Manager Kirk is unprofessional, unorganized and lacks communication skills. They had the deal on the table with us, we signed to get the car at 9pm with the notion that we would pick up the car detailed and ready to go by 2pm the following day. We got to Mazda at and the initial plans changed without regard for the customer and then not only were they okay with inconveniencing us but KIRK started lying to make themselves look better. They had no plan in place and Kirks attitude was appalling and disgusting to say the least. Go to another ddalership or go to the Mazda in Irvine. He was mad I didnt want to drive home in a used filthy car during covid.

I got an incredible deal at Riverside Mazda. I used the Costco program but the dealership reduced the price even more. My salesman Michael was great. I visited three other dealerships and Riverside had the best price. One dealer wanted to haggle before showing me the Costco price sheet but everything was straightforward and transparent at Riverside Mazda and they gave me the best deal. I was actually surprised that I had a pleasant experience.

I wrote a 1 star negative review detailing my experience of trying to buy a car here on 6/25 and it’s mysteriously “disappeared”. Why? I clicked the instant price button for a CX-5 Carbon Edition on their website on 6/24 (no prices shown). It was after hours, so I didnt expect a response right then, but when I hadn’t heard anything by 10:00 the next morning I drove up from San Diego (90 minute drive). About halfway there I got a call from a woman describing herself as their internet contact. I asked about the price and she said she couldn’t give the price over the phone and I’d have to come there for it. Why have the button, if you’re not gonna give a price (click bait)? She said to let her know when I got there and she’d introduce me to a salesperson. I did so, but all she did was have the receptionist grab any available salesman. He took me to the cars and lo and behold, they’d added a $2,500 dealer mark up and added a bunch of unneeded, unwanted “extras” which brought a $33,000 car to nearly $38,000! Needless to say I wasn’t happy and left (90 minute drive). Later that day I found the same car at a dealership in Carlsbad that I happily bought for less than MSRP. The fact that Riverside put a button on their site to get your contact information, but won’t follow through with a price unless you’re there, might not be illegal, but it’s definitely unethical. Two days later the same woman called to ask how my experience was the day before. I had to tell her that it was 2 days before and that I thought their click bait scam sucked and that I had bought elsewhere. That’s how unaware she was. For some unknown reason my review “disappeared” today, with only 5 star reviews remaining. That’s how bad this place is. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time or money here. I’m sure this review will magically “disappear” too.

I was searching for a rare hard to find Mazda CX-5 signature, and they respond promptly to my dealer inventory inquiry. I had a bit of a driving distance to visit them, and the sales manager Adrian was very courteous and accommodating and made the extra effort to make sure this vehicle was still available for me when I arrived after giving me an email price quotation. (Compare this to a day earlier when another dealer sent me an estimate for the same model and sold the vehicle out from under me before I could get there.) The sales expert Kevin was very well informed on the model I was interested in, and answered all my questions. He was very helpful, friendly, and courteous. After agreeing on pricing and terms, they agreed to a few nice free upgrades I requested. When we moved over to the financing department, we worked with Christopher, who was also very helpful, and friendly. I found his sense of humor refreshing. Although this process takes a while, his speed and paperwork skills are incredible. He could likely do this blindfolded :). This was my smoothest and least stressful auto buying experience ever. Based on what I experienced, I can and will recommend this dealership in the future. I also appreciated their commitment to wearing masks at all times, to keep everyone as safe as possible.

Be careful if you want the Costco pricing from this dealership they will use classic bait and switch sales tactic on you. They will insist you purchase a tracking device if you want the Costco price. The irony is that all of the Mazda’s already have a tracking mobile app included from the factory.

My wife and I stopped by to look at a few different Mazda models as a possible gift for our daughter’s birthday coming up in two weeks. Isaiah walked to us and asked if we needed any help and asked what we were looking for. I told him and then he proceeded to take us to look at the options in our price comfort zone. He was knowledgeable about each model and there features. We test drive each model. We never felt rushed or pressured whatsoever. Isaiah and his manager Chris came to me wanting to make a deal. Honestly I had no intention of purchasing at the moment since we were two weeks out from my daughter’s birthday and because it was the first dealership we attended. My first brand new car purchase was almost an amazing experience till I got to service. Anthony my dealer was great but after waiting over an hour for my car to be brought to me from being “hand washed” I still had water spots and it was still dirt on the outside. I was promised a phone call to bring it back but have yet to receive one.

