Associate was very helpful in helping find the correct screw I was looking for. I had determined the screw to be 1/4-28 @ Home Depot but it turn out M6 metric. The lady helped me out to determine what is needed. Thank you.

Always has what I need for my 30-year-old house. The big block stores only carry stuff for todays houses.

I prefer to do my business with small local companies rather than the big box stores. And I try to let the owner of a company know if there is a problem, out of respect. I have tried to contact the owner, but he has not returned my calls. The store does not keep posted prices accurate with prices at the register. For several years, I have pointed out to counter employees that prices in their framing (picture) department are not accurate. No one has bothered to correct this over two years and four complaints. I would think that given the challenge this local owner faces against the big stores, they would not disregard customer feedback.

For one thing, concerning Mr. Griffins review, the owners name is Mike Mower. If youre going to complain at least do your homework. I have had nothing but good relations with the staff here and Tamy in particular is a wonderful person. Ive heard the story of how the afore mentioned person came in and cursed her out for no reason at all other than that he was having a temper tantrum, and this came from multiple sources. True Value is an amazing place. It could use a little organization, but other than that I love it!

I always find what I need here unlike The Home Depot a few blocks away. They also are cheaper on the items I need. Like $40 cheaper on Mastercool pads. They are always helpful.
