Horrible service ordered 100 gallons of oil got a call from the company saying the driver couldn’t find the fill tube and asked me where to find. second phone call said the overflow tube was to small i told them the access door to the fill tube was on the ground and they would need to move the snow in order to see it. never heard back from them called an hour to check up only to be told the driver never went back and they never bothered to call me to reschedule.
Been ordering fuel from them the past two maybe three years and the service has always been great. I mentioned that I accidentally let the tank go dry tank go dry this time and they actually go a delivery same day! Thank you folks!
If I could give them no stars I would at this point. I have been dealing with this company for years; however, over the past several months anytime I have to deal with them it turns out to be an awful experience. Not only are the people in the office severely rude, they dont seem to have any knowledge or care about their customers. My superintendents have emailed Southside Fuel on several occasions only to not receive an answer for days or weeks. To top it off, I have distinct questions about invoices. In some instances the price quoted has been doubled. Very sneaky.I would definitely not recommend.
Our technician said hed arrive in the morning on a Friday. Around 2pm, he called to say he was arriving, but we didnt have anyone at the house anymore, so we rescheduled for 5pm that day. When he hadnt shown up by 6:30, I called to see if we needed to reschedule. At first he didnt even remember that wed had an appointment, then agreed to reschedule for some time tomorrow. When he finally got there, he realized we had run out of oil (yes, Im dumb and didnt check, but he didnt have to be condescending about it) so we tried to put in an order. The website states their Saturday hours are from 8-12. No one answered the phone at 8:30, so I ordered online and got a confirmation. Later that day, the tech said there was no record of our order so we put in another one and got another confirmation, but apparently there was no record of that order, either. To his credit, the tech wanted to help us out and deliver 10 gallons of oil and turn the furnace back on for us. He said it would be $108 and that it was a COD delivery. The price sounded a little high, but we were willing to pay if it meant getting heat back, so we asked if we should make the check out to Southside Fuel - at which point he said that we could just write the check out to him. Even if his intentions were good, thats really unprofessional and didnt seem safe, so we said no. We did finally get oil delivered that following Tuesday, but the people who delivered it didnt say anything to us and didnt mention turning our furnace back on, so now were looking at another service charge to get someone to come out and turn on the furnace (which was never mentioned in the fall when we ordered oil from them, so Im not sure why its an issue now). Basically, the whole ordeal was just one disappointment after another.
Never had any issues with them. They even left a free stick to measure how much oil is in the tanks.
Great service for home oil delivery and maintenance issues.
They charged me $186.00 for 50 gallons, added 20 gallons more was told I would be getting senior discount. Checked account 2 days later and found I had been charged $260 for 70gallons of fuel!!
