Horrible service since they took over dorschel. Recommended to family to buy their car through them not knowing of the acquisition and its been a such a nightmare. I have been with dorschel for years, having leased multiple cars with them. Cant wait to return my lease and be done.
I had a terrific experience at Dorschel with Mark Angelo as the Salesperson. He was patient, very clear in his explanations and information that was provided for me to make a decision on turning in my first leased vehicle. He went over some of the market trends as well as the positives and negatives of each option available to me. His demeanor was friendly, open and helpful. It meant a great deal to me as a customer to be stress free to have him in my corner and I was able to come out with a great Nissan car that fit the budget and my needs. They’ve had my car for almost a month now, and that I can understand… some issues take time to work out; but they are consistently neglecting to contact me about each issue. They say I’ll call before end of day or tomorrow, no call. I call, they ask “where did we leave off”. A week ago the conversation was the car would be ready by Friday or at the latest Monday, but no call came, so I call…there’s a new issue, they’ll let me know. 4 days… no call, and no answer to my calls. If they don’t have the time to do the work that’s one thing, but stop telling me you’ll let me know if you won’t. My car has been there since August 2nd.
Have bought and serviced my VWs at dorschel for years. Fast and efficient service and never been disappointed.This visit was my first in a while as my VW has been in storage since last winter. It is now Bob Johnston although they haven’t bothered to take the dorschel signs down. There are no longer shuttles or food while your car is serviced. Did not realize this until I was already checked in so I had to get an Uber to work. I also know prices go up but two times the price is a significant increase for the same routine maintenance. Will no longer drive out of the way for “dealer service” if all the conveniences of a dealer are gone and I can pay less to my guy at the import shop for doing the same job with better mechanics. Will not be back.

His answer was did you have good snow tires, with some snow tires you should be fine, your car is in great shape, he told me.I really like the fact that, he did not try to sell me something; but he rather guided me toward the decision. Henrietta, Dorschel, is closer my home, nice waiting room, staff is cordial. For few things, I wish I can find someplace better, they are very expensive for every small things they do, although I cant compare to any other as this is the only place I have been so far. Second thing is cant get appointment time sooner, it takes weeks, on top you pay a handsome amount for the fix. This is the first time, I felt it was smooth drive, as if something was really fixed. Everytime I go the prices are higher than what was last paid, sometimes for the same service. Salary does not rise likewise.
I had the most amazing experience with ALLEN G! Not only was he able to help me get into a car, he was able to get me into an amazing Nissan Sentra which I never thought I could get. He was very understanding and so professional! He made the entire car buying process quick and easy! I highly recommend anybody to go see him. HE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!
Say good-bye to the great service Dorschel had provided its customers. We called to get an oil change, and were told it will be up to a month to get in. Really, for an oil change? Time to trade our vehicle in.
I purchased the exact vehicle I inquired about without hassle (I went in with my own financing). The salesperson that helped me was very knowledgeable and made the process quick. I visit frequently by appointment for service to my vehicle and the service is always convenient and timely. I really appreciate the brief cleaning of my vehicle after they service it.
Gives you one place to look at several different brands
Prices aren’t negotiable on used cars. I payed full cash. I tried to negotiate a cheaper price but was told that they put the lowest price marked. I also noticed one of the rims was damaged and tried to negotiate that but it was priced as is. They should put used cars are not negotiable on website so people know ahead of time so they can decide if they want to go here. I see what other reviewers mean about staff being gossipy and chatty. Besides that the process of purchasing the car went smoothly.
If I could give zero stars I would. I have never had my time wasted as much as I have with Dorschel. Nor have I ever felt so disrespected by a company. I walked in to the dealership on a Wednesday afternoon after working a full day, because I found a truck on their website that peaked my interest. I sat down with Sean Spahn who informed me that the truck that had brought me in had just sold. No big deal I wasnt upset, no one knew I was coming in. Sean then showed me a couple other truck that fit what I was looking for. One of those trucks, a Tacoma, was perfect. I fell in love with. We walked through the Carfax and he showed me a similar truck. Due to the fact Im only 19 I was informed that I wouldnt be able to test drive by myself and would need to find someone over the age of 21 to come with me. After finishing my conversation I left, telling Sean I would find someone to come with me and would be back for a test drive soon. That night I sent Sean I text saying I could be in Thursday morning, the next day with someone. He informed me that that was his day off and asked if another day worked. Together we settled on Saturday morning at 11. Thursday and Friday go by and I am getting quite excited about this truck. Im at the point of if the test drive goes well I will buy I then and there. I already had financing and money for a down payment, so it would have been smooth sailing. Saturday morning comes around and I get a text from Sean at 9:24 confirming the test drive and appointment for 11. I confirm and start getting ready to go. I pull into the dealership around 10:58ish and show my mother, who came with me as my over 21 person, a similar looking Tacoma and she agrees its a truck that would fit me. Around 11:03 I check my phone to see where Sean is because we were meeting at 11 and I have a text from him informing me that I would need to meet him at his home dealership because the Tacoma sold earlier that morning. I was livid. Not only had he confirmed with me less than 2 hours before, but he told me over text message. I took a min to compose myself before driving to the other location and telling him that I would not be buying a vehicle from Dorschel. I informed him that if I had test drove the vehicle on Thursday I probably would have driven it off the lot Friday morning. He was too concerned with doing it himself and getting the sale that he lost a customer. I felt very disrespected and like my time was wasted. When money and sale come before people, its obvious, and Dorschel shows it
Their techs have to do a better job. Left my cabin air filter cover out. I asked them to inspect interior and exterior lights. They said everything was fine, when I knew I had connection problems. They pulled the car out then I showed them where cover for my cabin air filter and the problem with my lights so they pulled my vehicle back in. Didnt also 7 hours there.
Way over over priced for tires and everything else don’t be fooled buy on line these people bloodsucking.

