Super friendly, and professional staff. Both Doctors that weve dealt with are amazing, and do their best to ensure that the patient is comfortable. Have gone to this location for years, and highly recommend it to all ages for your vision needs.

Short and sweet I hope! First experience for exam and choosing frames and lens options went excellent. Optometrist was thorough and explained all tests performed. Rep (who I wish I could remember her name) who assisted in choosing frames and lens options, superb, knowledgeable and helpful. The glasses had to be sent out to be made and I was hopeful they would be in by the time I left the next week for a two week vacation. They went above and beyond and the glasses did come in on time! Only problem, no detailed invoice.Second visit went okay, except the rep who fitted my glasses had no knowledge of how to do so as I had to tell him 3 times the one reading pair were crooked. The other pair didnt even sit on my ears. In addition, he gave me the SAME color cases so I could not tell which pair was in which case. Who does that?Third visit a complete breakdown in communication, a mess! The owner attempted to intimidate me simply because I told the fitter he didnt do a good job and gave me same color cases which I felt was silly. Owner loudly asked in a nasty voice if I wanted a different color case, I said yes! He threatened to refund my warranty, told me never to step back in the store and attempted to keep the glasses. Eventually, he yelled at me in an unprofessional, rude and crude manner to get out of his store, never step foot back in it, and even called security 🙄 exaggerating and lying to them about my behavior in order to have me physically removed by telling them I was harassing his reps. I was simply stating the obvious. Still an obvious miscommunication. I thought the entire staff had done an amazing job, except the fitter. It is the owner who is the nasty one.

If i could rate 10 stars i would - personally the best place i have ever been good doctors good sales people good service over the phone i will never go anywhere else and i love the glasses if you want a company that takes care of you with great people this is it thanks guys i really appreciate it.

I have been coming to this location for several years. This time I worked with Emily who helped me figure out that my current glasses were still under warranty for a few more days so we were able to order a new pair and also pick out a new pair of glasses for me. She was very patient as I tried on 20+ frames and helped me decide which glasses looked best for my face shape. I would highly recommend working with Emily! I will be going back to her when I need new sunglasses in the summer!

I was so completely satisfied, would recommend you choose this Sterling Optical location next time you need glasses, contacts. I was greeted immediately upon entering the store and assisted in choosing glasses by Toni. She was pleasant, patient, and professional. Great smile! I saw Dr Wilson for my eye exam. He was all of the above. I did not bring my previous eyeglasses with me. After the examination, Dr Wilson recommended me finding my last eye prescription before continuing with ordering the glasses I had chosen. He felt due to the fact I had the start of cataracts in both eyes (and other factors only an optometrist would know), my eyesight might not be helped much by the new prescription and he didn’t want me disappointed after the money I had spent. Who does that??!!! They usually just take your money and run! After bringing back my old glasses Dr Wilson was able to fill my eyeglass prescription and I am now seeing sooo much better! Thank you Sterling Optical, Dr Wilson, Toni and all employees who greeted my with a smile. I will definitely return!!

Nice selection. Every pair is nice or better.EYE think that the staff steered my friend in the wrong direction with their recommendation regarding the Benifits of tinted lenses vs anti glare lenses with regards to driving and Rochester. But they were friendly and courteous as they did. The store was in immaculate condition. My sons have glasses that were made here. EYE will say that Sterling’s work is nice and one is welcome to come in for repairs or quick fixes at any time.

I have been going to sterling optical for the last 17 years. I started at the victor location and when i moved to Greece i started going to this location. I honestly don’t know why i kept going back because most of my visits were poor experiences. My first bad experience was a few years back the optometrist who did my exam was EXTREMELY rude and condescending. When i got out of the exam and shared my experience with the girls at the counter they had said they get a lot of complaints about him and would kindly reschedule for a second visit. Still decided to go back fast forward to just a couple months ago i scheduled my routine eye exam for contacts and eye glasses.He seemed like a nice guy but was a little confused during the visit. I ordered contacts and glasses that day and my prescription was off. I called and they offered to reschedule my visit with a different doctor. Great, no problem at all... until i was 15 minutes from the appointment after i left WORK EARLY and they decide to call to let me know the girl who scheduled my appointment made a mistake and the optometrist wants to leave early and refused to see me. The manager is a very nice guy and called the next day to apologize and offered me a pair of sunglasses if i would come back in so they can make things right. I went back and never received a pair of sunglasses and B the issue was never resolved. About two months into have my glasses that i paid $400 for randomly broke. I called to have a replacement pair and was told they would call me as soon as they came in. Almost a week later i did t hear anything so decided to call to check when they would be in. Only to be told they were in already! I asked why i wasn’t called and she said “ i just haven’t gotten around to it yet” i went in tonight to pick up my new glasses and was asked where my old ones were. No one ever told me i needed to bring them!! I assumed when they said the word replacement i would be getting an entirely new pair of glasses!! The communication is awful. I never leave a negative review on a business page as i work in marketing and understand things happen. But not this many times!! I will neverrrrr step foot into this location and will tell everyone about my experience. Do yourself a favor and save the head ache and frustrations

Myself and entire family have used this specific Sterling Optical in Greece Mall for many years 15 years or more. The staff and services are fantastic every time. They have so many stylish frames to choose from. The staff goes out of their way to provide great glasses and contact lenses. Services and products are always consistently excellent. From eye exam to lenses, to recieving glasses I always feel like a prority. Just a pleasure. I would highly recommend.

I had to go over a year wearing the wrong prescription of contacts because each time i complained that my eyes felt funny they sent me back to the same old guy who said nothing was wrong. I finally got a break after my prescription expired and i was able to see a female and she corrected the first doctors mistake. Im not sure who the uptight chubby guy is with the black glasses and hair but the place was a lot friendlier before he came. Ive been going their for years. I decided to exchange a set of frames after i saw they got a new shipment and he made a smart remark insinuating glasses are glasses why should i care. The real question is why do YOU care, lazy.

I love it here. Whenever I go in I am taken care of right away. The doctor and the ladies are so nice! I 100% recommend this eye doctor.

I had my eye exam last Thursday and picked out frames (off brand with basic lenses) and was told they need to ship them out. I asked how long they would because my old set was stolen with my purse. I was told Tuesday they should be in. So I figured okay I can get through the weekend no big deal. Well today is Tuesday and my glasses are here on time. Will come here again to get my designer frames instead of ordering offline.
