This is the most convenient big box hardware store for us but it’s really stressful to shop there. The employees always seem to be so busy no one can assist with getting down supplies from the top shelves or assist in finding specific items. Our last trip we waiting an hour for someone to help us, we needed 2x4’s and they were out on the standard shelves. We’ve now taken to going to Lowe’s in Webster which seems to be much better staffed and thus not as stressful. Online order for pickup is the only way I will shop this location.

Never EVER have what I need whether its work related or personal/home related. Their inventory associates need to do a much better job because Im sick & tired of this Home Depot location saying they have 37 of the items I need in stock for me to drive there & they dont have it.....inconvenient for the customers.

Started the process of getting new flooring installed in my home in July. Its now October and still no new flooring. Materials were delivered damaged and the contractor couldnt complete the job. Little too no communication from the home store that we placed our order through (Irondequoit NY) only when we would initiate it. No one seemed to know anything about anything when we called and asked about the delayed order. I now have to take the junk material back and get a refund. Ill NEVER use this company again for any type of contract work

This is always a busy store but the help that works at this store, have always gone the extra mile.I also like to go to the store selfishly because they have some very very pretty ethnic girls at this store.Fantastic place

Alec (or Alex, AJ) at the paint station is very helpful! I am sorry for changing my mind from one color to another, and bothering him to make another one for me. He is a such nice person and hardworking employee! I appreciate him!

Nice store, but staff that day were not very knowledgeable or motivated to help locate the items I wanted. I was looking for a roll of chicken wire, but was told (by two different employees) that the store didn’t have any. After half an hour of searching, I found various rolls of chicken wire in the gardening area.

I had such a great experience with Mary at the customer service desk. She helped me with situation and gave me time to explain the reason for my return. So helpful that I ended up exchanging a chainsaw for a different model and left feeling comfortable staying with Home Depot for my selection. For people like me, the return process is more important than the buying process. Thanks Mary!!!

A MUST for any DIYer. Great for all odds and ends whether fixing up something outside or inside. Staff is kind.l but sparse. Download the app and it will tell you the aisle and bag of everything you want. Makes shopping easier. Self checkout is great. Expect lots of carts strewn throughout the parking lot not in the cart return (it’s a rite of passage) and expect lots of terribly parked cars. Join them by parking sideways. The paint people here are especially nice!

Pretty okay place. Nothing more than a typical Home Depot. Beware that the items that show available online to pick up at this store are not necessarily available. Calling before you get here, if you have a specific item in mind, is best.

Gone are the days one could ask a question and get any knowledgeable answer. Okay for purchasing those things you can do yourself like paint, nails, or gardening items. Good luck if you need plumbing, electrical, or any other skilled trade inquiry.

Employees are useless was trying to find the right adhesive for paneling in the bathroom ask 3 different employees none of them seemed even interested in helping. They just capt saying they are from different Department and walking away.

Place an online order. Some items were to be delivered to my house and those turned out fine they came in a timely manner as predicted. Part of my order was pickup. And part of that pickup was from garden and the other part was coming from the store itself. When I arrive for pickup I had a difficult time finding where the location curbside was located in the parking lot. Once I finally located those at the Far Side of the parking lot I finally called them told them as the instructions told me to do, that I was there and I was waiting for my order. Finally a short time later some nice lady came out and brought me my order from the store. Told me that somebody will be out with my ten bags of mulch that were coming from their lawn and garden. I waited and I waited and I waited an hour. I was Furious and hot by then. Tried calling the store and had a very long wait to get a hold of someone I told her my problem that I was waiting for a lawn and garden and she told me lawn and garden doesnt deliver mulch to curbside I have to go in to lawn and garden to get my mulch. I know this was not true because I saw many people come out and have the mulch delivered to their car. I told her that was not true and that I was told I can pick it up there and they would bring it to the car she put me very rudely on to another line and I sat there and waited and waited again for somebody to answer. No one ever came to the phone. So after sitting there as I said an hour the nice lady that brought me my orders from the store came right by me again to bring somebody elses order out. She was absolutely shocked to see that I was still sitting there and I was so angry at that point. I am handicapped I have a very difficult time with my right leg walking I need a knee replacement so after explaining this to this nice lady again she stopped one of the workers from lawn and garden that happen to be coming by and this very very nice young man says Im so sorry and he says give me 5 minutes and Ill be out with your mulch. Thank God for these two people they were my saviors that day. As he said he was back within a very short time with my 10 bags of mulch and loaded them into my car and trunk. They should have all their workers be as nice as these people and as considerate. I did try to call the desk again to let them know what happened and believe it or not whoever answered the phone this time at the front desk hung up on me when I told her what was happening. And my opinion they need to fire that whole front end that answer the phone. I dont know what kind of services is that theyre given the order and then and then never come out with their order. This was at the East Ridge Road store. I am having second thoughts as to whether I will ever go to Home Depot again I may just do all my shopping at Lowes from this point on honestly. Very very rude and very undependable as far as bringing your order out to your car they will let you sit out there and die as far as theyre concerned. very unhappy with this experience to say the least.