We bought a 2021 habareno orange Jetta. It’s a grand place and my husband wanted to run out. He believed a new car was only for the rich. He kept expecting some upsell and they would add some hidden charges. But no, they didn’t.Being on a tight budget, I didn’t think it was possible but Joseph Hess (Joe Hess) made it. I got the car just as I dreamt at the fair price.He even volunteered to waive off the installation charges for certain accessories as they would work to fix it themselves and I was 200 dollars under my already tight budget.The best part of Dorschel was:- they followed the KBB and determined the fair price and also mentions the range on their website-they do not upsell your bank rate that you were approved . I got 0 percent APR.- I am shocked with the tradein value of our old Jetta 2006 model. That was huge to me and it made the car affordable.May be years down the line, money may not be an issue but now when it is, dorschel ( joe in particular) helped us realize that dreams are possible on tight budget and I don’t have to compromise.Thanks Joe.

Price is not negotiable on used cars. Look for damage that is not listed on car history report...they will not adjust price even after heavy damage is found that was hidden or covered up. I do not know for sure but I got the impression that even after knowing a vehicle has an issue, they do not self report it to the next buyer....buyer beware!!! Do a seperate inspection by an third party before purchasing. We almost got hosed on a van that had been in a serious accident despite the report listing no previous damage....*****As you will see in a comment below...they state that I did not speak with a sales associate...that is untrue...we spoke to one on-site while looking at the van and then contacted the office to speak with another as well...please take note!!...we gave them a chance to do the right thing...they chose not to.

I live on the other side of the country and received an email from one the the sales people here about a loan agreement for a vehicle. I then called the dealership to ask why I received this email in case it was some sort of fraud. I was given the run around and people argued that it would not be possible to have received the email. They then accused me of having done the paper work then moving across the country, after informing them Ive lived here for 26 years they then hung up on me.Im not sure how they do business with customers but if it were my money Id go somewhere else and who knows,this could be my money and I have no idea.

They most certainly didnt read my review, because I clearly stated that another dealer gave me the exact same thing - there is nothing special or unique about what they do.They also told me to contact them with any questions. I would, but unfortunately the last time I tried to work with them on a vehicle I was told, and I quote, it seems that our company does not fit the way you would like to purchase a vehicle by one representative, and We understand the way we do business is not for everyone by another. This was in response to me asking them to make a deal on a vehicle that had been sitting on their lot for 2 months and exponentially dropping in price.These statements are unprofessional at best, and a scary look into how their employees are trained.I was also told that that they were having absolutely no problems moving our inventory at our published prices, which is laughable because I refreshed the vehicle I was interested in the very next day on their website and it had dropped another $500. Let me give a direct example:Dorschel and another dealer had the exact same Rogue on their lot - same packages, same trim, same year (both new) - same everything. I gave Dorschel and this other dealer the following criteria for a quote on a monthly payment.3 year lease, 12,000 miles/year, $2000 downDorschels quote: $430DealerX: $365In fact, the other dealer got me into a Murano SL for barely more than what Dorschel quoted me for the Rogue, so I ended up going with that (same money down and same mileage). This was with ZERO dealing, negotiating, or hassling, and at a fair price - all of the things Dorschel claims to do exclusively.The other dealer also offered to drive my new vehicle 50 miles to Rochester for me and pick up my old lease. If this is what working with a commissioned salesperson gets me - sign me up. A reminder again that there was ZERO negotiation or back-and-forth on any of this - zero.This is not a one-off instance either - this has happened every single time Ive attempted to work with Dorschel over the last 4-5 years. They have a large and expansive inventory but their business model is built off of hoping that people havent done their research and up charging those who are afraid to ask for a fair price. I strongly encourage anyone to - at the very least - get a few comps before working with Dorschel.

