Dropped by while down in Richmond to get an estimate for a new exhaust on my 1964 Chevrolet C10. Tim gave me a very reasonable estimate and he was able to get me in for service in 2 days. The work was done professionally and fast. My truck was in and out in about 3 hours. I will definitely bring my truck back for servicing.

The only place I bring my car to, everyone is kind here and as someone who knows nothing about cars, I really appreciate not having to worry about being ripped off by anyone. This place genuinely cares about making sure my car is safe, and I highly recommend this shop to anyone with a car!!

I cannot say enough good things about this shop and the staff. Its not easy to find someone to work on a 65 Galaxie and even more difficult to find someone who knows how to work on them. Tim did exhaust work for me in one day. Then he put a new carburetor on just as quick. All the staff has been so pleasant to work with. I will be bringing all of our vehicles - not just the Galaxie - here from now on.

The owner is not going to tell you that you need something done unless you actually need it. And if he thinks something will be a problem later, hell tell you that too. Ive been taking my car to him since I first moved here. Ive had mechanics attempt to fleece me in the past, this shop will not. Yes you will pay for good service but thats how it is. Quality service is worth the money spent and my car (2007 Dodge Magnum) has been in good shape as a result. Ill always recommend Headlights to Tailpipes to anyone who asks.

Absolutely amazing place! I needed an expensive repair done to my car after it failed inspection. This place was recommended to me and I asked if I could schedule a time for an estimate. I was able to get an estimate and the repair done the same day for a fraction of the cost the dealership quoted me. I don’t know much about cars, but I have no reason to think the work wasn’t high quality. Super, super nice and welcoming people! I hope I don’t need repairs like that again, but I know where to go if I do!

This is the best shop Ive ever found. everyone who works here is lovely. I see other reviews complaining about labor costs-they are not ripping people off, theyre doing hard work and I completely trust them not to recommend unnecessary repairs. they let you know what repairs might be on the horizon but dont need immediate attention. being able to trust them and knowing theyll give me a heads up allows me to plan for making repairs to keep my car safe and running! I love this place! cant recommend highly enough!

Watch the labor rate!$$$ As much as the dealership!! Make sure they dont charge you a diagnostic fee$$$ if they are performing the work!! How many times have you had to take your vehicle in to them in one year? 5 times or more and, its a set-up!!$$If youre paying over 1k-3k a year on repairs, its better to make a car payment on a certified vehicle that lends you a free rental!Theyre a great shop the 1st to 2nd year, but after that they know your car and how to tinker with it. If you have an oil leak, make sure when a NEW part is replaced that they CLEAN OFF THE OIL!!! If not, it will cause damage to the WHOLE serpentine/drive belt!! Thank God I took it to Pep Boys to check my fluids!! Pep boys saved me a HUGE expense!! It was an accident waiting to happen!!!

Dang it - i was hoping people wouldnt review this place - b/c now everyone will get their cars fixed here. But I owe to Tim and the crew this review. This is, bar none, the best shop we have ever taken our cars to - and weve had long relationships with good shops. Trust, service, quality. Case in point, I was even in there when a mechanic was hitting Tim up for a position and there was a moment when the would-be candidate was touting some industry standard that incentives more repairs per order. Tim was adamant that he was not that sort of shop. They are awesome.

A real treasure for the Bryan Park area. They do an excellent job and are always friendly. Honest quality auto servicing is hard to find, so we are incredibly fortunate to have this shop in the neighborhood. Its the only place I take my car for servicing.

Very open to all kinds of work. Last year I got a simple muffler delete done on my e46, they seemed excited to work on the car and when I checked the results for myself they did a killer job, some of the nicest welds Ive seen. Im definitely planning on going to them to do a full exhaust set up in the future. Pricing and turnaround time is also great, I really cant say enough positive about my experience!

Got a custom true dual cat back system done on my older Tundra pickup here. Called Tim like a week or two ago and talked about what I wanted done. Came in today when they opened with no appointment and he had the whole system done in 3-4 hours. Sounds and looks amazing and pricing is perfect. Amazing work done and in amazing time. Turned my wimpy sounding V8 into a mean sounding rig.

Tim is top notch!I broke down coming from work.I have 95 Buick Roadmaster and the distributor went out.I had it towed to him....he was looking at it that evening!He fixed it in a day and a piece!My car runs beautifully and am saving roughly $25 a week in gas!Thanks again,Tim!

I was recommended this shop from a co-worker. I had an exhaust leak in my 11 JSW and was not sure where it was coming from. I did some research and found that people with the 2.5 motor can have problems with the flex pipe. I called, got pricing for repairing a single flex pipe and thought the pricing was very reasonable. The following day I dropped the car off around 8:30am. Within one hour I received a call that the car was ready - I was shocked! Turns out the problem was not with the flex pipe but rusted out section of connector pipe. I ended up spending more than half of what I was expecting. Im leaving the 5 star review because the work was prompt, the price of repair, the customer service, and most importantly the honesty. Thank you.

Today I was making a deliver to one of my customers on Hermitage Rd. My cars battery died and I needed a jump to get it started. I walked up the street to Headlight To Tailpipes repair shop and asked if I could borrow there portable battery booster.Tim said no problem and let me borrow the booster and as I was walking back to my car it dawned on me he trusted me a total stranger with a very expensive piece of equipment. When I got my car started I drove back to his shop and returned the booster and got a chance to talk to Tim for a few minutes.Hes a small business owner like me and were both craftsmen and take pride in what we do for a living. Its refreshing to know that the America small business spirit isnt dead and their are still lots of hard working honest and trusting people like Tim Gray.
