Brought my daughter in today to be fitted for her first set of skis and boots. In no time at all, they had us all squared away. Great customer service! Tyrol will remain our familys go-to for our winter gear.

I went to tyrol to get a pair of snowboard boots that I did not buy from them, molded to my feet. Greg helped me do this. I could not have asked for a better experience. This guy was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Cant wait until the new gear comes in. I will be back.

Bought a new locally made kayak, paddle, jacket etc etc for a trip. Very knowledgeable gentleman helped me with my purchases and enlightened me with river maps, legalities of kayaking in mn, and history on kayaks.What more can you ask for?

Staff were a little abrasive at first but once we started talking and answering questions, I realized how passionate and knowledgeable they are about outdoor sports. This is a very comprehensive outdoor shop with knowledge staff. They have equipment, clothing, undergarments, and lots of accessories. They also have quite a few opportunities for sales so ask them about those.

A great local small business to support. The clothes are high quality but pretty expensive so I wait until things go on sale. I do wish they could figure out a way to open the dressing rooms but that would likely require extra staff for cleaning and that likely isn’t cost effective for them. I had to exchange a couple items for a different size and other than having to make a second trip it was no trouble at all.

My favorite store to gear up the kiddos for winter, small business feeling is the best part.

Friendly, great service and knowledgeable about their products. They even matched an offer REI had and worked out great for us so that we didn’t have to drive up to the cities.

I went to get all the gear you need for skiing during their end of winter clearance sale. The two employees who helped me get what I needed were super helpful. I felt like they didnt pressure me to get the more expensive option or something I wouldnt need. I was referred by a Friend who also goes there, I will return.

Incredibly helpful to a group of four dudes all renting on the same day one hour before closing time. They fitted each one of us, explained everything we needed to know, sold us discount vouchers for the ski resort and helped us take stuff out to our vehicles. I dont think they could have been any nicer.Friendly staff and a clean store. Decent location with convenient parking. Fair pricing. Plenty of rental options. Extremely honest answers for all of our questions.Definitely going back!

Its an amazing mom and pop shop that really takes time to help you find what youre looking for. My family has been going there for years buying anything from skis to furniture and each time all of the staff has been wonderful to us. Everyone seems to like what they do, and the selection of goods is awesome.

My wife and I are very happy with this ski shop. We recently came here to purchase our downhill ski gear and the personnel here is knowledgeable, friendly and very patient. They will go through everything you need and will even make suggestions for you to save money. We definitely recommend it if youre looking for winter outdoor gear.

Not sure whats happening here? I spent 20 minutes in the store and not one person said a word to me including two sales people who looked me straight in the face. Hopefully you will have a better experience.

Beautiful little shop. The staff knows its stuff and is very friendly. The prices are expensive, lots of top quality brands but even with discounts still pricey. Recommend anyone visiting who likes to be outdoors.

Went there to look for skis and didnt feel like we got the best help and not all the questions I had were answered. They didnt have the size for my kids and they were not able to order them. I ended up going to The Cities and buying equipment for our entire family there. I wanted to support a local shop, but customer service is still needed.

For all your winter outerwear needs. Very wide selection. There is even a discount area with childrens to adult coats and boots here. We found a hard to find coat here. Could not even buy the exact color online that we had searched for a couple weeks. Very helpful staff.

+ Great store. Nice apparel selection.- Difficult to get assistance selecting roof rack accessories because the man was very impatient. We asked what accessories would attach to a 2006 Saab 9-3 Sedan and he said he didnt know and instructed us to talk to a car dealer.We finally went to REI and they helped us.

I went in looking for boots. I was the only customer in there and couldnt get any help. Two women behind the counter were having a conversation. I didnt want to interrupt what was surely a very important topic.

Tyrol made it so easy to buy a new jacket! I went there around 6:10 on a Friday after work with $800 cash in my pocket. I was planning on buying a new North Face Coat. When I got there, the owner/manager was at the door and he said We are closed and shut the door in my face. I thank him for this because I went to one of their competitors and not only did I get a new coat, they gave me 30% off after hearing my story. Now Im all about freedom to run your business how you want, but with Dicks Sporting Goods, Gander Mountain, and the new massive SHEELs store coming in a month, you think a local store would make it easier to shop there... Anyway, Again, it was the most pleasurable experience- Try to shop local, get turned away, and go to the big box for a better deal. So again, Thanks!

RUDE! Waited for half an hour trying to buy kayaks We were all kinds of ignored while staff talked among themselves. So mad. I bought 2 kayaks elsewhere that day. I wont even go back to Tyrol for accessories. As Im writing this my grandma is telling me that most of our family has had similar bad experiences. Count on me NEVER spending money here.