Just like most places these days the help isnt always the best. But one way or another I always seem to get what I came for.

Absolutely poor. Nobody picks up the phone and nobody will fulfill online orders. I went in after waiting for my order to be completed for two days and the employee in pickup handed me the order sheet and had me go hunt down the items myself. I ordered four items and every single one of them was out of stock despite the website saying they had inventory.The store is understaffed and overwhelmed. The lines at customer service are swamped and the shelves are either empty or disorganized. Home Depot pretends that they are adversely affected by COVID-19 and has all kinds of propaganda playing over their hold music and in-store about reduced hours and blah blah blah, meanwhile their stock prices are at an all time high. What a sham.Total waste of daylight and gasoline, avoid at all costs.

Went for a window unit air conditioner, had a big selection, prices was not marked clearly had to grab one of the staff, was very helpful but had a problem with the price checking device, told me its a regular issue, she worked it out didnt let it upset her and remained professional!! Good people there!

Average Home Depot store. This location seems to be losing more of its old-timers and picking up a bunch of young-bloods who just dont run the store the same way. Ive almost always been happy with the service here though...only a couple minor things over 10+ years of shopping there... so not bad! Unfortunately, this location does not offer tool or machinery rentals.

Great help, but couldnt find the items I was looking for. Flag holder and replacement stakes.

Needed help trying to find a certain kind of light bulb. They didnt have they exact one. We did find one very close and it worked out just find.

Pretty much what you would expect. I prefer it to the competitor chain because HD seems to have a greater variety of goods and better organization. Using the app to locate items in the store actually works. Associates can be hit or miss. You can get one with any combination of knowlede, friendlies, and helpfulness. I used to order online for pickup but stopped due to long wait times at the desk at times. If you know the store, its faster to do it yourself.

I would like to thank Jazmyn and Kristy for all of their help on May 20th!!!It was a busy day at the store as always and I happened to get Jazmyns help as to why I hadnt received my purchase, as I had already waited a week after placing the order.She explained that my order had been received by the recieving department and that it would be no problem for her to look in the back and bring it up to the front.Well, she couldnt find it and asked for the help of Kristy.Off Kristy went in pursuit of my order and eventually it was found.The thing which makes this post so significant is, Jazmyn could have left it as is, in telling me that the order was back in receiving and that I would have to wait until it showed in the system that it was ready for pickup, but she went over and beyond...as well as Kristy.Thank again to the both of them!

Home Depot was great. Not too crowded. (went around dinner time) There was a super knowledgeable man at the kitchen redo counter. I picked his brain for about ten minutes, got some samples, then left. I always am happy to go there. Quality employees who know what theyre talking about. Thank you, Home Depot, for hiring great people!

Great store. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Key cutting prices are a bit higher than elsewhere, so If youre on a budget looking somewhere else may save you a few dollars.

My wife and I just bought a house and Ive been getting more and more home improvement ideas, so Ive been stopping here to get things as I need them. Something tells me Ill be here s lot more often than I ever was before.

