The service and support is just not there anymore. I went in today to buy 2 propane tanks and have them filled. Waiting 40+ minutes in line only to find out... they dont have propane tanks. Theres only 1 person working the counter and is also handling propane refills. Ive been coming to this place for a few years now. However, it just keeps going down hill and Im at the point where I will take my business elsewhere. The last 3 times Ive came in... I ring the bell indicating I need propane and they never respond. Always have to go inside. The previous time... they asked me to wait so they can attend other customers before helping me refill my propane tanks. If youre in Riverside... just go to Kamps Propane. Theyre never out of propane and also have exchange and/or purchase new propane tanks.

They didnt let me into my ubox yesterday, and told me to come back today. I scheduled my work day around the time they said theyd have it accessible. Did they have it ready? Nope. I show up and they tell me I have to wait. Again. They just dont care about doing the work they promised theyd do. If you have any other location available, GO THERE.Edit: they made me wait half an hour to tell me they couldnt get me access to my belongings today, and asked me to come back tomorrow. A THREE DAY WAIT JUST TO GET MY POSESSIONS.

They canceled my reservation for being late without having the courtesy of calling me to let me know. The gave the truck to another customer. Nowhere online did they mention the reservation would be canceled if youre late. Poor customer service! Ive used Uhaul several times before and never had something like this happen. I will not being using Uhaul again and do not recommend!

Made a reservation for a 20ft truck. I called uhaul to make sure it will be there because I was moving across country. When I went to pick it up they said they only had 15ft trailers and no other place near had 20ft. They didn’t have the right dolly as well. Very unprepared and unprofessional

Worst storage experience. I had my Ubox stored in this location, but it was moved to San Diego without my permission. I asked them to move it back a couple of weeks ago, but it is still not back. It is somehow in Murrieta. I need to take my Ubox out!!! But they are making me wait on the phone line for hours and hours without any solution!!!Dont use this location. Your storage can go anywhere and you will waste all your time.

Have been trying to contact this place and no one answers. They charged me $116 for storage when I have nothing stored with them! The u box rental was returned empty. No one picks up the phone or emails back. Terrible customer service.

The people were friendly and helpful. The service was fast and the place is large enough to move the trucks around without hitting other trucks or cars. And it is very clean. I like the drop off station, where you can drop the trucks off after hours.

Should have read the reviews I messed up. This place was one of the Premier Uhaul locations. Now its a waste of time and effort. Ordered a Hitch to be put on not only was it late and they didnt call me. Then told me it was on back order ... But it was actually there. An absolute nightmare facility. A total waste of time.

I rented from here earlier today. I believe Stephanie was the name of the person who helped me. She was really nice and friendly. She helped me with both my pick up and return of my truck. I reserved the truck I wanted online a week before the date and it was available for the time I requested it. 👌🏽 it was easy and I had no issues.

I made reservation for a rental truck and checked in online, supposedly to save 50% of time in line. Ive been standing here for 10 minutes, and Jennifer is slower than a snail processing my reservation with check in. On top of that they take your photo! As if youre some criminal. They already have all my information, but thats not enough, gotta take my photo too. How rude and intrusive! Awful service. Told the gas tank is full, but it was less than half filled! Have to go back in to correct this mistake. Wasting my Saturday here.Returning the truck: again a hassle. Why does it take 2 people to receive the rental? Why does it take 20 minutes to return a vehicle? When I mentioned this to Miguel, he said Karim could have handled it all. You need to train your employees much better.

The employee that helped us, Gary, was very kind, friendly, and professional. Also sold me a convertible dolly which is making life much easier. The truck was clean and all so we could just get started and not have to worry about anything. It was actually cheaper than I thought it would be as well. I’ll be returning in a month or so when I need to move back to my place because of the great service here.

