Haven’t been to Lyft Coffee Roasters since they left their Central Avenue location. Glad to see they safely landed not too far away. A nice open space with a good vibe. Their coffee is still great and, looking around, still quite popular. Barista was welcoming and friendly.

Best cafe in Riverside. They buy the best green beans in town and roast better than any of the others. The staff is always nice. The milk drinks are hit or miss, depending on the barista. For black coffee and espresso lovers, this is your place. The pastries are decent, could be better. I wish they had more breakfast/ food options. Good vibes here. I am a big fan.

Had an amazing experience here! The barista was attentive to their customers and the drinks. I’m definitely not a coffee person, but they did such a great job at picking out a recommendation and catering to my preferences. The drink itself was made to perfection. As for the venue itself, the place is snug and cozy—a great study/work spot. Hope to see more menu items in the future!

What an amazing coffee loft. The owner is a kind and courteous man who let our church use his beautiful coffee house for worship. The coffee is brewed with love. Not burned like other places. And its such a hip little spot. With a performance space as well. I would definitely recommend if youre considering trying this place!

The ambience and energy of Lift Coffee Roasters cannot be beat. I prefer this cafe to others near downtown for a number of reasons. 1) Yummy drinks and bakery items. 2) Seating and workspace. Ample space to work on laptops at tables but also a couch, love seat and comfy chairs for a nice chat. Hard to find a comfortable couch at a cafe these days. 3) Wisely placed electrical outlets. The design of the space is brilliant because the electrical comes down to table from the ceiling and its barely noticeable. Because its from the ceiling, its precisely where they want it to be. 4) Free and plentiful parking. Its so hard to find parking downtown and its rarely free. Once I find parking, the other cafés in downtown are packed. It can be a challenge to find a seat. (But now that Ive told you all of this, will I still be able to find parking and grab a seat on the couch? If I see you there, please share the couch with me.)And of course free wifi, clean bathroom and frequent visitors can elect for a point card towards free drinks.

The manager at this location is probably one of the worst out there. I could HEAR him talk about how filthy the place of work was, and how he couldn’t be bothered to do anything about it. This persons name is Elias, and during my trip I was also forced to listen to him BERATE his employees. You got to be a real plague to give people you’re serving an impression how you are outside of work. Do NOT go here, and more importantly, do NOT encounter Elias.

Best iced americano ever!Perfectly iced, smooth. Even had agave ( sweetener)! Scone was good too! Cant wait to try whole beans fro om them!

Love this place! Is my personal favorite, around 3 years ago I was a Starbucks lover until I discovered Lift thanks to a dear friend of my husband, ever since I cant think of a better coffee than this one!

Really reminds me of Seattles coffee shops. Amazing atmosphere, supreme roasted coffee, and they are always bringing in something new. This is my favorite coffee in the Inland Empire.

Kind of an unusual location - really great space though, and very tasty coffee. Love how many workstations there are, with power, and very good air conditioning :) I also liked their rewards program that seems fairly generous.Oh, and I liked how it’s quite dark inside, good for working on the computer. Don’t be surprised by the lack of daylight :) haha (do you guys open up a big garage door or anything on occasion?)

Best coffee Ive ever had. I was dying to try this place after all the hype and I was not disappointed. The quality is definitely there. The coffee is super strong and you can taste the quality. Lines get pretty long so Id mobile order if youre in a rush.

Such a nice vibe there. The coffee is obviously excellent (and I’m French, strong opinion on coffee). On top of that, the personnel is very nice and they smile ! Worth a try ;)

We were on the road and came across this spot. Got the cold brew and can say it has a nice bold taste. I also got the coffee cake and can tell their coffee cake is made fresh. Nothing like Starbucks. Its delicious and highly recommend trying.

The rather unimpressive door to Lift Coffee Roasters belies the very cool space on the other side. I love this coffee shop which is open and urban in appearance but the lighting keeps the feeling warm and comfortable. The beans are roasted on site and make for delicious coffee carefully crafted into beautiful drinks. This is a spot I’ll visit frequently.

I can not reccomend this place enough! I usually get a chai honey latte with oat milk. Its magical every time. My gf is lactose intolerant so is nice they have a wide variety of alternative milks.

