We went to Complete Auto Repair after my son was given a baloney story about a tire being too dusty to repair. The tire tread was excellent, the sidewalls perfect. It was just dusty. The other place then apparently thought him naïve enough that they tried to sell him 4 new tires.Complete Auto Repair, on the other hand, got us in right away, cleaned the tire, and repaired it in short order, all for less than 1/20 the cost of the new tires the other place was trying to push on my son.I appreciate the professionalism and the fact they didnt try to take advantage of someone in a tough situation. We will definitely be going back to Complete Auto Repair in the future and recommending them to others.

My mom and I were in Rochester for a Mayo Clinic stay last week. We got word that our caliper bolts might be bad, which, for obvious reasons, we were terrified our brakes would go out on our 5 hour drive home. We called Complete Auto on a whim and they got us in without an appointment to check things out. Travis and crew were super kind and were concerned about our safety. After checking the bolts out, one of the mechanics backed our car up to the door in a DOWNPOUR and wished us safe travels. 10/10 recommend these guys!

Travis and his crew are the best auto repair in Rochester!‘s To give you an idea of his honesty, I went in thinking I needed struts and told him so. I received a call after they had had a chance to look at my car and he informed me I did not need struts but I had something broken in my right front. He saved me a lot of money and could have put straps on, but instead was honest and my bill was much less.

Driving through on vacation. Had the AC motor blower and few other parts go out on my pickup. Tgdy got me in, got the parts and had me back on the road same day! Highly recommend!

I happened to here some noise from my car that sounded weird while sitting at the light by there business, which is also down the block from my house. I havent gone there in years, but figured I would swing in and see if what Im hearing is nothing or if it was something, I could set up an appointment. They took a few minutes of there time with out even asking my name, they had it figured out in minutes. No charge, no questions, just pop your hood and let me see. Told me what was wrong and how to fix it, or set up an appointment and they would take care of it..... You dont find that kind of service much more these days. I 100% recommend them and will go there for all my mechanical needs. Thank you Complete Auto Care for making it feel like 20 years ago when people act like people and helped one another.

I went in for what I thought would be a minor issue with my vehicle, that turned out to be a very complex issue. I can’t thank Travis and Complete Auto Repair enough for all their help and for getting the situation sorted out. It turned out that because my vehicle was certified pre-owned that the very expensive part I needed fixed was covered under warranty. I never would’ve known that had it not been for Travis calling to find out! I previously owned an old vehicle that ended up having a lot of issues, and I haven’t found such an honest, reasonably priced shop through all my troubles! I dreaded having to take this car into a shop as being a young college student I feel that a lot of shops see me as an opportunity to make money. Not once did I ever feel like I was being taken advantage of, especially not knowing much about cars. Not to mention they were very flexible and got me in very quickly, and the tissue figured out right away. Once again I can’t thank them enough and will definitely be coming back in the future for any other issues that may arise or even for an oil change!

After reading the reviews on here I decided to give these guys a try. Im new to the area and some of the quotes Id received from others shops were outrageous. I called them Monday morning and was told they could look at it Wednesday afternoon. Got my car towed to them Monday afternoon. Tuesday afternoon got a call. Car was ready and was way cheaper then what I planned on. A day early and saved me money. Next time I need a shop I know where Im going! Thanks again!

Travis was recommended to me by a friend and I was 100% satisfied with the professionalism, communication with the repair with the specifications to putting on coilovers and to make sure the camber and alignment settings were right to what I wanted. They took extra caution since they are car enthusiasts and its a sports car I brought in and low. They took off the front bumper to be placed on the ramp/lift to do alignment work to not damage the bodywork with their fantastic and friendly technicians that were kind and helpful to check diagnostics and box my original parts neatly and give me a hand to load them in a car. I would highly recommend them for other customers in the area or for people out of town.

Ive taken my vehicles to Travis since before he opened his shop. Hes always straight with me, looks for ways to keep me safely running on the road and cost conscious without cutting corners.Now i drive 40 minutes to Rochester because I know and trust Travis and his team.My husband isnt fast to trust and he trusts Complete Auto Repair.

