I was visiting Rochester from out if state when my fuel pump was needing to be replaced. I was frantic and Tom from the Ford Department kindly directed me to Cortese Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep. From the start everyone at Cortese, whether directly associated with the repair of my car or not, was kind and helpful answering any question I had. My service coordinator Rob was prompt in answering my questions. and so helpful! I can say, without hesitation, that this was the best experience I have had with a mechanic and would most certainly recommend their services to anyone needing them.
Called the dealer on Friday and picked the SUV up Saturday was a super easy process. Rick Riola was the Salesman and everything was upfront and ready to go when I pulled in. Finance was smooth and not pushy. No question easy transaction and a 5 star dealer.
During online check in there were options you could select for additional services, I selected topping off DEF fluid for a price of 16.99. after all service was done the service person told me it was 59.99 to top off the DEF fluid, I had to put my foot down and say Im not paying that, that is complete false advertisement, he did credit me the difference. And after all that I noticed they didnt even top off the fluid. So just be careful if use this place for any service
Everytime Ive gone to Cortese with my service plan for oil changes they have trouble bringing up my information. The first time they even insisted on charging me only to refund me a few days later after theyd sorted it out, & just this last time I had a long back & forth with a guy who barely trusted the paperwork I brought back upon pick-up. So much that he tried to tell me my plan had expired a few months ago so I would have to pay for the service today - until I pointed out the clearly printed expiration year listed as 2023. After all that I returned home to find a long scuff on the roof of my car, Im guessing from being up on the jack & slamming into something. The oil change was fine but the attention to detail is sorely lacking. Ill be servicing somewhere else going forward.
The service advisors are awesome. They listen to my concerns and issues and explain everything to me about what repairs need to be done with my truck. They also kept me up to date about the status of there progress. Kevin in the rental department went above and beyond to make sure a had a rental and didnt miss any work
I responded to a prompt on the website. Staff called to inquire on when I might visit and which vehicle I was interested in. The one I wanted to look at was gone but they had others. Their inventory is really good despite the used car shortage we keep hearing about. Todd helped me and was quick, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! We will be going back in a few months for my daughter to get into a different car. We will ask for Todd again without a doubt!

This was my first vehicle purchase and everything at Cortese went very smoothly... I love my new jeep! The process was very smooth and they got me a car well within my price range and treated me very kindly. Som feedback is the car was still in ship mode when I went to test drive the vehicle so I was unable to turn on the A/C and view the touchscreen display. As I had already did a lot of research previously I knew the amenities I desired once I arrived. I was able to test drive purchase and drive away with my new jeep in the same day. I arrived at 10:15pm and was driving away at about 2:30pm. The team was very friendly and helpful, and finance gave there utmost honesty which I appreciated. Thank you Cortese!

Do not take your vehicle to Cortese, especially if your a woman. I took my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee to be diagnosed and fixed. My truck would hesitate to start after being driven or start after sitting for 30 minutes. I was told I needed an alternator, battery, and a flush service, totaling $1174.00 (sad). I took my car to another automotive shop and was told my truck needed a battery only and that there was nothing wrong with the alternator.

It did take a little longer than expected for an oil change, tire rotate, and New York State inspection than I anticipated. However my car was taken in right on time and the delay was explained. Everyone is very friendly and very helpful at Cortese jeep. My experience with them every time has been pleasant and friendly. They are very clean and especially after our recent Covid quarantine, I felt that my safety and their’s was top on the list.

I had a appointment on 3/13 at 1:30pm for an oil change (which they nicely changed to that time because at first I made appointment at 10am) I arrived a little early however Rob came out (with mask over nose and mouth ++) advised me he will have in and out in no time. Well he did, I believe it was less than half an hour when Rob came to the waiting room letting me know my car is all set. Awesome!

My 2020 Durango is about 10 months old and it was acting a little weird. I called Cortese dodge while I was sitting in the truck and they got me right in for the next day. After checking everything out they reassured me that the vehicle was fine. I was in and out of there within an hour. Great service at arrival and departure and the mechanic was awesome.

