I brought in a new Husqvarna chainsaw (that was purchased elsewhere) because I was having a problem attaching and removing the clutch cover. I thought I was going to have to ship it back to Husqvarna for warranty repair and I needed to remove the bar and chain for shipping purposes. However, I couldnt remove the cover and feared that I might break it. I brought it in and showed Linda the issue I was having. She asked Devin to take a look at it. He was able to remove the cover and showed me how to attach it correctly. So no need to ship it back, he fixed it and they wouldnt accept any payment. I highly recommend Burchetts and they will get my business moving forward. Thanks Linda and Devin!

I needed a small fuel line on my blower. I happened to arrive right as they closed on a Saturday. They let me in, installed the part and when I asked the cost they said not to worry about it. It did not take long and was just a small piece of tubing, but that was really classy especially as they stayed beyond closing to help me out.

I purchased a new Husqvarna riding mower here and couldnt be much happier! The mower has run great through its first season. When they delivered the mower it had just a couple minor scuffs on some of the plastic parts, which they acknowledged on delivery and eventually replaced for me. The parts took a while to come in during the pandemic and all but they followed up and came out to replace them once they did. Mike, who delivered the mower and replaced the parts is a really nice guy, good honest folks in general to get a mower, repairs or maintenance from!

Customer service, respect and honesty is hard to find from businesses today. I purchased a riding mower and bagger from Burchetts and asked many technical questions about the equipment I purchased. I got honest answers and helpful answers to my questions. I even learned some new things too! It is refreshing that I have discovered this business and I am a satisfied customer. Thank you to the business and their employees for their patience, kindness and excellent customer service.

I can get parts for a Husqvarna Riding lawn mower. But I wonder if they sell other brands like Troy Bilt, need parts of for a TB110.

I took my Toro Pushmower for spring service. Told me 3-4 weeks. Ended up being 7 weeks. Had to borrow my neighbors lawnmover 3 times. Felt like other people were pushed before me.

Called around noon on 1/15/2021 to see if they repair gasoline powered Generac generators. Woman on the phone was very polite, explaining generators were being given priority. I took it in within the hour. I was received professionally at the counter. I explained the issue (wouldnt run in Run position, only Choke), she took notes and offered what they would likely find. I was called a few hours later to come pick up my generator! The mechanic came out to my truck while another man loaded my Generac RS 5500 in the back. The mechanic explained exactly how he solved my problem (a plugged carburetor jet and broken gasket) and how to avoid the issue in the future. He answered some of my questions about fuel and the fuel supply system. Everyone was accommodating and pleasant. My bill was under $90. I couldnt have been more satisfied. I usually dread dealing with any repair shops. Burchetts was a rarity.

I bought my new Husqvarna Zero-Turn Mower. Ive had problems with this mower. The staff here kept working on this mower until the problem was fixed. It turns out that the problem was faulty wiring from the factory. Since that was corrected this mower is a beast in the tallest and thickest grass. Nothing stops it. Of course, Men love their toys and I am already talking to them about my next beast which will be bigger and faster. There is no other company that I will consider for my mower needs.

I had the usual problems weed eater not starting. Dropped it off, I was told it would be about 3 wks out. I said cool no problem received a call 2wks later it was ready and the repair cost was reasonable. 👍

For all your small engine repairs. They replaced my chain saw chain in about 20 minutes. Saved me the time of learning how to do it myself

They are the distributor of Husqvarna riding mowers, tillers, chainsaws, leaf blowers,snow blowers & even small log splitters. Be careful to call before going to insure they have parts for your equipment. I found out after a wasted trip that the item I was looking for they dont even carry!! I guess I have to try & order directly from the manufacturer!!

Horrible customer experience and customer service. They told me 1-2 week wait, took closer to 3 weeks. They installed new blades on my push mower, but once I used it the height was way off - before having the new blades installed, the highest setting cut the grass about 4 inches tall, but with the new blades it now cuts about 2 inches tall AT THE HIGHEST SETTING - when I called back to request they look at it and fix it, the lady was incredibly rude and basically said nothing they can do. Glad I spent the time and money to have them render my mower useless - cant cut my grass at 2 inches tall and have it survive the summer. Would not recommend and will never be back.

