Looked at my ring, told me his price and kind of laughed/had a smirk on his face, asked if i had tried selling it on my own, asked him for some advice and he wasn’t helpful whatsoever. his only suggestion was facebook marketplace and nothing else. very unprofessional in my opinion. but hey, it’s a pawn shop right?

Great experience selling my diamonds here! The whole process from start to finish was easy and painless even though the stones had to be couriered to them from Canada. Demitri is so friendly, professional and very fair. He provided with me with all the paperwork I needed for customs clearance and was available via his cell even on the weekend to help ensure the shipping process was as simple as it could be. He helped make everything so smooth and fast. I think it was about a day or so from the time I decided to send them in to receiving payment in my bank account. They are awesome! Couldnt find a sixth star above, or they would get one of those as well! Absolutely the best team to deal with that I have ever encountered.I had an ungodly amount of coins I had acquired from an estate and from a house fire. Thinking of all the work, photos and fees involved using eBay and PayPal as I have done in the past, I decided to take the coins to Ridge Coin instead.I just dumped them on the counter, and they did all the sorting. They separated the silver and the foreign coins from the rest, and found several higher value coins that I had no idea were in the collection (like a penny that was worth $139). They also gave me the current melt value for the silver coins...something no one else in the area did. And through it all, they were very friendly, yet highly professional.Next week, Im taking the jewelry that we have acquired from the same sources. A lot better and faster than listing and selling them myself on eBay. And I actually received more cash from them than I estimated I would have received from eBay.They were just as friendly and efficient with the other customers that came in during the 8 hours or so that I was there (over three days). A real class act...a lot of other dealers and stores could learn a lot from these guys.

By far the best place in Rochester to sell your gold. I recently came across a box with a bunch of old gold rings and bracelets. I was closer to a jewelry store that advertises to buy gold at the time so I stopped in and was treated poorly so I left. Do not go expecting to see coins in display cases like one of the google images. I am getting back into the coin collecting hobby and went in expecting to see displays, instead the place was like a bank, with tellers behind glass. After a bit of looking bewildered when I walked in, one of the tellers finally asked if I needed help. Upon explaining my expectation, I was advised to go to eBay. Not exactly what I wanted to hear or what I was expecting. Looks like a place to sell your gold or obtain silver bullion/coins that you already know you want. No browsing. I hope this helps someone from wasting their time.
