THEY SHOWED UP and DID THE JOB! Strange company! Everyone knows that tradesmen are supposed to NOT (1) Come as promised. (2) Phone after leaving the customer waiting for hours. Very satisfied. It isnt supposed to be this way! I hope they dont get a bad reputation.

I had an problem with my sensors. Casey had a very good idea of what needed to be done to solve the problem (a 5 minute fix) and rather than charging me for a service call, he gave me his recommendation and let me try and fix it myself (it worked). I will certainly call him again if I have any major garage door issues.

Great experience......... asked them to be here before 9 as I had an appointment at 10. Casey in sales, showed up early as his tech was unavailable at that hour. He fixed my problem quickly, at a reasonable price and was out before 9:30. If I could give him a higher score than 5, I absolutely would.

We purchased a hand control garage door opener and was unable to program it . We called Overhead Door and Casey Asmussen came to ourhome and programed it for us. He had the door working in no time. Since my garage door opener brand is Overhead Door, I just called that companys Roanoke location when I had an issue with it. Im so glad I did!!! Not only did Casey provide excellent customer service while fixing the door, but he also showed me some tips and tricks that are good to know. Most importantly, I could tell that he was concerned about my familys safety in term of the door closing properly.Casey was telling me that the old Roanoke branch of Overhead Door had closed, and the number I called is a new office. I know Ill be calling them again for great customer service and help with my garage door opener in the future. Of course, I hope I wont need any help, but with the age of my home, Im sure a spring will break or something will wear out at some point. Plus, the old wooden doors I have will need to be replaced at some point, and I trust that Casey will help me choose the best option for my home. Its great to have businesses in Roanoke that can be counted on!!!

Good experience years ago, but not this time. Seemed nice the first call . They didn’t show for my appointment . An hour later, still nothing . I understand things happen but no one called . I called them to find out they weren’t coming . This was a Friday and they couldn’t reschedule me until the next Wednesday . Sorry, manners matter . Different company coming Monday .

I called 4-5 times to get a new garage door installed at our plant. Was told they had to talk to the scheduler each time I called. Never got a call back. I called Overhead in Lynchburg and they met me the next day, had the old door out and the new custom garage door installed two weeks later. Overhead of Roanoke missed out on a $5,800 job.Just call Overhead of Lynchburg if you want your job done.

My Garage door opener stopped working. I called for a service appointment every week, sometimes several times a week for almost a month, before I was called back to set up a service call appointment. When I talked to the repair man, he said my unit was discontinued and he could no longer get parts for it. He said he has just been replacing all the units with the updated version. He quoted me a price of around $650. I looked up my unit on YouTube and then bought the circuit board from the overhead door company online for $80. It took me less than ten minutes to repair. It works great!

I called multiple times asking to talk to somebody for a quote for a garage door. This is a job we are doing out of town and i dont have the luxury or driving to their office to speak with them. I called 3 times and sent 3 emails over the coarse of 4 weeks and was told they would get back to me after taking down all my information. This is terrible service to say the least.

They need to get organized. The technician (Al Cook) is the only good part of my experience. He was friendly and seemed knowledgable. Overhead Door ordered a part for me and it took over a month to get it installed. They never contacted me about the part, I had to call them after a month to find out what was going on. The company lost my file and paperwork.Then a few months later they came out to replace the unit and thought that I received a new remote from them in the past, which I didnt. This company must not keep any paperwork on their customers.

When my garage door keypad stopped working, Chris was able to schedule a time to come by and made the necessary repairs all within a 24 hour window. Thanks, Chris!

Initial service call to have my garage door repaired was in September 2018. Serviceman came out and told me he would write the ticket and they would be back in a week to fix the door. After multiple calls and messages left finally spoke to someone at the end of November who said “ oh sorry, your paperwork got buried under my desk, I’ll get someone out there next week.” Second service call happened at the beginning of December and it was like Groundhog’s day all over. Same serviceman, same assessment done, same line of give it a week and they will be back to fix it. Here we are in the second week of January and my door is still broken!!!! I’ve called once a week to speak with Charlie the owner and every time he is Miraculously too busy to talk to me!I would highly suggest NOT using this company unless you have months and months to sit and wait with a broken door and just really love poor customer service!!!!!

They not very organized for a door company. Took them forever to get my garage door done and it still not done. Very Disappointed. Don’t waste your time.

2 Months after order placed at Home Depot and they still cant find my order or get the doors installed. Maybe they need to discover what a computer can do??

Wont even return your call! Purchased $9k worth of garage doors, prepaid thru Home Depot on 4/8/19 and three months later still no garage doors installed. Very unorganized, rude and doesnt know what the term customer service means.

Great doors at a great price. Just replaced my old ones from same company after 30 years.