I had taken my car into the dealer for some recalls, and the dealership told me something very expensive needed fixing. I took my car in to Complete Auto Repair for a second opinion and they were honest, telling me it was not at all a needed repair. Plus, super friendly. They have won a customer for life!

I usually go to a small-town mechanic that I’ve literally gone to since I started driving, but I needed to get my car seen much faster than my regular mechanic would have been able to get it in. So my S/O recommended complete auto repair because they’re his regular automotive service provider and he’s always liked them. I called them at 9:30 am and was able to book an appointment for 4:45 later that same day! The best part was that my appointment was only a diagnostic appointment—so I didn’t expect to get my car actually fixed that day—BUT they were able to diagnose the issue AND fix it before 6 pm. They were all super kind and made sure that they had all the information about my problem before they scared me with a random guess. The second best part was that it cost me an actual fraction of what I thought it was going to be. I will definitely be coming back!!

Awesome! I was experiencing two issues with my vehicle: road noise and low mileage. I called Complete Auto Repair and they nearly diagnosed both problems over the phone. After checking out my vehicle in the shop, they presented me with a list of options and didnt pressure me. The road noise was because of a bad wheel hubs. Unlike Joes Auto Repair, they recommended trying to replace just one of the front wheel hubs, instead of both. Turns out that was all that was needed! Saved me $350. The staff are very friendly and they do very quick work. Never going anywhere else for repairs in Rochester! Definitely recommending them to my friends. Trustworthy and competent.On a side note, I highly suspect the ratings (bad and good) have been stuffed for some of the other auto repair places. Look over the reviews for signs that they are genuine or fake.

My brakes were absolutely horrible. The other auto shops were over priced and asking for too much. I called Complete Auto Repair and they were able to get my car in the next day. Based on previous positive reviews, I chose to take my car into Complete Auto Repair to diagnose the reason for my check engine light being on. I was not disappointed! I stopped by 15 minutes before they closed, and they very courteously and quickly ran a free diagnostic test and found that nothing was actually wrong with my car. The light was triggered by my fuel cap bring loose. Ive found my new auto repair shop.

I am from out of town and I was needing to pick up my mothers car that had been sitting for 2 years. I called ahead of time to set up an appointment, and ended up not getting in to town on time and also needing an unexpected tow. I called to let them know I was behind schedule and they were very understanding and friendly about it.Once I got it to the shop they asked me when I needed to have it done by to leave to go back home. I told them the next day, and they said they would get it done. Next morning they called and told me everything that needed to be done, along with pricing for each thing. They were initialing doing a trip inspection to make sure I could get back home with it. So after they told me everything that should be fixed they went back over the list and told me what absolutely needed to be done for us to make it home. They got to work on it right away, and had it done an hour and a half later.I feel as though everything was priced reasonably, and I can trust the work that was done to the vehicle.Made it home, and I am very happy with the service I received. :)

Best auto repair place in town. They are truly honest and twice have turned me away because what someone else in town said I needed to repair, they said was fine even though they didnt get any money from it. They also have competitive prices that are the same as or cheaper than other places in town.

Travis and Bruce run a solid business. It is rare today to find a repair shop where both the guy on the phone and the mechanic are willing talk to you, and they actually know what they are talking about. All options for repairs are discussed fully. There is no upselling. I have been taking my older vehicles here for over 4 years and I could not be more satisfied with the work and value.

I was told by an oil change place I needed a brake job, and I took it here, fully expecting (and prepared) to spend $400. Instead, they inspected it, and told me it didnt need brakes. I appreciate the honesty! These guys will get more of my business!

Talked to these guys by phone about a problem, gave me an honest answer. In a situation where they could have easily suggested I go ahead and have them replace my battery (slow to start on cold mornings), they noted that the aftermarket battery is not a significant increase in starting amps and would not make a significant difference. Prior experience with another vehicle was also very satisfactory. Appreciate these guys.
