We go to this grocery store/market primarily to pay our bills. However it is primarily a grocery store that also has alot of Hispanic foods. The employees here are very quick, polite and extremely helpful.

Taco tuesdays are the bomb here. Emilio and David are the best taco makers they deserve a raise for how good they make them tacos. Thank you!!

Went in to purchase a cake or pastries and found a delicious strawberry cheesecake. Mmmm aaand a even tastier shrimp cocktail. Sooo good as always. Fresh fruit juices are a bonus!

Great place to get the most fresh groceries and great deals too. Using the weekly ad to meal plan for the week is very helpful because once you get to the store you can find even more deals. Overall I love this grocery store. 🤗

Cleaner than other Mexican groceries but prices are higher. Noticed that some produce have no price tags. I notified a worker and he asked someone but did not put the price tag.Some products in the ísle has wrong corresponding label.

Bad I ask workers for help and no one knows where anything is.

Had about $100 of groceries in cart and got in a line, was kicked out of the line because the clerk closed her register, went to a second line next to it and stood in line for another 20 minutes, got to the front and the cashier yelled at us that it was an express lane, I explained to her that we can’t see the sign from the back of the line. I asked for a manager and she said there isn’t one(lied to me). Sandra passes by and I explain the to her that this is the second time we’ve been kicked out of the line and been waiting for over 20 minutes, she yelled at me too. They are terrible customer service. It’s bad enough they are not following COVID regulations and not limiting the people in there causing the store to be so crowded that the lines are starting at the end of aisles. I am reporting them to corporate and to city for not following Covid guidelines. SHAME ON YOU FOR YOUR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND REPLACE SANDRA FOR SOMEONE WHO ISN’T GHETTO AND GOING TO YELL AT A CUSTOMER!!!!!!!!!!

Thayey had their limons the yellow ones green rotten. And the green ones hard. Their fruits and vegetables before buying, make sure theyre good to eat. And this has not happened in Stater Bros.

Normally a good place to shop, I love their bellies, and pastel de lechery. I find their meats are good and the restaurant serves good food at good price.

Needed a electrical wheelchair due to broken foot, husband went inside store to get one. Was approached by employee/manager and told to bring it back. This upset me because not only was he harrassed but it made it clear they do not want to lend them to customers who really need it. This is what I call discrimination against disabled individuals. I can only imagine what they do to people who are permanently disabled.

I use to go to Cardenas in corona great place but this riverside store is really bad I was in the kitchen line for 25 min when is only 3 people in front of me,right when it was my turn the lady said there is no more chicken she said it in a way they just don’t care about the customers.

I felt there was way to many people. I could not shop!

Good to know I can always get the things I need for Taco Tuesday here.

Store meat sucks has no flavor and it spoils so quick too. ☹️Dont think Ill be buying meat here also when they make bread all the customers like run and huddle all around the bread like there is no tommorow and they touch the bread with there hands pretty gross. You dont know were those hands been. Just saying also we bought a chicken burrito from the hot food side and they made it with old chicken it was all hard and all.. Not cool all.

Such a great store, easy parking, cool staff, awesome food, and, I think, Car Insurance.

They discriminate against service animals. When I tried to walk into the store with my service animal the worker blocked me, I told her she was a service animal and she continued to block me and asked for her identification. I told her it was illegal to ask for identification and she just gave me attitude. When I got inside I just wanted to inform a manager of what they could ask but they could care less.

Been shopping here for groceries since last 5 years now. Definitely better than StateBros on what you pay. Nice varieties on veggies/ greens. But I prefer WMart for drinks.

Please give your associates the correct information about placing a big quantity of food for a company. I called two days before ti make sure what was the easier and they told me that the amount I needed would be available no need to place and order. Which I did place one. Second I already have the extra March in my car ready to pay at my lane and they tell me that they cannot accept my dorm of payment, I have to have my corporate office call for it to approve. At this point Im furious. Third the person that helped me with the food didnt wrap it correctly so not I have beans in the back of my car thank you Cardenas for making my experience very DIFFICULT. I went to the Cardenas on Sierra and lets just say Im HAPPY they were able to help me with no problem

Love their tamales & guacamole de shrimp ceviche. Awesome! $$ but always long lines. Parking is crazy on any given day. Situated next to a laundry map. Families come together to shop. But still, when its sale time. Its great.

I was really used to the store in ontario. This was is not bad but will take time to adjust. Its like the others but does not look as nice outside. Inside its pretty crammed but it carries almost everything I want at better prices than go na, smart and final and stated brothers.

Love the fresh baked bread but the line ALWAYS too long can never run in and out

Meat is horrible here!!!! Bought 7 lbs of Ranchera looked nice and clean unyil I brought it home and looked on the opposite side nothing but fat, tried cleaning it but it was just too much fat was being left with NO meat. Went to return it and was given so much attitude by the cashiers in charge when handling my return eventhough they couldnt even tell what kind of meat it was by the amount of fat on it!!!

Good prices very full by noon and later definitely recommend going early for any meats/fish that you want to manually order not prepackaged ones. Good pan dulce and bolillos are good I just hate waiting but besides that its a good place to buy groceries.

Cardenas is a great grocery store. You could find everything you need for any occasion.

I wish there was a button for one star. The workers are rude and dont speak english. Then i was hit in my foot by a boy bagging because he was to busy listening to his head phones. Ive been to one other Cardenas and i will never go to this chain again.

This market is very clean and well stocked. There is a great bakery and fresh tortillas.

Idk how ppl are still giving this place good ratings. Ive notice the decline in service and products being bad. The food is terrible and getting pricey. Everything turning industrial and the prices keep going higher. The staff terrible too dont take their jobs serious and dont care about their customers never shopping here again good bye to this place spend your money were it counts.

Customer service is almost non existent in this place. I order some food from the in house foid court. And i was wairing for 25 mins for my order. I had to go and ask twice to find out where was my food. Dont recommend eating here if your hungry. Youll be waiting for days. No apology or compensation of any kind. Terribly ashamed

Walgreens across the street has no alcohol so I went across the street to Cardenas for alcohol. I didnt have a lot of time and my life was sitting at home so I asked the first person I saw that work there, excuse me where you keep the alcohol mam and her response was silence and a shrug shoulder so I spoke louder saying where is the wine and she shrugs again saying, no english, so I scoured the store looking for it myself. I finally found in the back corner wall and I grabbed a six pack. From there I jammed as quickly as I could to the registers to checkout. the line was long and I noticed a National Geographic that talked about sharks in Baja California on the cover, so I picked it up and opened it to find out more and every single page was in Spanish. I found out nothing except this is not a country with secure borders.Next visit to Cardenas, on 7 Febuary 2018, at 7:45pm to get a 12 pack of Heineken. Register two has the shortest line and Norma is on the cash register and she is not over 50 y/o, so I know she is english speaking. Wrong I did not understand anything accept ID and Gracias. Thank God I know a little Espanol or I would be with out a cold beer in America. Better get fluent in Espanol or you may not get groceries tomorrow California.
