inline generator stopped working. A technician, Dalton, came within two days to diagnose the problem. He quickly found what was wrong, let us know how much the parts would be beforehand, and ordered the parts on the spot. Within a week and a half the parts were in and Dalton was back to fix the problem. He was very courteous and explained everything during the process. The only slight thing was for the second visit, my husband got a call that a technician was on the way but we werent aware that an appointment had been scheduled. Thankfully it worked out that he was available and we were eager to get the generator fixed. But glitches happen. All in all it was a very good experience and we will definitely use Woodfin again.

I called this morning to request a technician check my heat pump. Although it was working, it was not cooling as it should. The person that responded to my request was friendly and professional. I was pleased to find out a technician would be able to come by today! Less than two hours after I called I received a call from Phillip saying he would be here within 30 minutes. I received a text with a photo and bio on Phillip prior to his arrival. I found Phillip to be friendly, polite and efficient. The house was feeling much cooler before Phillip left. Brent was very thorough and patient as we had a few lights and electrical outlets not working in our home. We had considered getting recessed lighting but after Brent fixed and put upgraded new led bulbs in our old florence fixture there was no need for that and saved us a lot of money. We also had our panel box upgraded. We were really happy with our service as we felt it was deluxe. Fair pricing. Weve also had plumbing work done by this company. Placed a call for annual service and water leakage on inside A:C unit. Servicemen were in my driveway almost before I hung up the phone. They thoroughly explained what had to be done, did the work and were out in a very efficient manner.

Larry was so efficient. We had someone come out about a month ago and replaced something on our air conditioning unit, but had someone come back out last night (Larry) because I still didnt feel like it was fixed. Larry came in, took the whole unit apart and realized it needed to be cleaned. (Our unit is 11 years old.) It was near 8:00 when he arrived, but worked until the job was done. Highly recommend!

Richard was prompt and professional. He answered my questions and addressed my concerns about heat pump performance. He explained to be the meaning of several settings and listened to my needs so he could tweak the system for optimum performance. He made suggestions about optimal temperature and how to address icing of the unit if and when it occurs.

He answered so many difficult questions and guided my decision process better than I could have dreamed of. If you can clone Rodney, do it!