I paid $1098 to ship a UBox container from Atlanta Georgia to Anaheim California. The 1st issue is that my U Box container with delivered to a riverside u haul which is 40 miles away from the Anaheim delivery location.After confirming that my container is in riverside, I called to figure out why it wasnt delivered to the desired location; didnt get a direct answer. Requested to speak to the manager which was scheduled for the next day, manager never called. Called again the third day and the associate told me there is an additional charge of $100 to deliver it to the correct location... i expressed im low on funds being ive paid so much already, no luck so i planned to unload it myself that weekend.I took this Saturday the 12th to rent my OWN u-haul and move my items out of the container in riverside to Anaheim but no one informed me over the phone that I have to give a 24 hour notice to get access to my container because theyve put it inside of a warehouse on site! I STILL HAVE NOT been able to access my container and all i have is a small carryon with little clothing.I was told again to contact 1-800 U-haul to try and get some help when Ive been to two physical locations and getting the run around. No discounts or fees are being waived or even entertained.... I just want my items or for them to be delivered to the correct location and not be told to call another 1-800 number to be told I have to go in person again.Im a long time customer of uhaul have always had good turn outs. This being my most expensive and experimental purchase through Uhaul I wouldnt suggest ANYONE using Ubox containers.

Hour and 15 min wait to reach the counter.Phone customer service (3-calls) average 40-minute wait.Dropped truck off using useless app... Wouldnt take credit card information (Tried 4 different cards).Promised refund not processed correctly or even in promised amount.Employee noted on my account that they called me and spoke to me today... Never happened.Store Manager on maternity leave with no decent replacement.Employees trash talk and cuss in front of customers.U-Haul = Huge disappointment now.We will be using a different company from now on.

Came here to pick up the uhaul I reserved. The manager Josh was super friendly and answered all of our questions. When we loaded it up, we came back to pickup the auto transport and he helped us attach it to the truck and get my car hooked in. This place is great and has lots of moving supplies. Super satisfied!

Purchased and got my hitched installed here. Price is reasonable if you dont want to deal with a hitch install yourself. If the service line was faster Id give them a 5 star. So expect to wait awhile especially if a truck rental is taking place.

This place is the Superstar of moving. They have any U-Haul accessory you need. Boxes wrapping paper trucks trailers tow hitches bumper hitches storage units storage pods they have everything staff is usually pretty cool. And they explained everything very well. The trucks are usually in good shape and nice and clean they all have air conditioning parking is kind small

Ive been working with Uhaul for years. Ive been pretty happy with this company. I even bought a truck from them. Things went very well until lately. I had an online booking for a 17 foot truck for Friday morning. When I got to the office I was told my booking was pushed to 1pm. I was told there was only 10 foot trucks available. I had no option but to take the 10 foot truck. I had to move a very full house with a very small truck. In the end it cost me an extra $150. I just changed this older 5 star rating to a 1 star rating. If I ever use Uhaul again Ill consider other locations.

This place used to be decent and has a lot of trucks ect. but service sucks and there prices are misleading . They advertise $19.99 for Van rentals for the day and I was told its 69 cents per mile which is ok I guess? . . But they ask you how far you estimate you will go and actually charge you up to $100 per day for the rental not $19.99 and base it on your estimate and then also charge you for mileage .I left a message for the GM and he didnt care enough to call back a 20 year customer so I moved on to another company .

Very disappointed in the service I had this morning. On the 23rd I went to get propane, waited outside for 15 mins ringing the buzzer and no one ever came out. Having two small children in the car I did not want to get them out, it was very cold and windy and they were getting sick. So this morning 12/27 I returned, it was great a man came out immediately..... but not very customer friendly I had to say something otherwise he probably would of remained silent. When he was done filling the propane tank he said there you go leaving tank there jot offering to put in my vehicle. Being a female I would think it would be common courtesy to offer to help put the filled propane tank in my vehicle. All the other times I have gone which is plenty, they always put it in my car. Then he tells me I have to go inside to pay..... what????? I told him I have never had to go inside to pay I always pay the person that fills the tank.... he tells me just go inside that door. I told him I have to small kids in the car I cant leave them right here I have to go park and get them out..... and THEN I have to ask can you at least put the propane tank in the back of my car. I will never go back again and I will make sure when anyone ask where to go to rent a truck, get propane, supplies..... the riverside u-haul on spruce st will never be on my list of recommendations, it will be quite the opposite.

