I had a similar experience as a recent reviewer about Christian and the store manager. They were very helpful and speedy. They work well under pressure as I had many loose objects to box and ship and then a flood of folks came in afterwards. They handled everything with professionalism and friendliness.
Christian and Dawn were outstanding! They worked together very well. Were extraordinarily friendly and speedy. I was worried about dropping off so many packages, but I was in and out of the store in no time.
I give them 5 stars for customers service excellence! The manager was very helpful!
Tammy is amazing! We needed same day printing for wedding bulletins and not only was she friendly and knowledgeable, she calmed down a stressful situation over the phone AND in person. The preacher’s copy didn’t turn out right (our fault) so she kept at it, working with the margins on the computer until she got it right. All hail Tammy, Wizard of Word and Master of the Margins! Thank you so much!!
Tammy saved our butts! We credited her in the wedding toast for being fast and effective. If similar service occurs during the baptism, we may have to christen the child after her.
The staff is always very helpful and respectful for any printing or shipping Ive had to do over the last several years. Most recently, thank you to Miss Tammy who helped me with a printing job that was being particularly stubborn.
The mask mandate is over guys. Policing your patrons in lieu of helping your customers is a net zero gain.
I called to ask a question on a topic I was hoping someone would be able to help me with or at least help me understand. A woman named Tammy answered the phone and was so unbelievably rude, it honestly took me by surprise. I have used this store in the past for my business and going forward I will NEVER give them my business. If you want to be treated horribly go here otherwise I suggest going ANYWHERE else.

