Took my Yamaha XSR 900 for a front tire change and it was done well and back to me in a few hours for a reasonable price for a wheel removal and tire replacement. Good location right near the Glenside exit off of I-64. It does take a while to get an appointment but thats true of all shops in March of 2021 so call early. They do not accept owner-purchased parts other than tires.

My familys first experience with Seasoned Cycles was about 4 years ago and we know we dont need to go anywhere else for our bike needs. Seasoned Cycles is family run and their workmanship, dedication to community, and values has gained my loyalty. Ernies mechanical skills are hands down, on point and Kellys friendly care in the office feels homey. I know that I am getting great work done and not being ripped off. From general maintenance to building us a bike- Seasoned Cycles! Great business and great family!

I have been taking both of my Harley’s to seasoned Cycles for A few years now. The first time I met Ernie I knew I was at the right place. I had issues with my 96’ fatboy. He was able to get her straight and I would highly recommend anyone who needs anything done to any make or model bike to take it to these fine folks. Not only are they Family owned and personable, they stand by all they do. no matter how busy they are they will find the time to listen to your concerns and they will give you their honest opinion on what to do. And will go the distance to figure out any issue that you have.

My husband Derek took his 2018 Indian Scout Bobber in to replace the factory tires which were worn down and not great quality. The owners Ernie and Kelly treated us with so much respect and a great knowledge base for the motorcycle. The price was extremely fair for parts and labor and they ended up recommending a great set of tires that are much better than the ones that come with the original bike. They had convenient hours and were able to work on the bike promptly and allow us to pick it up and drop it off after hours. Will definitely be coming back for continued maintenance and advice! Thank you!

The folks at Seasoned Cycles are the type of honest, knowledgeable, and hardworking people you need to know if you have an old bike. Theyve done several significant jobs on my 78 Kawasaki over a few years, and I never question where to take the bike if it needs something done. They know the bike and care about it as much as you do, which makes their work as good as it can get. Theyve done everything from rewiring the bike to replacing the top end, and Ive always been so impressed with the quality of work and appreciative of the honesty of Kelly and Ernie - they wont fix whats not broken, but they also will make sure to do what needs to be done for the longevity of the machine. I look forward to taking my bike back to them for any future work because I know I wouldnt get that kind of value for my money anywhere else.

I can tell Ernie took his time fixing my bike and the estimation process was very fair. They took the time to explain where they may have overestimated the time for labor and how the price may go down according to the actual labor involved. It did! Such an honest mechanic! He even did a bonus cosmetic repair because hes THAT caring. As I picked up my bike, they made sure to point out the upcoming care tasks I needed to be aware of after a certain number of miles (just like a conversation with your doctor post-operation). This is a level of courtesy that sets Seasoned Cycles apart from other mechanics.

I was very pleased with the work Ernie did on my bike! My bike was in and out in two work-days and Ernie made a special effort to keep costs down as I was getting a tune-up to get my bike running great to sell. Had front and back tires replaced price kinda high. Belt wasnt put on with correct tension had to take bike back. Called to check on status was told by female that answered the phone that they were working on it and that she would go check on the status and call us back. We waited 20 minutes with no returned phone call. I then called backed for my husband and a male answered the phone I then announced myself and that I was checking on the status of the bike. The male that answered was very rude and said you just called here ten or fifteen minutes ago and you were told then that you would get a call when it was ready. I then told him no that was not what I was told. I then told him a female told us she was on speaker that she would go back and check on it and call you back. We wanted to know if the bike was ready because we were on that side of town and didnt want to be driving around all dayand didnt want to be driving around all day. Like the rude and very un- professional male that answered which I was told was the owner himself said you called here ten to fifteen minutes ago its bad when it takes you ten to fifteen minutes to walk back get an update on a bike repair that your place of business caused and you could not call us back as the female that answered said she was going to do. They are rude and unprofessional and I will not be returning for them to mess up another repair when I can get work done on the same side of town that I live on.

Bottom line, they care about your bike as much as you do. Ill be taking my bike back to Seasoned Cycles for future service. My 78 Kawasaki has seen more than a few owners, and each fancied themselves as hobby mechanics. The folks at Seasoned Cycles took in the bike and essentially righted the wrongs done to it over the past 40 years. Theres nothing they didnt know how to handle and updated me along the way.Personable service, honest pricing, and full transparency about what they think the best course of action is. Didnt do anything without asking me. Took a while to get the bike back, but good work isnt quick and I prefer knowing exactly whos working on it and what theyre doing. Hopefully they can expand in the future to a bigger shop with more mechanics

I was supposed to do vinyl siding on my house until i heard a noise in my Super Glide that I didnt like. By this time I had known Ernie and wife Kelly maybe 2 years. In that time I talked to Ernie a lot and came to the realization that he was not just some guy that had a pipe dream about opening a bike shop. His knowledge of everything on 2 (and sometimes 3) wheels is only surpassed by his obsession with the highest quality of repairs and customer satisfaction. I learned this when him and his father, motorcycle mentor, tore my engine down and showed me what the stealership had done wrong and not done at all on the 103 upgrade. I never gave it a second thought when I told him I wanted it corrected to HIS standards. We discussed options and some extras and both of us got kinda giddy about what was to come. Then, I left him alone. I didnt call or drop by because I got updates of progress and pictures via text when the parts came in. About halfway through the project I just gave Kelly my credit card to streamline the ordering process. The result gave me goosebumps. To this day when I start the bike in the garage to warm up and hear that lumpy idol I giggle like a 12 year old girl. The follow up service was fantastic and thorough. On top of all that I made new friends which for me is an added bonus . Now I have to decide between vinyl siding or let him work his skills on the Road King. I have spent a lot of money with these folks and dont regret a single penny.

Met Ernie, owner of Seasoned Cycles 3 years ago while dealing with an electrical issue with my HD. He took a genuine interested in solving the matter, I was impressed with his dedication to his craft. I have now trailered both my HDs all the way down from Northern Maryland the last two years in order for him to look them over before the riding season. He is up front with his recommendations and the cost for repairs. I have never been surprised and I have not been disappointed. I have recommended Seasoned Cycles to two co-workers and they have been pleased. I would strongly recommend Seasoned Cycles to anyone in need of cycle service.

Fairly pricey but they are helpful and laid back. Note their storage fee policy before dropping off, they dont hesitate to charge you a per diem if you cant make it out to pick up your ride inside of a week - dropped mine off Wednesday, work was completed Friday, they were going to start charging me $10/day to store it there if I didnt come get it the Wednesday after (1 week after I dropped off, 2 days after work completed.) Had to scramble to get it on Tuesday before a week long rain came. Understandable but to me that seems harsh. Ernie was friendly and helpful; the $90 they charged for the 50-point inspection was worth it as he obviously went over the bike very carefully. The ~$200 labor price to mount and balance 2 new tires was perhaps a bit much, though. If I had to do it again Id go elsewhere for relatively low-skill maintenance work and maybe go to Seasoned Cycles if I had a serious/difficult mechanical or electrical issue as that seems to be their specialty.

Called this place for a tire change for my Bemmer . I got quoted a price of $240 for the front and $180 for the rear. I have the tires, this was just the labor for wheel removal, tire change and balance. Pulling the rear is a five minute job, front is a fifteen minute job. Not everyone who rides a Bemmer is an idiot. Pulled both wheels myself, bought balancing beads for $30 bucks, $40 apiece for the tire change and a half hour of my time. Net savings $300. I was told you have to remove the front fender and a whole lot of other BS and Im actually using standard tools not pneumatics and I replaced my front disk pads at the same time. Hate rip off joints.
