This place is wonderful if youre looking for unusual off-the-wall stuff. I definitely come here for my anime or Disney things. They even have Lore Olympus merchandise! I was absolutely floored. Well definitely be coming back at some point.

Pretty good store with lots of selections, if yourrcresdingvthis you probably already know about hot topic, so this review shouldnt sway you much, but if you like anime, or all things edgy, youre looking in the right place

The staff has always been great whenever I go. Product selection is mostly pop culture, but there are some great goth/punk gems to be found. Luckily, its easy to buy online and ship to the store, so no worries there. Very pleased with my visits!

SMALL, CROWDED STORE! Had to bump elbows to actually get by. Prices are HIGH for novelties. USE COUPONS or HOT CASH! Employees were nice, but constantly busy.

I asked a question to the cashier and something interjected itself and said that my question was inappropriate. So I asked for a manager, It was a manager, but couldnt answer my question of why do they only support Active. Ownder/Manager didnt care to respond either! Petty I am, I returned all the clothes I got, called the website and ordered all my kids clothes and more - WITH MILITARY DISCOUNT AND FREE SHIPPING!! This store does not support Veterans and their families they only support Active soldiers and their familes. This is an insult to our Veterans that paved the way and fought for the liberties we have now! OWNER, YOU ACT LIKE YOUR STORE WILL CRUMBLE WITH A COUPLE PENNIES OFF! We know its not a big chunk discount, nonetheless, your store dont support my family, we dont support your store! AND WELL AWARE THAT YOU GOVE ZERO....

They have some really cool stuff but they are still making you stand in line to get in even though most restrictions have been lifted.

Deffinately not the hot topic I remember when I was a kid. I guess maybe the scene died completely or Spencers just became what hot topic used to be.

20 person max in store yet have employees standing around taking and sitting in the corner drawing. If your going to continue with covid restrictions after multipul have been lifted then manage your staff accordingly.

Theyre always super helpful and polite. Their social distancing protocols made me feel safe and comfortable.

Great employees nice atmosphere

Been here twice within 2 weeks and have had to wait an unreasonable amount of time to get in. First time my friend and I waited so long that we decided to leave second time i waited for someone to come to the door because you could see there was only a couple of people in there no one ever came to the door so I left. This is a terrible way to do business someone should stay at the door like Victoria secret and bath and body works does so no business is lost because no one is paying attention to someone waiting outside.

Love hot topic and general but I specifically love the employees here. Ive been to this location several times and I have a good conversation with the cashier every time. Excellent service and they CONSTANTLY have sales going on which is great for my wallet because God knows I always want to buy like twelve things. 10/10 would reccomended!

The staff here are friendly, and will help you find stuff youre looking and will get things that are out of reach for you. They also are willing to order stuff you want, if they dont have it in the store.

One of my favorite stores to go. They always have deals and discount going on. The workers are always friendly and accommodating and helpful. The only con I can think of is that things are often unorganized or hard to find. This last week nu sister and I went to just look at stuff and look at the Funko Pops and they so disorganized that it made nearly impossible to find the one we were looking for. Outside of that it was a great experience and no matter where I go I tend to stop by at least hot topic every time I go to the mall

Employees are always super nice and willing to help you find anything youre looking for, and will even help you order it online if they dont have it in store. Theres plenty of merchandise for anyone and everyone, and a lot of fandom-related content for any pop-culture fandoms that are relevant.

Furious. I am expecting a baby this weekend so I planned way ahead, first week of May, and ordered a few gifts for a 13 year boy to be delivered to this store. I could purchase a few more small things to go with the birthday gifts, when I went to pick up pre-ordered overwatch items. I didnt hear anything from them and when I kept checking the website the purchase said shipped and not delivered. Finally May 20th, I made 3 separate calls to this store during business hours and no one picked up. So I reached out via email to customer service, they answered apologizing for the store not contacting me, and that my order was shipped back to the warehouse, so they would refund me. I responded, please dont send it back, I need the items as a gift. No response. I email 2 more times and never received a response. I am forced to never buy from Hot Topic again because of the way they treated this situation, and I will definitely go out of my way to tell others not to use them.

Except for when Im shopping for Gauges in a 3/4 its very hard to find...the larger sizes seem to be extinct. The one in Chesterfield Towne Center seems to only hire White People.. Ive never seen a person of another race work there and they seem to never ever be hiring!!! 😡 My best friend put in an application a year ago and they told her they werent hiring and when we went in to buy jewelry the had 2 new white guys working who were new... Smh... Virginia Center Commons is better!!!