Absolutely wonderful store. I had some very time-sensitive packages with the wrong labels on them, and I called to see if there was anything that could be done to fix my problem. Christian was able to calm me down and solve my problem within an hour. So grateful!
This location is tediously petrified which seems to make them slower and more ineffective than any FedEx store I have ever used.
After having to leave Staples empty handed, I headed to FedEx for custom printing. I should have gone to FedEx first because they were so helpful, professional and could get my print job done next day! Great location and friendly staff!
If you want great service with intelligent staff, then avoid this FedEx location. Im the president of a company that has been utilizing FedEx Services for over 12 years. Ive never had such a terrible experience. Im not one to leave reviews, but I felt it was absolutely necessary in this case. Ive scrolled through reviews eager to see what others had to say and apparently, Im not alone. Especially when it comes to staff member Miss. Marie. I only had several phone interactions with this staff member and I was completely amazed at how poorly she treats her customers. The gentleman that I sent to the location actually spoke with her face to face and was the one to advise me to never use this location. I didnt believe the interaction he had until I had to call and speak with her myself. She was ridiculously rude and spoke over me every moment I tried to ask for her help. The condescending tone and complete absence of professionalism, paired with her defensive attitude is a clear give away that she was over compensating for her lack of intellect and lack of respect for others. Management needs to seriously step up their game. Either way, my business wont be using this location. Congratulations Marie, youre costing this business its customers.
I’ve always had great service here, and they complete my projects usually in a day or two. Professionally done and hassle-free. I have not had a bad experience with them in the past few years! They deserve a positive review at least for my needs.
Fed Ex conducts and supports Forgery and Insurance Fraud Dont Use.Sent a computer, insured it with signature confirmation. Tracked it and saw was delivered. Called the recipient my 70 year old mother; and she looked and found it outside. The tracking stated that a signature was taken. The driver signed her name. Called the store that directed me to customer service....30 mins on hold and nowhere online to reach out . Called the store back Asst. Manager said they only take the money it goes into someone elses pocket. The manager agreed this was serious and also agreed to meet me the next day to refund the cost of the insurance. Next day I called to make sure he was there and he gave me the run around saying he didnt have access to the records. BS. and told me to call Customer Service. It is Forgery and Insurance Fraud. If the package had been lost they would have claimed to have had a signature. The same thing happened a week before when we received a FED EX insured package. We got it but it was left and didnt sign for it. Please reach out the Consumer Affairs if this happens to you, I am. How this company exists I dont know.
Customer Service for me is extremely well, the staff is helpful and tries to figure other solutions to make things work out, they are fast, and my package made it in time within two days. I’ve been to other places were my package have gone missing. It felt good reassurance !
A couple of weeks ago I had a really unfortunate 1st time printing experience at Staples. I was hesitant to try Kinkos but now I wish I had tried sooner because I just had the most pleasant, helpful and fastest service I could imagine. Not to mention, I actually saved a lot of money by coming here. I think its important to recognize good service when I see it so I want to acknowledge Dacharndra H. and the team of people she was working with today because they all worked together to ensure that myself and everyone else was taken care of. I really loved how everyone worked together and how quick they were to respond to customers. I will be coming here for all my future print jobs. Thank you!
Upon looking at the review, Im not surprised at all by the poor ratings. Any rating above a one star must not be legitimate. I do NOT advise anyone shipping to this location or using any of this locations services. As a customer, I have NEVER been treated so poorly. The staff, in particular Marie, needs an extensive lesson in customer service. I could barely express my needs to this incompetent woman without her speaking over me in a raised tone. Im disappointed in FedEx to allow this woman to speak on their behalf. Again, I would steer clear of this location. Apologies to anyone else that has to put up with such poor professionalism. Theyll never receive business from me again.
They have printers and copiers and computers oh my. Not always the most helpful staff but the seem to do what they can. This place can help you accomplish whatever task you need to get done. I would plan ahead and make sure all your bases are covered before you start doing your project here. Meaning have simple straight forward objectives and youll be successful. Anything complex may be out of reach here.
We were able to overnight a car key from Richmond to Roanoke for about $90 (delivery was on a Saturday). The staff was very friendly. This location is easily identifiable/accessible with plenty of free parking.
Was in a jam for late night posters, went to the nearby Staples, all three printers were broken, staff was in a hurry to close at 9. Came over here, all printers were working and the staff was very welcoming.
Poor rating based on staff interactions. Bear in mind I have 20 years experience in design and (specifically) printing. They printed out a file as oversized and then said it was because I set up the file incorrectly. EXCUSE ME??? At that point, I had to mention my credentials since they kept referring to how I incorrectly set up the file. I let them know thats not the case and that their system had scaled my PDF to their oversized paper (not unheard of EXCEPT to their expert ears.) Having spent the early years of my career behind the counter at a printer, Ive been in their position and have always put customer satisfaction first. I never once laid blame with the customer. They are ridiculous and Im better off making the hike elsewhere and saving myself the aggravation. Its a real shame since theyre at such a great location.
Was very grateful for all the printing help the manager Eric gave us in what had become a very difficult situation. He worked with us until we found the right solution and I appreciated his pleasant manner.
I sent a file it and it had an error they re printed 3 times for me to make sure it was right, even when I was wrong. I had a bad attitude they kept calm and just helped A+ customer service. Thanks Kirk and Christian.