I took my 2020 Ram in for a NYS inspection and received prompt and courteous service.
Well my car is a 2020. I have been having issues with the check engine light coming on. When i first visited this service department the intake guy told me work may not be covered under warranty if an animal caused the damage. Got that work done and now check engin light came back on less then a week later. Now they wont cover my work under warranty because a bird made a nest in the fan part of my car. Now mind u i drive my car all day. And this is nearly impossible. Not to mention yesterday when i dropped my car off the rental guy said the same thing just happened to his car. His fan was constantly running. I highly doubt this is from a bird. Any suggestions?

I brought my Jeep Wrangler there to possibly make a trade and they kept my Jeep overnight and let me have the trade overnight. When we got our Jeep back we discovered that several items were missing out of it so we reported it to the sales manager and we were told basically that anyone could have just came up to my Jeep and stole those things because I have a soft top. When the jeep was picked up all the doors were unlocked never doing business or recommending this dealership again.Chris, this is Samantha Cortese. We just spoke at the dealership. I am sorry that those items are missing from your vehicle but we are not responsible. I spoke with jay and he parked your car and said it was locked. You have manual locks and a soft top so there are many ways to get into the vehicle. It would be no different than if your vehicle was in any parking lot. For that amount it would be a matter for your insurance company.And then I am told they have no video survielance on their lot.
I originally did not buy my Jeep here, but this is where they service it. This is the second or third time for a major issue like trying to find out what a sound is, outside of a basic oil change. This time is just like the others where I pay a lot of money to get something fixed, and it is not on the first attempt. I have to bring my truck back every time. ⁰ On the other hand, I feel like this time is different than the other time because I paid a little over $600 for rotors, oil change, tire rotation etc, and when I pulled off the lot, my tires were squeaking. This is not the sound I had to originally bring it in, but was told that my breaks could have contributed. Ok. I call back in and get my service guy, and the lady that schedules the appointments, and ask then both for a loaner and was given the Well..I have to get permission to give you one, and We dont have any to give...I was told that I would need to bring my truck back in (such an inconvenience) without a way to get around. They held my truck until about 1230 the next day, to tell me that they are ordering a different type of break..i believe manufactured breaks, which are on a 2 week backorder by the way, and the way it was described is they are more than what I paid for, but they will give them to me anyways (as if they were doing me some type of favor). I didnt like that. I dont appreciate the inconvenience. I dont like the we cant help you even though we messed up attitude. I told these people in two weeks I wont be able to being it back in because Im getting surgery. I literally paid 600 for an oil change and tire rotation.

The best experience ever at a dealership! I drove 90 minutes to check out a particular Ram that I had followed for a while. I was met at the door by Daniel the sales mgr and he introduced me to Chloe the sales person that would take care of me. Chloe was very professional and personable. My Dodge Durango (2011) was giving me all kinds of problems I decided to give Cortese dodge a chance. I had major engine work to be done! They didn’t rush! They thoroughly went through my vehicle told me everything I needed to be done it took about a week, like I said major engine work I’m very satisfied my vehicle runs smooth and I’m very happy !!!… PART TWO took my vehicle back to Cortese Dodge 09/29/2021 .. they fixed it again runs good!! Had it fixed in a day or two! I do trust them … no problems the two times they had it
Worst dealership I have ever dealt with. Had to go in for some service covered under warranty. Each person I spoke with and interacted with was worse than the previous associate. It took them 3 weeks to replace a radio that was covered under warranty. I was originally promised my jeep back in 2-3 days and after they were unable to deliver on that they stopped returning my calls and keeping me updating on their delays. They also managed to kill my car batteries in the process of replacing the radio. STAY CLEAR OF THEM! Nothing but problems. Worst experience ever.