They were supposed to diagnose the two mowers, but the initial diagnosis fee wasnt enough to do that, so they charged more without bringing it up. The manager felt it was more important to explain why I was wrong for thinking they should have communicated better. They also said theyd fixed one of them, but when I went to pick it up, there was still problems with the machine. I ended up fixing it myself... After paying them to get it back.

Staff was friendly and helpful. I went to four other places looking at lawnmowers. Burchett got my purchase.

I brought my fairly new power washer in to diagnose and repair as it wouldnt start. The friendly lady at the counter listened to my problem and asked if it was old fuel (30 days or longer) in the tank. I told her yes and she showed me how to check and clean the carburetor. I am going to try this tonight. This may save me a non-warranty covered expense and waiting to get it fixed. It that doesnt work, I will bring it back here. I like to give my business to companies who try to save the consumer when possible. I find them trustworthy when there is a problem they will need to fix.

Brought in my Husqvarna walk behind mower three weeks ago for repair, it would start then stop running. I was told it would be three weeks before they could look at it due to their workload volume. Exactly three weeks and one day later I was called and told it was ready, The carburetor main jet was clogged and they soaked and cleaned it out. The mower runs like new now. I am thoroughly impressed with this company. All personnel I had contact with were honest, friendly and courteous. Labor charges were reasonable. Burchett’s is now my “go to” for all small engine repair work. It’s refreshing to deal with a family run business that is on top of their game delivering excellent service with hard working, friendly and honest people!!!

I had taken a 15 yr old Echo weed eater and 1 yr old B&S push mower here about a month ago. Neither worked because I had left my teenage brother-in-law home alone to take care of my lawn and by the time I got home he had put reg gas in the weed eater and never could explain to me what happened to the mower, but non the less it wasnt working either after it had worked all summer long. I walked in and the gentleman behind the counter was on a call and was telling a customer that one of the techs just walked out on them and it was going to take longer to get their things back. He told them they would be happy to keep everything and they will be fixed but wanted to let them know so they had the option to come get them if they wanted to. Of course no customer wants to hear that when they walk in for the first time to do business but I really didnt have much choice. I had used Terrys down the street and last time I was in there those guys just rubbed me the wrong way so I wanted to try someone different. He told me up front it may be 4 weeks or so. They even let me come get a loaner mower the next morning so I could cut my grass. I got a call just over 3 weeks later saying everything was ready! Only small issue I had was that I didnt get a call beforehand letting me know what was wrong and what the price would be to fix; but knowing they were short handed that wasnt that big of deal. For all they had done I thought the price was fair compared to what anyone else would charge. Both weed eater and mower fired up with the first pull this morning with no issues. As long as these guys are around I dont see a reason to go anywhere else.

First time customer to get my mower tuned up for the season. Professional and helpful staff. Was called within a few days to tell me the mower was ready. Even received a discount for preseason tune up. When picking up the mower I mentioned the gas cap was hard to get tight and would sometimes leak. The technician looked at it and indicated he could replace the tank as the opening was oblong instead of round and this would be covered under the mowers warranty since the mower was under 3 yrs old. Left the mower so that could be fixed. Again called within a few days. Helped me load the mower in my car. Great customer service!Thank you.

Have enjoyed my transactions with them so far. Brought our mower here for service (I should have been more proactive and brought it in sooner!) and I expect their mechanic services to be exemplary as well.

1st of all takes them 3 months to get to even look at it .They say I have a battery issue when I bought the battery a month so they ago should I go ahead in replace the battery but instead of giving me the battery back so I can return it and get my money back they just keep it So not only him out of $80 for the 1st battery now Im out another $80 only a month apart . Then there excuse for not giving it back is I should have told him I want to keep the battery but how is that person know that the battery was even bad when I just bought it a month ago . So I ask the owner To give me a credit back Or even have of it back He couldnt do that So I believe he was very unprofessional And very shady you just dont tell a customer is S.o.l I would recommend going to Terrys small engine repair on hull Street

Every thing I own is husqvarna I bought a 572xp chainsaw from Burchetts for my chainsaw mill. I found I needed another smaller saw I bought the 455 rancher. I am very pleased with the sales personal. The ladies know the products very well. You tell them what you need and they hook you right up . they do not try to up sale you. I have used other small engine shops around Chesterfield and found they do not compare to Burchetts. Thank you for being top notch. A customer for life.