Started the process online and already picked out the car I wanted. Was able to get confirmation that I would be able to get financed before even showing up. It was a fast process. Compared to my first two experiences in a dealership this was by far the best. I was not pressured into anything and all the charges were shown and explained to me with no rush to sign.All the staff were friendly welcoming. Mazda could not fix my USB2 port in my 2019 Mazda CX-5, to make it connect to my 1 1/2 year old iPod. They told me my iPod needed to be upgraded. I have a 2013 Wrangler that the same iPod works fine in.

I purchased a new 2021 Mazda CX-5 touring trim from Riverside Mazda and it was the best car buying experience ever. I got a great price and it had everything I wanted.Because of Covid19 I started this process by phone and spoke with Monae Lopez. Monae was extremely helpful to make sure that they had exactly what I was looking for and at the price I wanted to pay.Monae connected me with Richard Lopez in sales and we talked over the phone. Richard was able to make it happen without any hassle. He actually went far beyond what anyone could expect. He even offered to deliver the car to my house which is about 40 miles from their dealership. I appreciated the offer but decided to drive in after Richard assured me that the employees take the Covid19 safety measures seriously.When I got there Richard greeted me and introduced me to Mario who had all the paperwork completed and I was out of there in 15 minutes, no attempt to up sell like so many dealerships do. Mario was very helpful and courteous.When finishing the paperwork Richard went over the many features of my new car, explaining how the technology worked and was extremely patient as Im not all that technology savvy. Dustin, Mario and others worked together so that I could walk away with a pre-owned base model iSport 2015 Mazda3. There’s also another 2015 Mazda3 and 2016 CX-5 in the family! Overall, these are painless machines that offer a decent amount of fun despite its focus on fuel economy. On a side note, the world deserves a Skyactiv Rotary.

My experience at Riverside Mazda has always been good for repairs on my former Mazda. So I was not disappointed when I decided to lease a Mazda3. I wanted the best car deal I could get and Dustin, the sales person who worked with me was attentive to what I wanted and needed and was a big help in attaining my goal. Dustin, his manager and the finance manager were all very helpful and worked hard to get me the car I wanted. I would recommend Dustin as well as Riverside Mazda.

This used car purchase was not the type where you do one visit, fall in love with the car, and then do dumb things while you’re sitting in the chair negotiating. The purchase involved two trips (both lengthy as I don’t live nearby) to the dealer to get this done. The car had been on the lot for awhile. I don’t believe there was any double talk on anything related to the car as you might expect from a dealer trying to “peddle” a used car that had been there for awhile. Kudos to RM. They were always upfront about both the car and price. No hidden gotchas. And when I took delivery of this car, while it did only have 11,000 miles on it, the car was in immaculate shape and condition from cleaning and detailing RM had done. Props again to them. They did what they said they were going to do. I would recommend RM for a new or used purchase.

Nice people very confusing dealership but excellent service

This review is for the service department at Riverside Mazda. I came in without an appointment on a Tuesday morning. I had a battery debacle where Autozone wouldn’t help me install a battery I purchased there after being told that they would. They handed me the tools and said figure it out (to a pregnant woman at night who was now stranded with a completely dead battery). Long story short, the battery got installed but I lost the J bolts in the engine compartment and couldn’t properly secure the battery. Liz and the service team were amazing. They were able to locate my J bolts and reinstall them with no charge to me. Liz also noticed a recall on my car and took the initiative to see if I wanted to handle it while I was there rather than having to come back. They also washed my car before returning it to me. I really have to thank Liz, the parts department, and the service guys for all their help in making this pregnant girl feel safe and not so dumb despite my debacle. Thanks for your awesome customer service! If you need Mazda service, this is your go to place!
