Did an inspection fast and efficiently in under an hr while other people said I would need to wait 2 weeks and leave my car all day or at least a few hrs. Took me right away n no bs.
Just called and got off the phone with trying to get an appointment set up and was wondering which side of Summer street, 125 or Stirling I was coming in from,. I zoomed in on the map but there was no road connecting to building .... and was referred else where to VIP what kind of business is this? . 50$ for inspection. car already passed in January only has put on 100miles since inspection..... and with out review. was refused service. WOW!
This is a no fuss place. You go in, the owner is thorough and professional. I recommend it.
Extremely professional and polite.Extremely clean waiting area and shop.My car failed on several safety issues; each of them was correct and fair. After I fixed the issues, the car passed.Inspection/ re-inspection prices are good.I will definitely return in the future and would recommend to others.
Good service and fair inspection
Been there twice, the first time I didnt have to wait long & the second time the nice man that works there was waiting for my business, great service!
Fast service very nice.
Great place. Good people
DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. Charged 50$ for inspection and my car failed. they said it needed front ball joints. I brought it to a dealership to get fixed and they said nothing was wrong with my car and it passed inspection. they failed my car on purpose to get me to come back and spend $20 for a re inspection.
Go there every year for my state inspection. Always speedy and excellent service. No appointment needed.
Went to the Sticker Station @ Rochester once again - 3rd year - with a van I just bought. Prompt service, the van failed because of VERY thin front brake pads which I hadnt noticed when I bought it. The gentleman took the time to show me a issue with leaking transmission fluid lines that wouldnt affect inspection but I should know about. I replaced the pads (and had the transmission line taken care of) and brought it back and got my sticker. VERY HAPPY with the professionals at Sticker Station of Rochester.
They were great highly recommend
Love this place
My husband took his vehicle down in March right smack in the middle of the pandemic and this man automatically racial profiled my husband. This man straight lied and said that my husbands vehicle is rusted all underneath and that his bumper is about to fall off And that theres a leak in the steering column And his headlights are to foggy And that it is an undrivable vehicle I am talking about a 2008 GMC Arcadia here That my husband is financing we have taken his vehicle to numerous garages and they have told us there is nothing wrong with his vehicle but a few minor sensors that need to be fixed My husband has not been able to get his vehicle inspected anywhere in this state of New Hampshire because that man wants to straight lie it is Against the law 1st off and 2nd I will be pursuing further action I do not recommend this place to anyone as long as that man works there
I came here TWO DAYS IN A ROW at 4:15 pm after work. His message says hes open until 5 pm and no appointment is needed. Yesterday he turned me away because of the storm (somewhat understandable but he works in a garage and can close the bay doors) and today at the same time he turned me away because he has stuff to do around the shop. I said, wait... youre going to turn me away two days in a row? I just drove here from Portsmouth! My car is two years old, it will fly through inspection and he said yup, Im sure you can understand. Well guess what? I DONT understand. Make your message say 4PM then and people wont come to you so you can take an hour to close up your shop. This guy has ZERO customer service. It seems there is new ownership because the reviews less than a year old are poor. Will never support this business or recommend anyone else to. Learn how to treat your customers with respect or don’t run a business.
Great experience. Service was very fast and easy. The guy running it is very nice and helpful. Also when i called the morning of he answered the phone right away and was very helpful. I will go back again
Very accommodating!
Had an amazing experience here! Mike was extremely friendly and professional. He was fast and detailed while inspecting my car. Would definitely recommend going here!
This place was awsome! In and out. I got everything done in one stop. I definitely recommend sticker station to anyone who need a state inspection and or oil change!
Honest place to get an inspection. Been going there for years.
Ive been taking my vehicles here for 3 years and I cant say enough about Caleb. He is respectful, polite, honest, and he knows his stuff! He is the first mechanic that I trust completely. He goes above and beyond what is required and expected. I recommend him wholeheartedly. Ill never take my cars to anyone else. Keep up the great work, Caleb! Youre one in a million!