I went into Dorschel Nissan to trade in my 2017 Nissan Rogue lease early. I was set up with Joe Yanda in sales, who then proceeded to go above and beyond during our time together. I unfortunately had a dent in my vehicle I was turning in, and when asking about the cost to repair, Joe went with me to the collision center to get an estimate on the repairs. We both decided it was best to go through an insurance claim to repair the damages as it would be most cost effective, and even offered to pay my first months payment to make up for having to pay my deductible. As I dealt with insurance and the claims adjuster, Dorschel held my new car for me while we waited for repairs on my trade in. It took almost two weeks for the insurance and collision shop to get everything situated, and Joe continued to keep in touch and make sure all my paper work was complete and set for me to come sign when my car was finished. This will be my third lease through Dorschel, and definitely wont be the last!

This is my third experience with buying a car from a dealership, and this was by far the best experience. Easy, informative and no pressure. I worked with Scott Kelly-Murphy and would send any of my friends to work with him, hands down. Every car buying experience should be this easy and enjoyable for the price you are paying. And as a side note, from talking to a few other salesmen, I believe Dorschel hires the most likable people in the industry. I am in retail management and understand hiring is no easy task. Dorschel has definitely figured out how to hire, and their staff is superior to all those I have experienced at other dealerships in the past. And I love my new car. Thank you Dorschel. I will be back in a few years.
I wasnt sure what to expect for my first car buying experience, but I was pleasantly surprised. Michael Saunders was personable, punctual, and honest. We never felt pressured and he made our trips to Dorschel enjoyable. His communication was top-notch, and two days after my first test drive we drove off the lot happy customers in our new truck. Overall a great experience. I applaud people that do what they do well, and Michael definitely came through.
I contacted Dorschel no less than three (3) times over ten (10) days regarding a luxury SUV they showed as having in stock. Not once did I receive a response by either phone or email. Perhaps they are so successful they do not need customers?I contacted another local dealer and purchased the same year and model vehicle. I wont bother with Dorschel on our future vehicle purchases.

I had a great experience at Dorschel working with Brett Donahue as my sales consultant. He walked me through different options of purchasing a used car and leasing. I met with him a couple of times before I made my decision, and he was very knowledgeable and patient. I ended up leasing a 2013 Camry, and I received a call from Brett a day after I made this decision saying that he had found the same car (different color) at a cheaper price! Shout out to an exemplary employee,After replacing my tail light bulbs (incorrectly) myself I drove up to the service center because I thought I ruled out everything that could be wrong. Luckily I had the help of Dalton M. “Express Service Advisor,” who took the time to listen and empathize with me; the last thing I wanted was to pay for an hour of mechanic labor. Dalton asked me the right questions to make sure I had the ability to fix my own issue before recommending service. His honesty and customer service skills saved me time and money. Im not a fan of car buying, let me start by putting that out there right away. But lest anyone think this review is going to go South, please dont. It is exactly because it isnt an activity I look forward to that my review should resonate with what I believe to be a large portion of the population.Because my first and most important goal in the car buying process is to make it as short and fruitful as possible, an element of trust plays a heavy role. But trust, has to be earned, and I must tell you that my wife Maria and I leased exactly the vehicle we wanted at Dorschel Automotive Group with the great help of William Barish. It was painless, because it was quick but without taking away any of the care required when making this kind of investment. We felt we ended up with exactly what we wanted, and what we needed. This is now the third vehicle we have leased from Dorschel and it will most certainly not be the last.