I had curbside pickup and no attendent was there, had to go in the stay and the wait was ridiculous.

Tried to get some paint, but received no help...even from the employee who was standing behind the counter talking on her cell phone (and completely ignoring me)! Wemt to a real paint instead!

This particular Home Depot location happens to be one helluva shopping experience. The store is extremely well staffed and management has paid special attention to placing knowledgeable individuals in each department respectively. This Home Depot is five stars all day. I highly recommend this particular store.

Delivering to HD stores regularly, this one was a test of patience. Warehouse staff were inattentive and unprofessional. Took hours to unload a simple distribution shipment. Forklift driver nearly backed into the truck multiple times. Timed him at 11 minutes to unload one pallet. Need some better training.

I have always liked Home Depot but this time was not their best, went for potting mix. it was outside but just as i enter the store, the rain came down, ask the man where it was, he act like he didnt know what i was talking about. i said this, to say i had to go get myself, he was nice enough to tell me that he would put it in my car. Was not happy today with me being an elder person. I will go back.

Super busy.One of the front end managers was insanely bad at directing traffic on three busy days I was there.Things would have worked out better had she not been there and she was not overly polite.

I ordered 12 blinds for curbside pick up at 11am it is now almost 9pm and still no blinds no email nothing!!!! I called 3 times only to be given the run around and told lies! Ridiculous!

Although the Pro section was closed....Dennis (a super friendly) customer service rep was very knowledgeable in helping me setup to get a service done in my home. Go Dennis!

I shop here all the time only because it’s close. Some staff is great but most ignore you. The store is consistently well stocked But incredibly under managed. Now they are only providing self serve check outs except for the professional check out at the east side contractor entrance/exit which has become a huge inconvenience. The curbside service notifies you the order is ready when it is not. They refused to load my order in my vehicle in my experience. When calling it can take up to 10 minutes before they answer and you may get a “hello” and not thanks for calling Home Depot so you may second guess what number you dialed. But they have everything and a few workers that actually care and are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They are just poorly managed.

First time ordering online with pick up in store. Received a notification when order was ready. Quick in & out since it was prepaid. Customer service experience was great! Will definitely shop like this more often.

Door counting employee tried to grab me as I was exiting. So much for maintaining 6 feet of distance. I am not walking an extra 200 feet, though a crowd to exit your building. Teach your door counter guy how to subtract 1.

My Fiancé and I went to this location in hopes to buy several Dewalt power tools. We asked an associate for the cabinet to be unlocked. He paged overhead for customer assistance. 10 minutes later no one showed up so we asked a second person who said that she would make a call and find out. 5 minutes after that we ask a third person. After waiting a total of 20 minutes I walked to the customer service counter and asked for assistance. They paged overhead a second time. Five minutes later, the woman from the customer service desk happened to walk by and asked if we were still waiting. We said yes and she paged overhead a third time. After waiting a total of 35 minutes for assistance, we walked out. We are very disappointed in the customer service we received.

I was looking for a Sanding block and found a really nice one there for small area application. They even had refills of sandpaper that fit the sanding block. I bought an extra pack of sandpaper just in case they stop selling it. I also bought a doorbell chime. They all cost around 50 for a good one. Plenty of selection to choose from. I need wired application for my video doorbell. the disposable battery operated ones that work for six months or longer if your lucky, wont do the job..

I put in a pick up order in the morning for just an extension cord. I then put an order in at Target for pick up as well. I had a message from Target within an hour to pick up my item. At 6:30pm still nothing from Home Depot so I just went to the store and picked it up myself. The item was literally near the register for pick up orders and no one could pick up 1 darn extension cord. Home Depot has lousy service for pick up. I definitely will never use this again for Irondequoit, NY Home Depot. Very unsatisfied.

Never run short when you need something that other stores dont have like plumbing supplies.

Everyone was very helpful. Bought the Toro 30 Timemaster lawnmower. They got it down from the top shelf. Saved $100.00 then $50.00 more when I signed up for 6 months 0 interest. The mower is awesome, it really does save time. Thanks to all the help from Home Depot!