Derek was a great sales person. This is car 18 for our family from Cortese. This was best smoothest transaction yet.For my bad back the Pacifica was a perfect choice.Update. Derek found a second fob for my car and called me. So now I have both which is wonderful.Even got compliments from Ziebart people how great the van is.
I was not satisfied with the service provided to me at Cortese service. When I bought my Jeep from there, I was never notified about the charges for warranty inspections, so therefore buying the extension to the warranty was a complete waste of my money. The service department was lax, rude, and did not address all the needs that needed to be addressed. Not only will I NOT be bringing my car there for service ever again, I will most certainly NEVER purchase a vehicle from there. I have made that clear to my hospital staff, colleagues, students, family, and friends. Your customer service overall, both in sales and repairs is beyond need of its own repair. Your management really needs to remind people what kindness and customer service truly entail. I suggest a routine meeting as a reminder. I have encouraged people to buy elsewhere and they have. You have definitely lost a lot of business from your lack of communication and rude attitudes.
The guys went above and beyond yet again. Not a difficult job but labor intensive. Lisa the appt work tirelessly for weeks to get me.in. Gary helped me over the phone and that speaks volumes.

Brought my 1998 5-speed Jeep Wrangler in to get the clutch pedal looked at. The pedal was zip tied together and I barley got it there. They charged me $500 and as I was leaving I realized that the pedal was still zip tied together telling me that they never even looked at the problem.
I arrived for my appointment at 9 A.M and was told it would take half hour for the diagnostic test to be run. I went for breakfast at a local restaurant and came back( approximately one hour had passed), let me add in here that when I explained to the gentleman who checked me in that I was stepping out to get something to eat he reassured me that they would call me with the diagnostic results not to worry about leaving. After breakfast and a hearty walk I returned to the garage with no results for the diagnostic test. It was approximately 2.5 hrs later I received the results. I was then given a list of things that needed to be repaired. I went ahead and had some of the items fixed. Again I was given a time for the repairs.... this was left fairly open “sometime after lunch” . Finally at approximately 2:30 I saw my car pulled into the parking lot . Yeah I could finally leave, or so I thought, but, this was not the case! About 15 minutes after seeing my car I sent a text to the gentleman who I was working with and asked what the issue was. His reply was that the mechanic was wrapping up the paperwork . 45 minutes later I was told I could leave. Why it took so long for the paperwork is still a mystery to me!My other issue with Cortese is.... earlier this summer I took my car there to have the tires rotated. They did this fairly quickly. I was pleased! The issue came later that weekend, I drove out to help my brother who his a double amputee and heard a funky noise coming from my car. When I say funky it should like a helicopter flying over my head. I was scared something was seriously wrong with my car so I called AAA. When they came out AAA informed me that the lug nuts on the 2 front tires were only “finger tight”. I called and talked to the garage manager and explained my anger and fear. If the tires were loose and caused the tires to fall off I would have had serious issues, add in the fact I had my brother who as I said is an amputee in the car with me ..... scary! The garage manager was very sorry and said if I would give the garage a 2nd chance he would take 50% plus of my next visit. When I went to have the above mentioned issues I was told they would take $50.00 off and no plus ( not sure what the plus was) .So not only did I waste a whole day waiting I was charged a diagnostic fee, labor charges I believe from the minute they took my car into the garage even though I believe it was not being worked on and lied to about how they would compensate me.I will say that the gentleman who helped was very kind and seemed to be understanding with me and I was less than happy. I can not remember his name but he was quite kind.
I am overly satisfied! They got me out of my piece of junk car and into a new Jeep! One I’ve always dreamed of. I have had nothing but nice things to say about them!

I have 2017 dodge ram 2500 . 20k miles on it. I took my truck here for a bad nox sensor . I ended up having to bring my truck to this place 5 times total. The 3rd time I took it my 2 front rims were severely scratched. The supervisor Mike accused me of off roading and his manager came over and pretty much called me a liar. His specific words were We have people accusing us of these types of things all the time. I was delighted to find out that I was apparently one of those people. Very unprofessional and the customer service is horrendous.
Sales person was very nice. My only disappointment, as a returning customer for the second time, I didn’t get a break on my lease purchased vehicle.More than likely I will not be returning as a third time customer.
Warranty repair. Not only did they repair what was needed but also replaced associated components at no charge. I was willing to pay but I didnt need to. They seem to be thorough and honest.
