Every time I come in here it’s a good experience, I’m always greeted as I come through the door, they do a great job of helping you out if they notice you searching for something but can’t find that exact think you’re looking for. They have probably one of the biggest in store selection of helmets I’ve ever seen, and they’re more than happy to help with fitting and testing them out. Great selection of a wide variety of products paired with a very attentive staff makes for a welcoming experience.

Went to Cycle Gear for a new full face helmet for me and my wife. We went there twice to shop for and try on helmets before deciding. Both times the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. 2nd visit we bought two helmets and they even helped us with getting the best price. It was a great experience and will go back in the future for motorcycle related stuff.

Sang was very helpful. He answered all of our questions. He explained about the different types of helmets, while helping my son to determine the size of helmet required, to fit comfortably. Sang then explained about the different types of material, use of and perfect fit of bike gloves. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I went in for a pair of boots. Unfortunately the choices were few. I dont blame them for not getting what I wanted because I waited until the day before I needed these boots to go buy them. I did end up getting a pair of great boots though. So in the end it worked out. I also wanted another pair of gloves and again, the choices were few. The moral of the story is dont wait until the last minute to buy the gear you need. But I still feel they should have been a bit better stocked, hence 4 starts instead of 5.

Excellent customer service. I purchased a Bluetooth system and was guided throughout purchase on which system was preferable to my application to instructions on operation. Only negative from experience was that I specifically chose Labor Day weekend to visit thinking there would be an abundance of items on sale. This was not the case, and felt like any other visit I’ve had to Cycle Gear in that respect.

I usually avoid chain stores, but I have come to not only really appreciate Cycle Gears deal, but their people and service make all of the difference for me. Not sure what it is about some local motorcycle shops, but they sure find a way to hire a lot of people with a bad attitude. I have seen it way too much. Yet every single person I have dealt with at Cycle Gear has been helpful and eager to help. Its much appreciated.

Great service, Dalan was super! I was on a trip and needed to replace front tire. He had one in stock that was one size wider than stock. I brought wheel in on Friday afternoon, he called in about an hour, it was ready.

We walked in and we were greeted immediately. Someone came to help within the first few minutes. He helped us pick a dirt bike helmet for my kiddo and was very knowledgeable on how it should fit/feel. My kiddo was super happy with his birthday present!

The Richmond Store has been a good experience for me. Denise, the store manager, is super friendly and took the time to talk me though several helmet options on a busy Saturday. The staff there has also been helpful when I had questions as a relatively newish rider.

The staff and the items there are great. I went in and they helped me find the right tank bag and phone mount I needed.

I got a great coat from them. Being a first time motorcycle owner, the saleswoman (Denise) was helpful and honest. She didnt try to sell me a bunch of gear. She told me the basics that I would need. Also, since they didnt have boots in the size I needed (13EEE) she directed me to a shop that did have what I needed. Ill definitely visit Cycle Gear again.

Cycle Gear was a pleasure to deal with. I had a return without a receipt, however they looked it up and found it in their system. They were so polite. I would recommend them to anyone looking for cycle products.

I walked in and told them I have a small head and a boyfriend with a bike that I want to get on. They took the time to help me figure out the right size and shape for a helmet. Worked within my price range and plain preferences. And even helped me find something to work with my glasses. The man that assisted me was super respectful and helpful even when I started looking at jackets. Im always hesitant in more male dominated places, but I felt comfortable here and welcomed even with not having any experience. It was honestly an all around great experience. I will definitely be going back here if I need any other gear.

Huge selection of riding gear, tons of helmets, jackets, gloves, pants, and boots. Good selection of basic maintenance parts, tires, bike covers, and some luggage options. Another plus is tons of stuff on their website with free ship to store. Add a knowledgeable staff and a clean store. I really cant say anything bad about them.

My first experience at cycle gear was a great one from the moment I walked through their doors. You are greeted politely and they all answer any questions you have and if they dont have an answer they make a phone call to give you one. The staff at Cycle Gear are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I’ve never been “hard sold” or inappropriately upsold. Their inventory is sometimes a little low, but they will use their website to make sure you get exactly what you need as quickly as possible. I got great advice on my last visit and am eager to try the cleaner I bought. They are my “go-to” place.

We visited because of a recommendation RE: Helmets. Were we ever pleased to see a whole wall of hundreds of helmets to choose from!We were warmly greeted and immediately began searching for the size and style of helmet that we were looking for. I was very pleased that staff was very cost conscious and did not insist that we look at only the most expensive models - instead, they noted our list of desired features and found our size, then focused on the brand that was most suitable for us. I need to point out that sizing depends on the model, so a large in one model could be an extra large in another brand. Staff worked with us for at least an hour! As it turned out, my wife selected one of the helmets off the shelf and I needed one shipped to me which arrived in 2 days!I was caught off guard when they asked if either of us had served in the military and were pleasantly surprised by the discount I received for my previous USCG enlistment!We just finished a 400 mile jaunt with our new lids and couldnt be happier.

Went in to get a neck protector for my 6 year old. I called ahead of time where Emily confirmed they had the two options I was considering in stock. She proactively offered to put them to the side as they were the only ones in the shop. When I got there, Emily gave us quick assistance and even set our son up on an electric bike to test his mobility with the neck roll while wearing a helmet. She was professional, friendly, and easy going!

Facility was easy to find and the store was organized and clean. I just had an issue with the fact that there was a lady talking to other customers not really sure if it was store related or not. I had to wait for her at the register to finish talking to not even be helped by her. Someone else came to help me and I just didn’t feel like me as a customer mattered. Customer service could have been better. I walked and walked around looking for what I needed and she didn’t offer to help me find anything just talked to the other customers.

Me and my girlfriend went into the the store to browse motorcycle helmets. I asked him for help picking a helmet. But he just measured her head and was just chatting with another customer. He also just said small or medium without helping her try on the helmet or go over his favorite helmet etc. I much prefer another store in the city of Richmond.

They price matched an item we were looking for, and saved us a lot, which helped us be able to buy a warranty on the system we bought, which if we had bought it online it would have come with that! I rode in just to look around. I wandered around the store, and Denise asked if I needed any help. I showed interest in a bluetooth device for my helmet. After I told Denise what I needed, and what my options were, I chose a Cardo Freecom 1+ and after paying for it, Denise installed it into my helmet and I was on my way. Id like to say that Denise was helpful and not pushy trying to steer me to a more costly device, she did her job by asking me how I planned to use it.

The staff is friendly but I purchased a 12v power outlet for my motorcycle.it didn’t come complete meaning the part that connected to your battery wasn’t included. They should’ve known this and I could have bought it when I was there. Now I have to make time to drive 39 miles to buy the other piece. I expect the staff to be more knowledgeable about what they sell to help out customers like me.

This store was bad. I bought a new Bluetooth pack talk bold for 300 or so. I wanted it installed in my new arai xd4. Silly me to think they would know how to install equipment. He was the only one working there and could have just told me he didn’t know what he was doing with $1000 worth of equipment. He installed the speakers in the wrong spot and it ended up jabbing into my ear. He wired it wrong and also forgot to wire in the microphone. I ended up having to take it all apart. Save yourself the time and buy online or go to a different store

I went to the all leather motorcycle gear store near here, but found better leather vests here for my purposes.I found the customer service to be friendly and fast. I dig the atmosphere in this store. Theyve got gear for every motorcyclist, no matter what you ride.I was looking for a thick millimeter vest with gun pocket that will last a lifetime, and I found it here with the Street and Steel vest I purchased - phenomenal quality!