This is a quality coffee choice for a cleaner and fresher choice of coffee and there is plenty of options too. They have a variety of milk alternatives including hemp, oat and almond milk.The weekend brunch is amazing. I really enjoy the avocado toast but it all looks delicious when you see it being put together or on a plate for another customer. It definitely has its own atmosphere and can be a bit dark for reading. There is a number of tables for working or studying and there is plenty of comfortable seating options. In addition, theres two bigger tables for groups and options for power outlets too.The staff here are always helpful and friendly. Lift has their own reward or point system that is straight forward enough and it just based on giving them your phone number each time you place a order. It can take longer sometimes to be served if it is busy but this isn’t the kind of coffee shop you drop by for a quick stop. If you’re going here, it’s probably to spend some time socializing or studying.Overall, this is a nice change from the chain coffee stores. Can be a bit tough to locate the first time but look for sign by the door and youll find it.

The coffee itself is really good but the atmosphere is dull. Came this morning and the lighting is very dark and the person serving us didn’t talk or make conversation. I love the coffee here but suggest they lighten up the mood, maybe add some music, brighter lights and cheerful spirits from the employees.

Definitely a unique, modernized atmosphere. I would recommend this shop to anyone travelling, to really get an authentic California vibe. Independent artists can be heard instead of mainstream audio, as well as a plethora of outside vendors to complete your visit with original dishes all around.

Mural-covered walls (including the restroom) are especially helpful for inspiration when you’ve hit a wall and are sipping your coffee to revive your “little gray cells.”Super cordial staff. Lift is my favorite coffee roaster & shop in the IE. They have cold brew on tap (nitro), with great single origin varieties. The atmosphere is relaxing and the employees are knowledgeable. They also have an excellent tea selection!

Easily one of the best coffee places throughout the USA and definitely the best in SoCal. Amazing fresh roasted coffee you will never go to Starbucks again once you experience Lifts.

Loved this coffee roaster and cafe. The vibe was great, and everything was relaxed enough for me to read my book and my girlfriend to do her homework.She had an iced soy milk latte and I had a cappuccino. Both drinks were quickly and well made. The in house roasting definitely brought a freshness to the coffee.Art on the walls was some of my favorite in any store Ive been to recently.I would immedcome back whenever Im in the Riverside area.

I really like this shop as a study location. The endless drop coffee is one of my favorites when I have to write for a long period of time and they have a great selection of snacks and pastries. It would be slightly difficult to find but they have great signage to help you out. The aesthetics are amazing if you like dark tones, leather, and wood.

This is such a neat place. The coffee is great and the atmosphere is calm and friendly. It really has a quaint feel to it and makes you feel like youve stepped into another world. The staff is really friendly and the products are quality. This is a great spot for student groups to meet with wifi and a quite and respectful crowd.

This place is outstanding and only the 2nd place I’ve had great chilaquiles outside my home. Can be a very disappointing dish once you’ve had it properly done but I was pleasantly surprised. Love the quality that goes into all the products I’ve been fortunate to try. Only thing I gotta say is, after business returns from covid, please make your large drinks larger lol your boy had a long night and I got a sippy cup for six bucks haha all the best

Such a great coffee shop to explore. Ive never been to this type of coffee shop where it was in a big facility. The furniture was EXTREMELY inviting because there was so many places to sit. I appreciate that because it attracts people. The couches was one of the best furniture choices there because as a chemical engineer with a focus in subatomic particles, I utilize my computer a lot to create programs that analyze quantum particles and it was very comfortable to sit back and work on the couch. I had a hot chocolate with two shots and it was perfect with a leaf on top. I cant wait to being my family and all my graduate program engineer classmates to experience this wonderful coffee shop!

My friend recommended that I meet him here one day and skeptical of the location I did and I was not disappointed. The gentleman working was very kind and knowledgeable. He was able to upsale me, which rarely anyone can do... and I greatly thanked him for it. Aside from delicious coffee they had very legit cookies

First time here. Having been to many big brands cafes, their regular cold brew iced coffee was great. No complaints of any excessive bitterness or burned taste. There are lots of seats indoors air-conditioned in a relatively industrialized ambiance. Not there is very little sunlight entering indoors. They sell beans as well

The best coffee place in Riverside in my opinion. I’ve been coming here since they were located off of central and I love them! Even though they’re quite out of the way for me, I make a point to come here with or without my husband at least once a week. I have tried coffee shops all over Southern California and Lift is consistently the best. The baristas are always super nice, personable and actually pretty quick at making drinks! (anyone who complains about the amount of time it takes to get their specialty coffee is just a Starbucks regular) I drink Starbucks too but don’t come to a walk in coffee joint like this one and expect them to prioritize speed over quality; if your drink is taking a while, trust me, it’s for good reason!Also, they have amazing oat milk all the time and really great donuts on the weekends! :)

Excellent roastery serving up super fresh cups. Knowledgeable staff, great selection, and specials with bean purchase. Nestled in some industrial type buildings, but it is well worth the short search to find it.