They repaired my Zero Turn Troy Built Mustang mower still under warranty after picking it up and delivering it back to my address in under two weeks, I was impressed by their service and repair time in this busy time of the year. This is my first time using them and definitely will not be the last.

I actually brought in my Honda self propelled mower for a spring tune-up and a few replacement parts. All good.

I brought our 42” riding mower from John a few years back and they have done all repairs and maintenance since purchase! The staff and John have been outstanding and very refreshing to work with on my mower! In fact plan on buying my next one from John!

Let me tell you about John and this amazing staff. When you make a purchase from them your getting excellent service at the sale and after. Now days everyone is about making a sale but no service afterwards. Not this staff always excellent service. I have been dealing with them since 2014 and they have my business for life.before buying from big box stores visit them in thier beautiful and stocked showroom.

Have spent over $3000 on equipment at their location. Service was great when getting my dollar. Now that my riding mower wont start I cant get a call back and thats if Im lucky enough to have someone pick up. I have borrowed a trailer to take in my mower twice in the fall. The mechanic couldnt start my mower when I came to pick it up. He jiggled some wires and got it running . Got home and wouldnt start again . Brought it back in again and got a makeshift fix. Same issue now in the spring and I cant even get in touch with someone to find a solution. I have called at least 10 times, have spoken with a receptionist twice and both times was told I would receive a call back. Nothing. Again, customer service was great when purchasing and taking my money but has been non existest since. BUYER BEWARE!!! Husqvarna is sold many places, choose the one that has the customer service.

Edited: Amanda from Burchetts contacted me by phone today and told me how Lowes had failed in its responsibility to include the previous repair ticket number on the new repair order. She sympathized with my level of frustration about my tiller not working. Seeing as she was decent enough to call me and explain the situation, I wont be taking anything to Lowes for repair anymore. The only reason I did this time was that I had the Lowes worthless extended service policy. In the future, if a piece of my equipment needs repair, I will take it directly to Burchetts even though it is 40 miles away from where I live.

This is one of the few places I trust to fix my small engines. Sure it may take a week or longer, but that is because they are so well respected and popular, they have a tremendous amount of work to do, especially in the spring and summer when everyone decides to get their mower maintained or repaired.

Recently visited the store with a friend to buy blades for his mower. They didnt have them in stock but ordered them. Meanwhile went to another shop that had them in stock for less than half the price. When asked about the difference in price. He was pretty much told to bad your stuck with them. Wont darken their door again

Not only are the people at Burchetts polite, they make sure all your questions are answered, they stand behind their products, and they make sure you have what you need and deliver on it. I recently bought a new lawn tractor that I had some issues with and they made it right with no qualms. Right on!

This place has the worst business practices I have ever seen. One staff member calls to tell me my mower work is covered under warranty. A few days later I get a call back stating I owe $140 and the mower is not covered under warranty. I cant believe they would NOT NOTIFY ME BEFORE doing all the work and sticking me with a $140.00 bill. The worst is that since they did the work without asking me, I cant even dispute the warranty with Briggs and Stratton for a full refund. Then on the phone call John tells me to just sell the mower and dont mention the problems you have with it. What does that say about that employees character...! Stay away from this place unless you like getting phone calls on how much you owe for work you never even approved..

The crew at Burchetts helped me out of a jam with my neighbors poor running Troy-Bilt mower. The Honda engine was surging terribly, so I ordered a new carb and all new gaskets for it. The parts came in quickly and I installed them in less than 30 minutes. The mower purrs like a kitten. It turns out that two gaskets were physically cracked. The air guide material was acting like a gasket, until it wasnt. Thanks for the quick parts turn-around.

Not impressed...bought belt ended up not needing it...was NOT special order...paid cash....receipt misplaced... its obvious the belt came from here and cant even return for even partial credit???? And NO record of a cash sale???? Really???? Wont do business here again.

Got a good deal on a lawn mower

Bought a new mower less than a year ago from them . Had to take it in for perforce issues . They told me it could be 4 to 5 weeks to look at it . I left a message after 2 weeks with no call back . I visited them and was told they are busy with only one mechanic . First come first serve is the policy. It doesnt matter if you purchased the mower from them or not . Only 20 hrs. on the mower and 3 weeks later its still at the shop. My question is why did I buy from Burchetts if any other repair is in front of my purchase from you as a dealer?
