Great local mechanic. They were able to fit me in same day for a last minute alignment before a trip. Got the car done faster than estimated and the car drives perfectly straight now. Reasonable prices too, highly recommend. Parking lot is a little run down, but dont let the looks deceive you.

The new owner Edison really knows how to run a business and keep a customer coming back went to get my water pump changed and at about 4:00 I got a call stating that I needed a belt as well the owner went out of his way to go get the belt from the store since all the drivers had gone home for the day and then stayed late to finish my truck that night so I could have it for work I will be recommending this shop to all my family and friends and I will be going back for all my future auto care needs

Place is under new management and Ed is running a good straight forward business. Had an issue with my exhaust on my Jeep and he got right on it and is running great again. Place for Jeepers. ✌🏻

The wife is so sweet and nice, very professional, they was quick honest, and very friendly . I needed a new coil and spark plugs, my car was sounded and was driving ruff but after they fixed it it ran like a new car, I was super happy and greatful . Amazing, amazing work by Steve from C & C - CANNOT THANK ENOUGH. We had a pretty serious situation and needed to get work done on our car ASAP on a Friday afternoon. After calling at least 10-15 auto shops, they all said they were backlogged until Tuesday or Wednesday. At first, C & C also told us they wouldnt be able to work on our car until next week, but thankfully they called us back saying they would be able to get to work that day!Steve was a lifesaver and an incredibly honest guy. We were not only impressed by how hardworking and experienced he was but also by how fair his prices were! Steve really went out of his way on a late Friday afternoon to help us out - he could have taken advantage of our situation and overcharged us, but he didnt. Definitely won our trust.Thank you so much, Steve and the folks at C & C. As the first auto shop weve used since my family moved to the Rochester area, well definitely be coming back.

Great honest work, been using since 2012 and only had good service. Been to other shops due to the situation and when Ive compared the prices, C & C is always $20-$50 under priced on parts and labor. Highly recommend. And they are proactive on checking if a recently installed part is faulty, they just gave me new rotors because they were under warranty, I didnt even notice an issue.

Great Mechanics. These guys always offer me all of the available options for any repair and explain the drawbacks or benefits of each option. They honored the warranty when a new part they installed malfunctioned and promptly fixed the problem. They always explain the work on repairs, clearly show the parts that were replaced or fixed, and explain the labor that was needed.

I am very sad to say that C & C has closed their doors. I understand that Chris is ill and has been forced to close. He and his crew have worked on my familys cars for the past fifteen years. He was not only a good and honest mechanic. Over the years he became my friend. I wish him well and I will pray for his recovery.

Great service. My car had engine problems so I took it to the guys here and explained the issue. John did a great job of explaining the problem to me once he found out what it was. I could tell he was experienced and was looking out for any additional problems along the way, but was also careful to keep the cost as low as possible. I looked up the expected cost for my problem and their quote was right on target for my vehicle, and they got it fixed in a day. I went to C & C over other nearby shops because of the favorable reviews, so I wanted to add my own pleasant experience with these friendly guys.

Bad mechanics! Cant perform a simple oil change properly! Oil leaking from both the pan an filter! Utter incompetence!! They didnt tighten the WHEEL properly when hanging a new catalytic on my brothers truck. He could have died! Shut the doors!!!

I have been to C&C Automotive with my 2008 Nissan Altima SL the last three times it needed repair and they have always done right by me. I used to take it to a couple of the chan stores just because I thought they were fair, well guess what they arent! The chains just want to sell, sell, sell, and sell you more. C&Cs prices are fair and far less than the chain stores. They dont try to force unnecessary things at you. They will let you know what needs to be done now and what can wait. They have made repairs that the chain store (rhymes with Davis) said couldnt be done, obviously because the chain store wanted the extra money. I have always been able to get in to have my vehicle worked on very quickly, one time that same afternoon.I recommend Chris and his people to everyone that asks about car repair. All my vehicles will be worked on by these great mechanics. Call around to other places and then call the best at C&C Automotive on Scottsville Rd!!

I took my car to a Dodge dealer and was told I had a leak in my coolant tube, so they topped it off with antifreeze and told me to keep if full until I was ready to get it replaced. Took my car to C&C auto for a quote and repairs when I got my car back from them; they had completely ruined the tube so that now all the antifreeze drained out like a faucet, My car ran hot immediately after turning it on, and my air conditioning no longer worked. I guess C&C Auto figured they would force me to let them fix it. The kicker was that the owner, Chris, told me the exact same thing that the Dodge dealer told me, that he had topped the coolant off and I could drive the car as long as I kept the antifreeze refilled. I was shocked when I got back in my car to see how much damage they had done and having lied to me with a straight face. Unfortunately this isnt the first time hes gotten us like this because he is the neighborhood mechanic and we wanted to be able to trust him with our cars; its really sad and disheartening that C&C auto has to stoop to such low tactics for business; we have been repeat customers despite the problems because of the convenience but they have really caused damage to many of our cars and I cannot recommend this place to anyone with a good conscious.PB

Been using C&C for about 15 years now, and refuse to take my vehicles anywhere else. Even when we moved from the 19th ward to Irondequoit three years ago, we still put the effort into taking our cars to Chris. Its a bit of a hassle, but a good mechanic is hard to find!Chris and team always work hard to minimize the costs of our repairs. For example, when I had a brake line leak a few years back, he looked to get replacements and found they would run me about $200 for aftermarket lines. So, instead they simply created new lines using raw tubing, and that cost me about $50. Its been about 5 years, and havent had a lick of trouble since.Great mechanics who know how to treat their customers right. I go out of my way to use them. You should, too.