First let me start by saying I used to own a coffee shop and we roasted in house. The coffee here is just slightly under roasted, tried a few different varieties and all of them were slightly under roasted. Nice shop free WI FI if I remember correctly. Overall pretty good, good service!

Staff is always nice even when they have a full house. The staff was very kind and attentive. Prices are fair I would say. Menu is similar to a restaurant in Jacksonville I loved.

If you appreciate the layers of flavors associated with lighter roast coffee of selective origins, this one’s for you. Best coffee I’ve had in SoCal. Keep in mind, I drink mine black. If you put 800 calories of corn syrup and synthetic flavor in your coffee, you probably won’t notice. But for $2 a cup, why not try a coffee from people who obviously view coffee as a religious experience. My one criticism is that it would be nice if there was occasionally an organic option.

Visited on Sat I believe. The service here is friendly. The place has a good atmosphere. Feels like a place in Los Angeles I loved.

My husband always gets a latte with hemp milk and caramel which is great. I usually get the Kyoto cold drip. This is the first place Ive seen that cold brew their coffee this way and I have to say its really good. I keep coming back for it!

The best coffee house this side of the 60/215. Plenty of seating available indoors; atmosphere is dark (in a good way) and whimsical—I love the Alice in Wonderland-inspired art all over the walls. Also, free parking!

I went here last week and got a pour over, then went in today and was told there’s a new policy that they don’t do pour overs and it’s « not on the menu » but that I could get one for $7. In LA I’m used to paying $4 or even $5 for a good pour over but $7 is absurd. Not really sure what the logic is there but either way pretty lame and poor customer service. I’ll have to go elsewhere for good coffee when I’m in Riverside.

Sadly, I too will no longer be a Lift customer.My overall impression is that the people who manage the business do not make good business decisions. And, when you comment about anything negative you are given apathetic responses or no response.Before the location on Central closed, this was our choice spot to stop. Sometimes, we’d show up and, randomly, the store would be closed; no notice, no sign on the door, no post online. Other times, there would be none of the usual donut offerings because someone “oopsed” on an order. If these were brought to the attention of staff, they just shrugged and gave us an “oh well.” But, we still kept coming back because of the quality of productsThe nail in the coffin. My partner and I thought, and still think, that Lift has the best coffee around. However, we also stopped in in the mornings and so we always wanted a bite to eat. What brought us back over and over were the vegan donuts. These were just soooo good along with the coffee. Now, they stopped selling them. The reason given was that they weren’t selling. Now,I understand the Central location closed but the donuts at the Chicago location were NEVER on display. We only knew to ask for them because of previous experiences. How can you attract people without product on display? Not everyone is a repeat customer simply because of familiarity with product. Along with that, it was a Saturday and were told that the new pastries that were carried were only offered on weekdays, but they had other (poorer quality and mini-sized) donuts available.I also agree with a comment below. The Chicago staff just isn’t as helpful or knowledgeable, though they have been very nice.I’d still be willing to consider stopping at Lift but they do not seem to care about decisions made or what customers want. I think they aim for cost cutting but they are making the wrong choices and not doing other things to stimulate business.Goodbye, Lift.

Great coffee spot in Riverside. Im sad that they had to close the one on Central Ave cause it was closer to me but i love the set up and decor of this location. I recently had their iced latte and the barista suggested their oat milk. It was delicious! It will now be my go to milk.

Hidden location with friendly staff and a good environment. Four of us went and had iced coffee, drip coffee, and an iced chai and all were good. I wish I lived closer so I can go more often. Highly recommend this place if you can find it.

Would have loved to have tried Lift. We drove 20 miles based on Google which said it was open at 7 am on Sunday. It is not. I edited the Sunday hours to 8am? No phone number listed... bummer.
