After our tire blew out on 77 & we received some AMAZING service from Mr. Rowe with SCDOT, he recommended Discount Tire to get a replacement (cant drive 4 hours on a spare😉) Tried SAMS 1st since we bought tire from there...none in stock. It is very slow. I have been waiting for over 2 hours and they still havent started on changing my tires. I spoke with a customer when I arrived and he told me he had been waiting over 2 hours to get a nail pulled out of a tire. I should have let Rock hill Toyota put them on when I had the oil changed. Discount tire is using only two bays to do a 4 tire install. They are more interested in selling tires than they are getting customers in and out. This was my first time and differently my last. Three hours to get tires changed and counting. I was told at11:30 I had 6 0customes in front of me so it has taken 3 p to wait on three people. They take you as they want to. Read the reviews before picking this place.

Went in for the life time balance paid for it dearing the service they found bent rim on the inside of rim. Having a hard time balancing tires have balancing bead in them worked with tires for over an hour .manager was not happy with balancing . Did the best they could with w considering the problem. These guys have been my go-to for a number of years. From fixing flats to just wanting an upgrade, theyre extremely professional and reasonably priced. Theyll openly discuss coupons or other deals that could help you out. Its worth calling ahead and scheduling an appointment during their busy hours.

They got me in quick and the price was good. Alex the guy who waited on me was friendly and kept me informed as to what was going on. They offer text alerts where you vehicle is done so you can go do other things and not stay and wait.

We were on our way home to Georgia from buying a boat in South Carolina. One of the trailer tires blew out. They were all very old tires. We found this store and a young man named Keith got us 2 new tires and quickly changed them so we could get back on the road for our 4 hour trip home. I’ve always used Discount Tire for all of my vehicles. I moved to Rock Hill 2 years ago and had to buy tires for one vehicle and get a repair done on my other vehicles. Their service is always friendly and they strive to get with you as fast as possible even though they are always busy. They work long hours yet their customer service doesn’t appear to suffer. I’ve dealt with Justin on several occasions and he’s always patient and helpful. I’ll always use Discount Tire as long as they keep the same service level they currently have and recommend them to everyone.

My family and I were headed to North Carolina from Georgia for a funeral today. We had a flat on I77 north and had AAA change the tire for us. Because the tire was a donut we were afraid to drive all the way in so we stopped at Discount Tire in Rock Hill, SC. When we arrived, I explained to the gentleman(cant remember his name but extremely nice!) of our situation and asked if they could help us quickly. He helped me pick out a reasonably priced tire, without trying to sell me what I didnt want, and got the process started. They had us in and out within 20 minutes! Extremely impressed with their service! People in Rock Hill are lucky to have a quality, top notch service provider in the Discount Tire professionals! Kudos!!

First things first. Make an appointment. Like any walk-in service, you will be waiting on a busy day. The service here is top notch and Mike runs the show like a pro. It was incredibly busy, with phones ringing off the hook, but Mike just stays calm and cool and gets the job done is a personable and friendly way. All staff I came in contact with was friendly and professional and practicing Covid procedures, which I appreciate. I have no complaints here and will definitely return.

Dont bother asking for help with any off-road tires they have no knowledge of those! Girl up front was very friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible but her manager obviously knows nothing about off-road tires...

My husband and I want to thank Anthony for his professionalism and empathy when we brought in a 6 month old run flat tire with a nail in it. He and his team were prompt in diagnosing the problem and happily they were able to patch the tire and not have to replace it. We were on our way in a very short time.Thank you, Anthony and team.

Overall the experience was good. They price matched the cost of my tires when I found a lower price elsewhere. Installation only took about 30 mins, once they started. They fixed the improper balancing / alignment the next day when I walked in. You SHOULD make an appointment to be seen in a timely manner, as they are very busy. Their phones rang nonstop while I was there. I took 1 star off for 2 reasons - 1. When I called (on a Monday) to order the tires, I specifically said I couldnt come in for installation until Friday or Saturday. They said ok, and they would call when the tires came in and set appt then. On Thursday I called because I hadnt heard from them. Apparently my tires had come in, and they had set an appt for Wed ... but never called me about tires or appt. 2. The balance / alignment was WAY off for one tire after installation, which caused me to have to come back the next day. They really need to hire more people though, even if just someone to answer phones.