Drove 45Miles to pick up a dolly that I had paid for and reserved and when I arrived they say they didnt have any . Than why the hell did you charge me and make me drive if you dont have any !!!

Absolute clownshow. When I tried to rent a trailer today, Saturday, I waited over an hour in line before just leaving. For most of the time I was there, 1 employee was processing orders, slowly, as the line grew. More than one person, including myself, left frustrated. Checked in online? Doesnt matter, you still have to wait. When I spoke to one staffer about it, he told me they got a lot of calls offs, as if their inability to staff the store adequately is the customers problem. This isnt the first time. Uhaul Riverside has lost my business and shouldnt get yours.

Ive installed a hitch for my Subaru. On a separate date, I also rented a trailer ($25 4hrs including insurance). This location is a large UHaul and typically are well equipped. One advise that the worker told me was reservation is a much much better idea when the end of the month is near. The only reason why I didnt give it a 5star is that the wait time for the transaction can drag. Dont be surprised to wait 30min for the counter. Location is on Spruce Exit (91fwy) towards the tracks underneath 215/60 overpass.

The staff was helpful and professional. The rental truck ran well and the air was cold. The wait in line took a wile on a Saturday morning. They only had one person working to check people in. Good experience. I will rent here again.

RACIST AND RUDE MANAGER! Yes, I have an accent but I speak English well and I own several moving companies. I called this location, ready to buy a few trucks. The manager, Mark, made it impossible for me to buy. He wouldnt answer my questions or tell me what the office hours are so I could literally come down to his business with cash to buy a few trucks he had. He said if I come down to buy the trucks, he was going to make it hard for me and mess up my paperwork. What the...?!

I made a reservation, arrived on time to pick up and was asked to now give references, they also needed me to go get my phone so they can see it ring, called my references, and when finally when it came to the end to pay for the truck they said they had no reservation on file and didnt have the credit card that was given to them. Believe me if I could Id give this place and staff negative stars. Absolute waste of time and gas. The staff really needs an upgrade.

Absolutely the worst U-Haul Ive ever been to. The people there are rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional I would never ever ever rent from here ever. If I could give them negative five stars, I would. I reserved a truck for the morning showed up and they said they didnt have it and I couldnt pick it up until that evening at 4:30. However, I had a confirmation that a truck was available prior to showing up. Dont trust what they say.

One of my favorite uhaul places. They have a dropbox for the keys. So I suggest to reserve the truck for 24h and return it after hours when you are done with it.

The employee helping us was extremely rude and shouldnt be working in customer service if he cant handle it, and be professional... If the employee josh is working when you walk in dont even bother. He shouldnt work with the public if he cant handle being professional .

Rented 2 different truck on 2 dates, and in out and the trucks are in good clean shape. Will use again.

Had a very bad experience because they told me they were going to give me a certain amount of store credit for the gas but when I return the truck they didnt keep their word and then an employee shows me a version of the recipe I go in talk inside the office they show me another recipe with a different amount more higher like as if they were charging me for being there than the last one and the employees dont know anything because their excuse was that they were new to the job and the employee named Frank was ignoring what I had to say and i was basically talking to a wall

Although this place has a 4 stars rate I had a bad experience I rented a truck here and returned it midnight, I was told to park it there and leave the key on this box next morning I received a call from them saying I needed to return the key so I called back because I wanted to let them know where I put the key I kept calling and calling the store and the guy answering the phone keept saying i was calling customer service but I was pretty sure it was the store I was calling because i saved the number so I had to go directly to the store and was told they found the key i was super tired from all the moving plus only slept a few hours so i just walked away without telling them they shouldve had call me back to let me know they found key so dissapointed at this place and will never recommend it
