We had our kitchen cabinets refaced. The carpenter, Kevin did an AMAZING job! I cant say enough about his workmanship and professionalism. In addition, he was always on time, friendly and made sure we were happy with the work. I highly recommend Nu-Look! Tom, Betsy and Carol communicated with us through out the entire process of any changes or delays. Their overall customer service is to make sure youre 100% satisfied. We love our kitchen!

Awesome product! We love our kitchen. Refacing our cupboards gave our kitchen a brand new look. Joel was a pleasure to work with. He cleaned up at the end of each day and was on time each day and if he knew that hed be late because he had to go pick up something he let us know the day before. The process was only about 5 - 6 days because we were waiting on our replacement drawers. I will diffidently use this company again. I will be recommending it to others as well. I do have pictures but Im unable to post them.

We live in a older house in the Cobbs Hill area and decided to to have Nu-Look reface our cabinets. We were blown away with what they were able to accomplish. From our first meeting with Tom to the regular updates from Carolyn, they made the process simple and enjoyable. Joel took his time and his craftsmanship was outstanding. We could not have hoped for a better outcome.

Nu-Look Cabinet refaced our kitchen cabinets and drawers. They gave us a list of vendors we could use for our remodeling project and each one of them also did a great job for us, Their carpenter, Kevin, worked continuously to deliver a stellar finished product. He was easy to have in our home and very particular about every detail of his work. Kevin also cleaned up daily both inside and out. The short version:Nu-Looks professionalism, responsiveness, flexibility, and quality are unmatched when it comes to giving your kitchen a face lift.The longer version:My wife and I bought our first home two years ago. It was move in ready, in that everything was functional and serviceable and we could live in it immediately without having to do a massive amount of work.However, as I suspect is the case with most home purchases, our style didnt match anything even close to what the previous owners had designed. We started our seemingly endless journey of making this home OURS.For almost a year we avoided the kitchen because what a nightmare we thought. So it stayed a boring blend of beige floor on beige cabinets, on beige backsplash with beige walls. (see before pictures) When we finally got around to starting the kitchen, we decided to do it ourselves. To make a long story short, we figured out we were in WAY over our heads.I spoke with a number of contractors to come bail us out of our self made kitchen nightmare. None seemed particularly interested or inspired much confidence. From the moment I reached out to Nu-Look, everything became... easy. They were wonderful to work with, answered my dozen or so questions that I fired off to them day and night, and were extremely prompt with appointments. Of course any businesses goal should be to secure a contract and perform the work, but working with Tom and the folks at Nu-Look made me feel like they genuinely wanted to help us.For the consultation (which was free!) they came with a whole van full of sample doors and knobs for us to choose a style and color from. Tom asked us a few questions about what we like and he grabbed a few examples and hit the nail on the head perfectly on his first trip to his van for the samples. We chose a door that day and signed a contract with them.Finally the doors were ready and their carpenter came out to do the work. He was actually a little early, and he worked fast. Our entire kitchen was done in less than 6 hours. The results are gorgeous, and while we still have other work to complete, already looks like a brand new kitchen.The doors are perfectly aligned. The knobs are perfectly centered. There is not a scratch, chip or dent anywhere. You can tell he was painstakingly attentive with the whole installation, and yet managed to do it very smoothly and very quickly. He only verified a couple things with me but we otherwise barely knew he was there. He even covered our floors in cardboard so as not to dirty/scuff them. When he left, i swear it was cleaner than when he arrived.I only wish I could hire Nu-Look for every house project...Ill be sure to update this review with better after pictures once we are finished with our other mini kitchen projects, but for now please excuse the drywall and unpainted sections :-D

Everyone is incredibly prompt when getting back to you. Tom, the owner came out for the estimate and was incredibly helpful in giving suggestions that helped make the kitchen look even better. Kevin our carpenter was on time, did amazing work and was quick. Everyone who walks into our kitchen now has a big WOW look on their face and we love it! We were incredibly happy with everything Nu-Look provides and would definitely recommend them!

I had NU LOOK install new kitchen cabinet doors that replaced my original ones from 85. I had the white cabinets installed and WOW what a big difference this made!! My kitchen went from dark and tired to Bright and Brand new looking for only a fraction of the price of others. The installers were excellent and showed much respect for my property and very clean. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new look for their kitchen!

It was time for an update for my kitchen. All of my friends and I really love the new cherry cabinets! The unique tile backsplash compliments the new quartz counters. Kevin, the carpenter, was very professional and very skilled in his work.