I came in with a flat tire and groceries in my car from just leaving the store. They offered to put my necessary groceries in their refrigerator. They changed my flat free of charge. My spare was not usable so they loaned me a good tire and asked me to bring it back when I got my new tire from Toyota. I have a warranty with Toyota. These guys at Discount Tire were so kind and went the extra mile to help me in my time of need. All of my refrigerated items could have been ruined if it wasnt for these guys. Always polite and prompt, i came in with a 9:30 appointment to have new wheels and tires installed on my 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport, i was met at the door by Alex, he was very through on pricing and details on timing of arrival for the wheels and tires i ordered, then i came in today and had them in stalled and was in and out in LESS than the quoted time! The rock hill location did not have the exact tires I required. That was not their fault since they are so popular. But they were courteous and fast when I needed to be taken care of first thing so I could be in the ministry to uplift and encourage others by 9:30 am. Discount Tires took care of my 2 new front tires quickly and efficiently which was much appreciated. They also provided free bottled water while I waited and asked if there was any questions before I left. Came into the store at 2:30 and did not get done till after 5:00 ... Just for a tire rotation and balance. Very slow customer service unless you are buying tires. I asked why is it taking so long and I was told we schedule every 15 minutes thats why people are going before you. I have brought all my cars here but this really lost it for me.

I just want to give Drew from this store a huge Thank You! Me and my 17 yr old son were driving to rock hill when it sounded like his front end was about to fall off. We pulled in to discount tire right @ 6 closing time. Drew asked us what was wrong and upon inspection of my sons car he noticed we were missing 3/5 of his lug nuts. It was a vey dangerous situation and we couldve been killed. Drew was our hero, fixed his car and didnt even charge us a penny. He was just concerned for our safety. Not the best experience to start but finished well overall. Website is nice and easy to use. Lots of selection and good information such as reviews. I had two installation appointments canceled waiting for the tires to arrive so I would suggest calling before your appointment if you order online. The manager Anthony, Alex and Justin were all very professional and helpful. Anthony was quick to follow up on my complaint and handled it very well. I will return to get tires from here again.

Been buying my tires here for 6-7 years now because of the outstanding service Discount Tire locations provide and the good people they hire and Dave Lyle store is no exception. I had a very pleasant experience. I came in with low expectations. I had a slow leak in one of my tires. I usually go to Nation Tire and Battery. The store closed down. So I went to Discount Tire, the name was a bit off putting. I expected to pay money to get my tire repaired and perhaps even told I needed to replace my tire due to shady business practice that is common in vehicle shops. The walk through of why a tire needs to be replaced vs repaired was a great part of my experience and education. I did not expect to walk away from the place without spending at least $100. My car came back around and the service person came in and told me they pulled a nail out of my tire and fixed it. I asked him what I owed. He told me they dont charge for flats. I was flabbergasted. I had not even purchased the tire from Discount Tire. I will definitely return to this business for any further tire needs and you guys have an awesome business plan in place. Came to this location about a month ago and paid for a brand new set of tires to be put on my car. Waited patiently for almost 2hrs to have my tires put on and noticed that they were closing up to go home. Asked one of the guys if they planned on putting my tires on today. Said they didnt realize that I had not been taken of. Came back today to have my tires balanced and rotated with an appointment scheduled and noticed that I was forgotten about again after 3 other cars were seen before I was. Was told there was a glitch in the system. Come on Discount Tire. You guys need to get it together if Im going to continue doing business with you. Smdh!

Discount had the tire I needed but was able to patch the tire and save me money instead of buying a new one. The patch was free of charge. The tech and Rep were professional and informative. I am a first time customer. They have my business from now on.

I purchased a set of tires for my Ford Escort in October 2018. The installation went very smoothly and I was happy with the tires. Two months ago I traded my Escort for a Hyundai Tucson (love it!) and recently noted that the rear driver side tire was losing air. I brought the car in to Discount Tire to get the leaky tire looked at. I was guessing a repair would be 425-$50. Nope! It was FREE! Where do you find that kind of service in this day and age? I cant say enough in praise of this store, and the Rock Hill staff are all stellar! WTG folks! Im a forever customer.
