I was calling for advice on a serious issue for a boat someone else sold. I am not a customer here, but I will be as soon as I can. Mark McMillan went out of his way, no regard to time, to help and direct me on a frozen outdrive issue. Just incredibly courteous, honest, and helpful. I was having a battery issue on my Yamaha and I called the Syracuse store and they wouldnt answer the phone, I left a message. They left me a message saying that nobody would be able to get on the phone with me to troubleshoot my issue. I called McMillan and the phone was answered in a friendly manner and gave me a suggestion to try. It doesnt take much to be friendly and offer help even if the boat industry is very busy. Good job McMillan.

I love when a business wont post their prices and they expect perspective customers to call them.Reply: No, actually there are no prices listed on your site, MSRP or other. If I am browsing possibly hundreds of boats for sale and have to call about the price of any boat, that boat gets passed over.

So you replied to my review saying you can’t get parts for my boat. All I wanted is my carburetors cleaned. Those are MIKUNI carbs they have ton of rebuilt kits for those. Actually there is ton of parts for my motors too. Yamaha gp1200 look it up.I’ve called and asked about servicing my 1998 Yamaha jet boat. I was told straight out they don’t work on 2strokes. They directed me to some other place and of course it was booked.

Mark, Dave, and the entire team at McMillan marine are/were phenomenal, in the experience I had with them.My wife and I were interested in a family boat. We know, admittedly, little about boating. Mark and his team were beyond patient with us answering questions that may have been simple, and made sure we understood everything about our new boat. They took extra time to answer our questions, walk us through details well beyond just buying the boat, and provided service way above & beyond the sale.The entire experience made what could have been a stressful and confusing exercise very comfortable. We are now enjoying our new boat and cannot thank the McMillan team enough.If you’re in the market and don’t go see Mark and his team, then I think you’re doing yourself an disservice. They were amazing to us and I’d recommend them to anyone. Look forward to maintaining a long relationship with them.

I had a great experience at this place. I purchased a Yamaha Waverunner and everything went smooth from start to finish. Dave was very friendly and helpful and Mark seemed like a nice guy as well. If you are looking for a Yamaha jet ski I would recommend these guys.

Had a full reseal done on my Alpha One outdrive (upper and lower half). The whole process was awesome...the entire service team was in great spirits and happy to chat, discuss and answer questions. Dropped off my outdrive on a Saturday (in June peak season) and was told they would work on it Tuesday or Wednesday. I got a call Wednesday around noon letting me know I was all set. Couldnt ask for a better experience. I would definitely come back!!

My wife and I recently purchased a Yamaha SX 190 from McMillan and have only good things to say about the transaction. First off, with no model of our choice available on the premises, Dave went searching and located one a couple hundred miles away in Albany. He then found someone to transport it at a reasonable rate to their facility. At transfer of ownership he took the 190 and us onto Irondequoit Bay for a demo. As the pilot of a boat who doesnt deny a limited experience, I paid close attention to Dave and later to the booklet and DVD. We are Kentucky residents who once lived in the Finger Lakes for many years but now maintain the home as a summer residence and so we thought we would register the boat in the Empire state. Although we continue to pay a healthy dose of school & property tax in the upstate New York, we were unable to collect the 6 points to prove our birth, identity, and residence. Dave did his best to find some way to get that missing 6th point, but it didnt work, and so we registered the boat in Kentucky. There was a waste of time fostered by the crazy New York regulation, but it was handled well by McMillan. Calls & texts were made, and all calls and texts were answered. Almost immediately. Looking for a boat? Visit McMillan... Oh, and by the way, Dave was kind enough to purchase one of my books, Unvisited Spaces.

I have had the worst experience ever with this place. First off I bring them my boat and they tell me they can get it running and start it. Come to find out they charge me $240 for absolutely nothing to look at it then hes telling me that I have until the week to come pick up my boat. This is the worst shop ever I urge people never to go here