We had new doors installed on our old stick built cupboards, new drawers and drawer fronts made and a new quartz countertop installed by Nu Look. It really transformed our kitchen without the time, expense, and hastle of a complete remodel. We are very happy with the quality, the workmanship and the price. Tom and Betsy were great to work with. Our carpenter, Kevin, was also great. There was a bit of an issue with the depth of our base cabinets accomodating a undermount sink, and Kevin solved the problem beautifully with what we affectionately call the bump out. It looks great and actually adds character. We couldnt be happier with our new kitchen.

Our kitchen has been complete for about a week now and we are thrilled with it. The new doors and drawers are exactly the quality we expected and they look amazing. The same is true for the trim work. It is what we had expected and looks really fantastic, like brand new cabinetry. We are very happy with the refacing of the boxes as well. Of course, time will tell if this method and product (the refacing part) is able to hold up over time, but our expectations are high. This is definitely a company to look into if you are considering a facelift for your kitchen.

Cabinets are beautiful but it took almost five months to get the job completed. A few were measured wrong and had to be remade and one iof the bigger doors were damaged in the shipping process.Tom was very professional and John did a remarkable job installing everything.

My new kitchen is amazing! What a huge difference. Working with Nu-Look was a great experience. They always showed up on time, kept in constant communication and performed quality work. Having the cabinets refaced instead of replaced was a terrific option and it feels like a brand new kitchen for a lot less money than all new cabinets. I would highly recommend Nu-Look.

We are so happy with our new cabinet doors from Nu-Look. The job was done quickly and the people we worked with were so nice. The kitchen looks stunning and the quality is great. The price was far less than working with Lowes/Home Depot (which we have for other jobs). I would recommend.

My wife and I just finished a kitchen update and made the unfortunate mistake of working with Nu-Look for the cabinetry portion of our project. Of all the contractors we worked with on this project (plumbers, electricians, countertop installers, tiling professionals, etc.) Nu-look was the only one that we had issues with.Along with numerous measuring issues, the real problems began when the installation of the new doors was completed. We had chosen to do a custom color on our bottom cabinets in a dark teal color. Tom told us we could choose ANY color from Sherwin Williams library and for an additional charge the cabinets could be done in this color, so we did. Once the cabinet doors were installed we noticed that the finish did not cover evenly. Every single door had spots that are lighter and spots that are darker. Nu-look never checked the doors for quality when they received them from their vendor and instead just installed them as is.We were obviously upset by this considering we paid extra for the custom color so we brought up the issue and Nu-look had representatives from their manufacturer, Conestoga Wood Specialties, come over and look at the doors. The representatives immediately noticed the poor quality and took one of the doors back to their facility to be examined. A week and a half later we were told by Betsy via email: The color has both dark and light pigment colortone. They feel that the doors did not get painted evenly so the edges appear to look lighter.So they admitted the doors did not get painted correctly and instead of doing the right thing and making us a new set of doors with solid coverage, their solution was to come back and take down all the doors they had just installed, send them back to the manufacturer, and have them re-work them (a minimum three week process). We asked for clarification as to what re-work meant and never received a clear answer. We were of course hesitant to do this since the manufacturer couldnt paint them correctly the first time and again asked if they could just send a new set of properly finished doors. After going back and forth for about a week via email and phone, Nu-look said Their conclusion is due to the color of the paint, the doors cannot be remade because the same thing would happen again.Nu-look and Conestoga do not stand behind their work. They say you can choose any color but they clearly cannot finish dark colored doors properly. When we asked if they had a backup plan if they could not fix them, they said they did not. At this point Nu-look offered to reimburse us a small amount of money if we kept them as is. It was clear to us that we didnt really have a choice as they were unwilling to do the right thing for their client. So now we are stuck with these cabinets that are splotchy and unevenly painted. If you choose to work with this company DO NOT GET A DARK COLORED CABINET! And definitely dont pay extra for a custom color. We cannot stress this point enough.Just when we thought things couldnt get any worse, after our new floor was installed our flooring contractor told us that Nu-Look did not order enough trim molding (in the custom color). Instead of trusting us and ordering the remaining amount, Nu-Look said they had to send their carpenter over to confirm there wasnt enough molding. After wasting our time with a needless appointment, their contractor confirmed that Tom had not ordered the right amount of trim and it would take three more weeks to get the remainder. While waiting for the trim to come in we were sent multiple invoices to pay for the final amount of the project even though it was not complete.Working with Nu-look may save you a few bucks, but the quality of their materials is so poor its not worth it. It will definitely cause you a lot more headaches and take much longer than expected. This is a small husband and wife business that has a lot to learn about quality and proper customer service.
