I purchased 5 online because 2 werent sold in stores. 3 of the 5 were weird. (Charmander, light fury, Angel from Lilo and stitch, Toothless and Scar from the lion king) One was over stuffed and 2 were under stuffed with voice boxes that sounded broken. I took the 3 into this store. They were fixed free of charge. They look MUCH better now.I love it here. I wish the online exclusives were sold in store because this place is Wonderful and it would give them more customers.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! Had my 2012 Sock Monkey bright back to life! So excited to be able to give him to my grandson with 2 new voices and a heartbeat and new outfits. The ladies were amazing, especially the surgeon who also offered to stitch up his bottom. Good as new!

Awesome store. The people make the store great 100% some stores you go into and you see the people working there that dont want to deal with children. The people here looked happy to help make the children feel special when they came in to pick out their special friend!

Great place. My son got a pokemon made for him and he has not stopped talking about it. Its his favorite thing in the world.

My wife and I enter the store and the 3 ladies where standing at thier counter. Completely rude right off the back! And i went to ask for help and one of the girls said in a rude and judgemental look on her face was enough for us to never return thier our son turns 2 in August and loves build a bear. I rather drive to another out of my way then to step foot in there. Unhappy

We took my daughter here for her birthday, we had a little family party and ended the day with BAB, we bought 4 stuffies. Two Pokemon ones a Toothless and a cat. The stuffer was all about the pokemon animals, when it came ti toothless and the cat not so much, the stitching was visible on Toothless and the cat is now open where she was supposed to sew it. My daughter loves to sleep with her stuffed animals and now that the stuffing is exposed on the cat she cant do that. BAB is over an hour away from home, so just popping in for a fix isnt that easy. And frankly, shouldnt have to. Would not recommend.

Ive never been to Build A Bear. It came along after I was far too old to appreciate it. As a late life mom, I found our experience absolutely magical. We won a pay your age golden ticket, but I would gladly pay full price to revisit the incredible staff and heartfelt fun at the Valley View mall store. I didnt get everyones name. The person who made our monkey was very loving and patient with a three year old who was enchanted. And, Salem, who aided us in checking out, was amazing. Id happily go back the hour plus to Roanoke and pay full price. The heart ceremony is especially touching. I do wish there had been a larger selection, but it was pay your age week, so who can complain. Besides, my babe was in love with monkey before we even began looking. Great staff at Valley View.

We had a GREAT experience at this Build-A-Bear location! Im not sure the name of the gentleman who helped us with our bear, but he was so friendly and made sure that our daughter was happy and let her participate in helping stuff the animals, and even took extra time so she could kiss the heart and make a wish. She really enjoyed it. Kudos to this team in Roanoke!

We took advantage of the pay your age event at BAB today. After waiting in line for 7 hours, I was very pleased when we got into the store. Evey staff member we encountered was kind, professional, and helpful. They made sure my kids both had a good experience, and it really made all the difference. I know the staff members had a very long day, so for them to smile, use manners, and be engaged with us when we finally got to them was great. Thank you all for making our first time to your store a good one. We loo forward to being back in the future!

They made my 14 year old baby girl feel like a little kid again! (In a good way) It helped my daughter and I to bond and give her a peice of her childhood that was taken away back! Thank you build a bear for helping my daughter and I rebuild our relationship though building a bear!!( sloth to be exact)❤

We always love going here. This one in particular is great! They are always so helpful and nice to our kids.

Every time we go to this Build-A-Bear location we find the employees to be helpful and enthusiastic. Their desire to do their job and serve the customer is refreshing. We appreciate the personal attention they work hard to give to everyone who comes into the store.

This was a return visit with our granddaughters from a time with our daughters to build bears to continue a tradition. They were have a 2 for 35 on now we know a very few select bears and when you have your girls with two very different taste it’s so very hard to find two that both were on the special. So ask about one nope ask about another yes but when we went to pay for then after a wait for over an hour we are told at the register that hey one of them aren’t the special. The next words out of her mouth were would you like to go back pick another and go through the entire process again. When you have 2 small children that have their heart set on the ones they have already picked out dress and so on. Yeah right that would fix everything. So yes it cost 65 for something that should have only been 35. Nice build a bear that one way to be sure to get your money. I was already upset because when the girls went to stuff their bear the man working the stuffing machine had one of the worst colds ever and he was wiping his nose on his shirt and on his hands then touching the girls bear. Bear shower yesI will NEVER GO BACK!

Build-A-Bear was really cool. It was our first time there, staff was very friendly and courteous. They help you through every step making sure your child is getting what They want. Just watch out for the extras. Thats where they getcha.

Great place. Selection of stuffed animals was limited but still plenty to choose from. Staff was friendly and worked great with kids.

Got home bears fell apart

This place is one of the biggest money rackets I have ever seen. We would up paying $53 for a Marshall from paw patrol. He got beating heart and voice chip. My son loves it(for now) but really its just a cheap ass stuffed animal. Also all of the employees were sick and really tried up selling every single thing. Didnt try to help us find how to save much money. Will never begoing back to this wretched place again.

My grandchildren received gift cards for Christmas and loves to build their own bears. I forgot how cute the different stations to groom and dress their new bears were.

I love build-a-bear I definitely suggest it for kids, I own 10 build-a-bears and I will be back! Also build-a-bear Has medical care for your bears, so if they get damaged dont you worry they will fix it and if they cant fix it in store, they will send it out of state to a build a bear hospital!

One year I took my son to the mall for trick-or-treat all the stores gave my son candy except Build-A-Bear they stuck a sticker for Build-A-Bear on his bucket to advertise for their store but no candy unreal

Kids love it here but not cheap at all.