Looking for a used car we stopped here first, the salesman that helped us, Joe, was very friendly and willing to help! Though we checked out a few other dealerships in the area it was clear the the product had the best selection at Dorschel and we shortly returned! The process was made easy by the attentive staff and long story short- I love my new-old car. A few days after purchase I received a follow up call just to make sure I was satisfied and I surely am! I would recommend Dorschel to anyone looking for great product with low hassle.
Disappointed, is the way I feel about my Dorschel purchase. The sales associate I worked with seemed knowledgeable and friendly, even willing to go the extra mile by ordering my vehicle from another dealer as their supply was very low. Saturday the vehicle arrived and the paperwork and money was put down. It was scheduled for a Monday pick up, I was feeling very excited and confident in the whole process.But later Saturday, 2 minutes before the dealership was going to close. I get an email from my salesman saying there was a mistake in the paperwork and that I’d have to eat almost $800 in extra costs. He also insinuated that it was my fault in that same email. And just ended it with “Im sorry and see you Monday.” No call. How completely unprofessional of this associate and of their manager as well. I should have gotten a call to tell me what had happened. I was livid, as was my wife, as she was also involved in the process. I responded by canceling the sale, and asking for my money back.Because the dealership was closed on Sunday I had started to search again for this vehicle elsewhere. On Monday I hear back from the sales manager, apologizing for this salesman’s mistake. He could secure my original deal and threw in a roof rack for my troubles. So I agreed.When I went in for pick up with the manager though, the paperwork was still wrong. The manager also felt pushy like he just wanted me out the door. The salesman did come over to apologize, although it was evident that it wasn’t sincere from his tone. And when I looked over a few minutes later he and another salesman were boisterously laughing at his desk. I can honestly say I regret buying this vehicle at all, as I feel like I’ve rewarded poor practices.Between my wife and I, we’ve purchased 6 cars in a row through Dorschel. But never again. Your customer service and lack of professionalism doesn’t warrant our continued business.
My Husband and I recently purchase a used 2013 Rogue from Jason Colino at Dorschel, and could not be more happy. As many of the other posts state, if your looking for a low pressure shopping experience, this is the place for you. Second, the pricing was amazing! And finally, Jason was a pleasure to work with. We came in informed and knowing exactly what we wanted and he did all he could to not only get us into the vehicle we were looking for, but to make the sale as seamless as possible. He kept in close contact with me the days prior to my delivery and had me email him a lot of needed documents (driver license, insurance cards, etc) so that the whole delivery of the car took less than an hour! So impressive. I also really appreciated his honesty while looking over different warranties. He is an excellent salesperson without being at all pushy. I will definitely be buying all my cars from here! :)
I live in buffalo so I asked if they could send me a quick video of the car because I didn’t wanna waste gas drinving an hour and a half to see a car I didn’t want. Nobody would do this simple task for me so I went to go see the car on the weekend and my luck it was sold... nobody told me and it wasn’t put down on the website. Also a complete main to find any car in the dealership. Don’t waste your time with these guys

My experience with Dorschel Automotive group was very disappointing at best. I found a vehicle I was very interested in hopefully purchasing. So I called and set up an appointment to come down after work to test drive and check it out. After going to the first location on Henrietta Rd and talking with a secretary and a member of the sales staff and wasting a 1/2 hour of my life they told me I was in the wrong location. The first question I asked the second I walked in the door. I went to the next location down the street. I went into the building closest to the huge sign saying used cars and was informed it was the infinity dealer. So went to the third location. After stumbling around looking for a warm body to help me I had to interrupt a couple of sales staff who were sitting in and office more interested in talking about their upcoming weekend then in helping. Luckily a person helped me from a few offices over who heard my story and said there would be a sales person with me in just a moment. I gave the sales person the color copy of the car I downloaded from the internet. After 45 minutes of his trying to locate the car he couldnt find it. He suggested we grab a car and drive around and look for it. So I said call me tomorrow when you find it and I realized my 80mile (round trip) to drive the car was a waste of my time. So the sales man said he was going to text or call me when he found the car and could provide me with some information I asked for before making the long drive again and set up another appointment to drive the vehicle. The next day the dealership called and said I had a 12 noon appointment to drive the vehicle. He never called and I was working so I got the message at 5:00pm when I got out of work. I got home looked the vehicle up and this time the mileage was 58,000 more mi than when it was first displayed on the website. I would not recommend Dorschel to anyone in their right mind It was a terrible experience and gives a dealership a bad name. Dorschel get your act together your awful!!!!
I am very pleased with the overall experience that I had at Dorschel Group. Buying a car is my least favorite thing to do. Everyone was very helpful and made the experience a much smoother task. I feel that my salesperson John Coleman was exceptionally patient with me while I made a very difficult decision regarding my purchase.Meanwhile Josh was very helpful with the financing questions and final paperwork.I was very impressed with the treatment that I got the moment I walked in the door.Thanks you everyone at Dorschel. Great buying experience with Dorschel Toyota, Frank Montalbano is a true professional, he was very helpful and courteous and patient with me. Did research on on Toyota dealers in Rochester and by far Dorschel is the best! glad I made the decision to buy my hybrid Camry there. Also glad I bought Camry because of the money I save on gas, unbelievable! everything about it is great.