If you inspect your car here, and it fails, they charge you $15 to bring it back once the work has been finished on your car. Their reasoning is because a lot of people dont really get the issue fixed or fixed properly, and it becomes a waste of their time. They need to charge THOSE people rather than everyone. All that does is drive away your customers. If someone bring back the car and it is 100% fixed, then they should not be charged. Very sleazy practice that places are starting to do.I was also told I had to remove my vinyl decals I had on my back windshield before he inspected it. The guy said I couldnt have anything on the back windshield. As it turns out, he was wrong. You can have decals on your back windshield as long as they are along the perimeter of the windshield and you have both side mirrors intact. I had both side mirrors, and my decals were along the perimeter. So I had to scrape off all of my decals for no reason. My car failed because a license plate light was out, and they didnt know how to fix it. I fixed it myself in under 5 minutes and had to pay $15 again. That is unacceptable, and really shows how little they know about cars. The employees, however, are extremely nice. There is no complaint from me there, but I just cannot look past the other things I mentioned in this review, as they are just unacceptable. They dont seem to know much at all about cars, which makes me wonder if they really understand how to even inspect cars. I will be getting my car inspected elsewhere from now on.
Had two inspections here, both were done fairly quickly, and both inspectors were courteous and professional. Price is expensive compared to other inspection stickers in the area ($50 per car/$20 for retest), but still fair. Ive knocked off two stars, one because I came by a few different days during their open hours (around 330-4) and they were closed. No closed sign, no message on the voicemail, just no one there. The second inspector mentioned they were having issues hiring, so this is probably related to that.My other complaint is that the first inspectors verbal walkthrough of the issues was inconsistent with the inspection report, which made for an expensive second set of repairs. In reviewing other complaints about this place, this seems to be an exception to their normal service.
Oil change posted charge 63.50 then told needed extra quart of oil 14.00 total was 78.00 receipt printed was blank ! Never go there again !
I have used the Sticker Station for 4 years now and i used to like the place.Caleb was doing a great job and always giving outstanding service. Caleb moved on to better things and i actually had the owner himself do a motorcycle inspection for me last summer, my bike is stock from the factory but he was insistent that it was too loud, he was a jerk about it too. Telling me my bike would not pass anywhere else and blah blah blah. I decided to give them a shot again recently since they are conveniently located. The “new guy” working there has small man syndrome and is power tripping.I parked in front of the office, i was there at 8 am sharp that day, and he stepped out, yelled : “you can’t park there”!!So i parked as far as i could from the doors. I was the only customer there anyway, i walked in with my registration in hand, said good morning, got no response, he had me sign in and did his thing afterward. I paid got no “ thank you” or “come again” or any kind of recognition whatsoever.Don’t do there! Not Friendly and i miss Caleb!
Professional inspection service for my Highlander. Quick and easy. Justin was friendly as well. Thank you! Ill be back again next year.
Just had my first experience here and it was stellar. Caleb is a genuine professional who takes pride in doing his job well. Hes honest and precise which is exactly what you want in a vehicle inspection station.Hes earned 100% of my future business.
Quick service. No problems.
Great, fast, & friendly service. Reasonable prices, and no appointment necessary. Will be returning for next years inspection.
Great customer service. Very nice person working there.
Caleb sold the place to a couple winners that told me my truck wouldnt pass inspection due to my oil change being overdue!!!!!!! For their information and yours this is not a state inspection requirement. My wife brought it down there at first and this was a way for them to CON her into an oil change. Which the oil change was done a week prior to the visit. Do not!!! Do not bring your vehicle here!!! Ive worked on cars for a very long time and I hold a valid inspectors certification. Remember Caleb sold the place to a couple con artists that WILL take advantage of you the first chance they get!!!!
Took my Car here for state inspection because I try to support local business but inspection ending up costing me $70 I will NEVER go there a Again I should have went back to the Dealer it would have cost me $40this place is Very small and extremely over priced
The guys that work here are always so helpful and respectful and know what they are doing. They are very hard working and efficient.
WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE? Caleb ran a tight ship and understood SUPERB customer service. We had every inspection and oil change done with them. Company vehicles, personal vehicles, staff vehicles. New staff says our van will not fit on the lift, even though we have a sticker showing that our last oil change was done with them. Too bad. Caleb was the end of an era.
Theres usually a wait early Saturdays but they get it done fast. No dropping off. First come first serve.will go back again..
The gentlemen was very curtious and wait. Tim was short.will be back next year to get my stickers
Quick. In and out, no problems.
The last two years we have had trouble at this place in Rochester and only returned this year secondary to convenience. Online it said the cost was $45 when my husband got there he found out it was 50. My husband said something and the guy said its only five bucks.. The patron before him failed his inspection they charged him $50 and told him if he came back within 14 days it would cost $20 to get his sticker and after that it was another $50. My husband again made a comment about what happened to the return with a pass being free? The worker said what do you want me to do work for free. The worker then tossed my husbands keys back to him and said you can just leave I dont want to deal with your s*** today. Im sure my husband was a little bit of a smart ass but that is unacceptable. I would not recommend going here. There are much better places to go.
I took my saab there twice to get a sticker. The first time I was turned away because I had a rust hole I the trunk area. Thats fair I had no problem with repairing that. After I made the repair I brought it back and the gentleman got in the vehicle and tried to start it in gear. (you should never do that). He told me it would fail because of a bad neutral safety switch. I told him saabs do not have a neutral safety switch in the manual transmission. The only safety mechanism they use is a reverse lock where the transmission has to be in reverse to operate the key. He proceeded to inform me that I was wrong and all cars have a neutral safety switch. I understand that not everybody is an expert with saabs so I dont hold it against him. But some due diligence should be done when a customer is trying to explain that the car does in fact not have a neutral safety switch, and a neutral safety switch in a manual transmission is not required. If the gentleman who turned me away reads this please take this criticism as a way to inform yourself better before turning away customers for no reason. I will not be back to give then my business and will take my car to someone who is more competent.
Theyll find any excuse to fail you so that you come back and pay twice
I brought my 14’ Subaru for an inspection couple days ago and Im impressed with the whole experience. This place only do inspection, oil change, rotation so they dont do any repair. The tech (Mike) was very nice and knowledgeable. I decided to bring my mom 07’ versa for an inspection and it failed. Mike showed me why it failed. It needs lower ball joint on the front passenger side and 2 front new tires cause of the bad ball joint. I replace the ball joint and tires and came back for $20 fee and pass the inspection. This is EXACTLY the place im looking for an inspection. I want the vehicle to be safe on the road which is the whole purpose of an inspection. Tell me whats wrong with the vehicle and give me a chance to fix it ....dont just say I have a cracked pipe and you’ll weld it for $150 so it can pass.( got that one last year)I saw some bad reviews here but im sure its the previous tech cause mike said he’s been there only a few months. Highly recommend the place for an honest and thorough inspection. Definitely will come back nxt year.
Been here once and had a great experience will return next year
Great customer service, no appointment needed, very short wait, extremely clean and comfortable waiting area.
A bunch of clowns run this shop, if ypu go here youre wasting your money and time. Went there a week ago to get an inspection. 45 dollars later they say i have 14 days to get the tint off and fill two small cracks in the windshield. I get all the done and go back for the sticker, suddenly theres another problem. Dont go to this scam shop
Good guy fair price quick service
Great price quick service
A little pricey compared to others, however, they are fair, fast, and honest... They wont call you on bs, will make sure that you are safe...
In response to Lucien Arsenaults review. I would like to clarify that Mr. Arsenaults vehicle did not pass the NH safety inspection for multiple reasons which he did not mention. Including front brakes below specs, a cracked tail lamp, center stop light inop, emergency brake inop, and water in a rear tail lamp.We can supply him with another failed report If he wishes. The oil service was RECOMMENDED because the inspection tech noticed that the oil service sticker was overdue by 8k miles. Now Mr. Arsenault should know better if he holds a valid inspection license that any of these items are cause for a failed inspection . Lets be honest . As for Caleb, he was employed by The Sticker Station and not the owner.Regards, James G. CEOSticker Station ME.&NH