Ive used this place to ship a good hundred guitars or so over the years. Its awesome that they have such long hours.Sometimes you can get stuck with an employee whos painfully slow. Fortunately the past 2 times Ive gone in Ive dealt with Eric (the manager?) and the dude knows whats up.He greets you, gets you in/out lickety split.If this location can find a way to clone him Richmond will only use *this* FedEx to ship their stuff ! Ive gone from waiting sometimes 20+minutes to 5 !!
Id give it a zero if I could. Had them hold a package for 7 days. They called and left a message telling me that the package had been held for 7 days and would be delivered. I totally understand that they cant hold packages forever (i was just trying to avoid the package being left in the rain like the last time they delivered an item). When I checked to see when my package was going to be delivered, it said it would be returned to shipper. I called customer service....although they are sorry that they didnt use the correct words to let me know that my package was being SHIPPED BACK TO SENDER....they cant reroute or reship it back to me....because they dont have to ability to communicate with their driver...OR AT ALL. Look, if you tell a customer that you are going to deliver their item, and you misspoke, please dont then proceed to tell me that I should have understood that delivered doesnt mean delivered to my house! Horrible customer service. Seriously? If you make a mistake, make it right.
I go at least 1 to 2 times a week and usually have great service. Some times there is a wait and they should have a counter with a defined wait line along it like the post office so you could either rest the package your sending on it or finish boxing it while you wait.
The whole staff did not know to operate the machines they have.Not a tech savvy so dont understand the new machines and asked help from the front desk attendant, for I had in the past came to the same store and someone who was working that day helped me with the same thing i wanted today.There were 2 attendant,s but both of them didnt know how to print the material I had in the way I wanted it to be printed.FedEx should hire people who know how to work, atleast the machines they have.That very unprofessional and the customer,s should not waste there time going to this particular location, 1 star is the only option,but if they had -5 STARS, thats me, Cheers
Came in here while the store was slow. I needed one piece of paper printed from a USB drive. Girl begins helping me then stops when a customer flags her down because they made a mistake on his order and needs help because he is in a hurry. She and the manager spend five minutes on his problem. On the way back to me she answers a phone call and instead of putting them on hold, takes the call. I waited another five minutes while she was still on the phone. After that, I approached the manager and explained how she was helping me then stopped and that I needed my USB drive back so I could go somewhere else. His response was a rushed and insincere sorry bout that. Wont be stopping here ever again. Go to Office Max down the street for much better service!

Wow, I will be hesitant to ship with Fedex ever again. I shipped an expensive watch from this location back to the factory for repair and the item went missing before the package arrived to its destination. Unfortunately, I had to find this out by tracking the package online.Fedex then attempted to return the empty package to my doorstep multiple times around 2-3 PM during the week for which I had to sign for. I had to sign for an empty package!... awesome. No door tags or messages were left, so I also had to find this info out by tracking the package online. After multiple delivery attempts while I was at work I finally had to call and have them hold my empty package at the local transit office. You can imagine how excited I was to drive 30 minutes to sign for and pick up my empty/ damaged package. Thanks Fedex!It has now been a month and I have not received a check for my claim or a single call/email from a Fedex representative. Great customer service!
I had return a phone as part of a warranty repair. I needed to send it back for further repair. I came in to the store to ship using a prepaid shipping label and the box that I had just received the phone back in, from the previous week. They tried to make me buy additional packaging that I did not need or want. I called FedEx customer service and they said that they should have just taken the package and that there was no such requirement that I purchase FedEx approved packaging.
This place has the most unprofessional staff I have ever seen. They are poorly trained and are not helpful at all when asked about how to operate the self-service machines, which nine times out of ten are broken down or out of paper or ink. I went when the store was slow; there was only one other customer. The woman at the counter gave me the evil eye the moment I walked in the door; then walked to the back of the store where she stood for five minutes before finally coming back to the counter. When I asked her about the machines, she sighed, shrugged and say I dont know. I took my $50 and walked out the door. Its clear that the manager of this place is a horrible businessman. Its a shame the FedEx corporation doesnt care. Maybe thats why theyre not doing too well.
Came to make copies, the associate seemed to not want to be here. He wasnt very friendly nor helpful in directing me with the cost or steps in make copies. Poor customer service.
I agree that this Kinkos used to be awful, but Ive been going there for nine years and can say they have improved tremendously. There are a number of very helpful, very friendly staff members there now.

The store was so busy yet they were assisting everyone right as they walked in the door! I had all my pages printed within five minutes, for cheap too! Theyre so awesome im definitley going to them from now on.

Called to see whether they could help me with a small project and they acted as if they could not be bothered. She said if she had the time she would get around to it. Not much sense of customer service. She was condescending and had attitude. After reading the other reviews I will call Staples.
Staff seems poorly trained; did not give me what I paid for (and I made sure he understood my request 4 times before I paid). He said he understood my request; unfortunately, this error risked thousands of dollars which is not acceptable.