It was a pleasant car-buying experience. Vincent Epping was very helpful and honest. Dorschel offers the lowest price so there wont be back-and-forth negotiation needed, thats great! I did check some other dealerships around Rochester, like Dorschel claimed, they offer the lowest price for the used Toyota cars!
I would never go anywhere else but Dorschel! My family has bought 5 cars from Dorschel. The sales department is great,the service department is absolutely wonderful!!! If you want great service never go anywhere else.
Kudos to Alison (sp?) for awesome Customer Service today. We came in for an oil change and she was awesome courteous and efficient. She greeted us with a big smile and kept smiling even when she told us it was a 1.5 -2 hour wait. Her brightness convince es is to stay and wait in the comfortable waiting room with cafe. Excellent service from the used sales department. We just purchased our 4th used car from this location - we would highly recommend. However whenever weve brought cars for service, we felt like we were being taken advantage of, or the sales person was unable ton answer our questions. I would recommend purchasing cars here but not having them serviced.

Do NOT do business with these people. I talked to them on Tuesday to set a “VIP appointment” for Thursday in regard to a specific vehicle. It is an hour and a half from my house, so I had to drive down to check the vehicle out. 15 minutes before my “VIP appointment” the manager calls and says the vehicle was sold. He was unsympathetic about my commute and couldn’t tell me more than 15 minutes in advanced. Very unprofessional way of doing business. I would not recommend them to anyone.

My husband and I spent at least a week going over different car options to reduce the amount we were spending on gas. We finally decided on a Prius C Two because it had the best options and price for what we were looking for. When we got there Keith Johnson took care of us. I believe it was the first time Ive gone car shopping that I didnt feel suckered into paying for something I didnt need. We knew what we wanted and he gave us the best price for us. We already knew that their window prices were lower. Keith explained that they got rid of the haggling and the sales people get paid for the sale, not what you buy, so they arent trying to push you to pay for something you cant afford. Keith walked us through step by step and we were very happy in the end. Id go back again when we need another car and recommend this place to anyone looking to purchase a car! Just ask for Keith! I had an amazing good experience at Dorschel Toyota! I went in to look at a car that got sold minutes before I got there. However I had the pleasure of working with Michael Mulvaney. He was pretty awesome. He gave me all the options that would best suite me and allowed me to make a decision without feeling like I was being rushed. He took the time to work with me whenever I had questions with and open door policy that extended to days when he wasnt even working. Mike was recommended to me by a friend and I am please to say that I would recommend working with him to any and everyone. My experience was truly customer service at its best. Honestly when I went to Dorschel Toyota and explained my situation to Mike and told him what I needed, the feedback I got made me feel like I wasnt just another business deal, It made me feel like I actually mattered and that he would do all he can to help me, which he did! Leased a vehicle this week and have to say it was a lot better experience than some others I have had, worked with Curtis Williams and he was very informative and to the point, none of the I have to go talk to the Manager there was a price, payment options etc.. all in front of me on a computer. Curtis made the process as pain free as it can be.

Very attentive personel. Eric was genuinely interested to our needs and suggested lots of solutions. He arranged for a few test drives and called before and after deal to make sure that everything was OK.
I would give them a 5 star but after hearing they no longer give us free lunch on Saturday due to people who came in to eat without getting service messed it up for the rest of us.. This idea of eating lunch for free made me a regular customer giving my business to them over anyaothrr place. Heres a solution give customers a voucher to receive lunch its what they should have done from the start. I probably will go to cheaper place and closer. Until they reinstate lunch again oh well.
