This is by far the best record store I’ve ever been to. He has a great selection of metal, punk, and everything else. The owner is very friendly and will help you with finding new music or helping you track down certain albums.

I thought I left a review a long time ago. Donald knows his music and has an impeccable collection. Goes to great lengths to procure odd items for us. Every town deserves an old school record shop like Block Head Records.

I took alot of my late grandfathers records here, and he really took his time looking through them. I had a good 50 or more and he did find interest in some. I wasnt planning on trading, however he has an extensive CD collection and he spent a good 30 minutes with just me trying to find some music I like to trade for the records. Once again, I had not planned on getting anything but cash. However Im glad I did, because I came across some music that I love. Made a really good trade in my mind and got some records out to people who can use them. Lastly I will say he is very knowledgeable with music and records. Thank you

Small, but to the point. Not a huge variety of used records, but for a neighborhood store it’s as welcoming as you’ll find a in small town in Indiana. I bought a Marantz amplifier for a better price than you’ll ever find online and the quality of my music-listening life has improved dramatically. Good people that like good music and want you to enjoy it too.

Awesome place! There is a huge variety of music. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Im just getting into vinyls and he hooked me up with a stereo and speakers when I purchased a record player. He ordered vinyls that werent in the store, and they arrived the next week. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to start their collection or expand it!

This place is an awesome little record shop! They have a lot of newer bands which is cool but they have or can order pretty much whatever you want plus the staff is super cool.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Owner stole money from my friend. Gave him a 10 for a $3 vinyl. He gave him back 1.85 in change. He said he only got a 5 dollar bill. Confronted him, but was never gonna get anywhere since he’s the owner.

Great small Record shop that carries tons of rare and hard to get vinyl! If your looking for Punk to metal or even classic rock and pop they could have it. If you are a serious collector or just starting this is a great place to begin. I found the prices reasonable and the owner very knowledgeable, also if its not in stock they will try to order it for you.

Top notch selection and service. If Block Head doesnt have it, they will find or order it for you. New, used and buys single records, tapes and cds or whole collections. This is the last true record store in the area, come check it out.

Was recently told about this shop. Dont know how I missed this place for so long. Shop had a great mixture of genres, owner was really helpful and personal, definitely worth checking out if you are looking to get your first record or add to your collection!
