The lids Downstairs Is a five star but the lids up stairs worst experience My friend and I were looking at the hats And the African American Lady was just sitting down watching football and a nice teen worker was helping another customer No one to help us, We Grabbed the hat ourselves, The African American lady then Proceded To yell at me and My friend Saying “WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING ASK SOMEONE FOR HELP” Then the teen worker apologized and helped us As the African American lady just sat there and watched football
I have been to this store several times and not once have I ever experienced a employee with such a horrible attitude. Not only was it towards me and my family but other customers aswell. As soon as I walked in I noticed her attitude. Its unfortunate to come to a store you love and to experience this. It ruins your shopping experience. You dont even want to ask the employee for any type of help. If you do not like working with customers...there are other jobs out there. I couldnt catch her name. But it was the African American one on fathers day around 12pm on the 2nd floor.
Very rude sales associate in the up stairs lids. Fathersday around noon. African American female that totally curved questions and was completely rude and uncaring.
Went to the second level store today and some miserable African American lady was back talking and yelling at the clients. Worst experience ever, almost yelling at the customers with an aggressive tone. Couple guys walked in with like 4/5 hats that they barley purchased not even 30 mins prior talking about how she messed on their hats. Won’t be going back, and she messed up on my hat as well. Ill be looking forward to some type of compensation because this is the workers mistake and worst customer service.
Went to the 2nd level store today and was met by a very rude, miserable woman.I understand people may be having a bad day, thats fine but this was beyond that. Per CoVid only 4 people are allowed in the store at once. Myself and family made 3 so we were the only ones in there. The employee had just finished up with someone, figuring she would help us after or at least greet us (I had enough time to pick out what I wanted as she helped the previous customer) we waited... And waited... And waited. Until finally after ten mins my family member asks if we can get some help. Without looking up from her computer and, what do you need? My sister points at the hat and describes the hat, still the employee doesnt look up, walks to the wall of hats and asks again which hat we want to see. She hands it to us without any type of customer service, how is it going out further assistance and walks away. I had some questions to which she rudely and condescendingly replied to. I returned the hat and walked out. Do yourself a favor and go to the Lids downstairs, hopefully she doesnt work there.

So just like the name says a hat store. Not all.kinds of hats but more specifically baseball cap styles hats. The have sports teams or just certain colors or hats that reflect cultural icons or people. Usually young helpful staff. Small size. Some hats are also plain with a large color variety to match a certain outfit. They also have kids hats
I went inside with a good friend and I had a good experience. The salesman are not pushy and allow you to look around first. Kinda expensive so shop carefully. Best deals during Christmas and good deals with membership
Christopher always does an outstanding job in customer service and does beyond his work. Christopher and the staff does an amazing job at getting what I need.
Only stopped by with a friend. She was picking up an order, the only employee working was busy with other customers so it was about a 10 minute wait before he could help us. Once he was done, it was quick, and easy. Simple signature and receipt. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a diverse selection of hats, logos and embroidery.

Though we did not get anything from Lids, the salesman was SO helpful, and knowledgeable. We were looking for a Colts snapback hat, with a curved brim, and almost made the mistake of purchasing a Broncos hat!!! Yes, laugh now! Two ladies shopping for sports gear, when we really dont follow sports too closely. If it isnt local to Los Angeles, Anaheim, or San Diego, were lost! At any rate, they dont carry Colts hats in either of their stores, and he educated us! It was an amusing trip, for all! Oh, and did I mention he had on the neatest Christmas sweater, that lit up!!!

I came in on Oct 30th for a gift and associate Brittany helped me (this is the African American female in all the other bad posts here I assume) Not only was she rude from the beginning, but rounded up for a donation without asking me in my transaction. I asked her if she could help me with a hat that I could not reach which was “above the yellow one” and when she grabs the yellow and I correct her she proceeds to scorn me by saying “well you said the yellow one”. I have never had as bad customer experience as I had here. Her energy was all around full of anger and the fact that she donated up my transaction without asking was completely unacceptable. Hope the manager could see this post since they don’t offer customer surveys. This was the lids upstairs.
