They always have a great selection of products. I always find more stuff then what I went in for. I lovd the garden center and all of the seasonal products as well. I could spend my whole paycheck here easily!

Jake in the lighting department was super friendly and helpful as well as another young gentleman in hardware who asked if I needed assistance. With the exception of holiday decor the store appeared to be well stocked and clean. The cashier was also very warm and friendly. I will definitely shop this location again.

My dad was lost and couldnt find what he was looking for. He gave me a call to help him translate in english what he needed to an associate at the store, this associate totally ignored him and he asked another 3 times and got ignored, obviously when he told me this I got furious so I decided to call myself I clicked 1-1 which I believe was building materials, Rene answered me. And I explained what had just happened and I asked if he could kindly meet my dad by the restrooms to take him to where the silicone was at by the paint department. Rene agreed. I called my dad back and told him an associate named Rene which was also Bilingual was going to meet him to help him, he was very happy. I called back menards dialed 1-1 Rene picked up once again and I thanked him for going above and beyond. Thank you so much Rene for being so caring and helpful!!! Rene ROCKS !!!!!!!

Staff is always helpful, professional, with enthusiasm. My husband said the person who helped him was on his way elsewhere; he stopped to help my husband. We love Menards

Love Menards they have more than home Depot and Lowes and Ace hardware put togetherThe only problem with Menards is if you need something sometimes as simple as a board that you could run into home Depot or Lowes for. A lot of times you have to get a picking ticket and then go through the guard shack to the back to go get your board which is a pain

They lost a star because they dont offer a military discount like the other home improvement stores and the employees are not as well trained. However their prices tend to be better and they have a better selection, in my opinion. I wish that they had houseplants but they have a good selection of annuals and perennials. I love the 11% rebates that they frequently have.

I like the 11% rebate everytime I buy something here. It really adds up over time. The lines are not too long and get thru checkout pretty quick.

After I checked out, I grabbed my receipt, went to my car 🚗, loaded up the trunk, returned the cart to the corral, got in car, turned it on, heard a knock on drivers window, turned to find an older gentleman. I unrolled my window and he said, you forgot this. He handed me the rebate receipt portion from my transaction. Then he said, I also got this for you. Then he handed me a rebate form. I was parked faaaaarrrr from the store. Was an incredible act of kindness from this fellow Menards customer!

Not too bad of a store, theyre usually well stocked and employees are nice, but the best time to go is early morning or late night, their parking lot setup is a nightmare with only one exit and entrance.

I like Menards as a store but curbside pickup is horrible! I had to call twice and waited over 10 minutes for my order. I could have went in and got what I needed quicker. They do not need curbside if they cant make it a quicker process.

Love this store! It had everything one can think of and more. The prices are usually lower than the competition and the continuous 11% rebate on EVERYTHING makes it even more attractive. The service is great just lines at the registers tend to be long and it does take a while to pay.

Most of the staff has a notion of what theyre doing. I always visit the store in Rockford il, on perryville rd. I dont have a problem with their prices and products, but today I try to get a propane cylinder exchange, and oh boy first the cashier Damien was rude on the way he tried to explain why I should go outside and do it in the gas exchange station. Then the lady who was supposed to service there told me that my cylinder has expired. I end up at the customer service desk canceling the whole order. What a nightmare! Never ever will try buying grill cylinder propane there. Damien should be in A different position no,customer skills.he customer service and cancel . What a nightmare.

I shop at Menards all the time sometimes 2 to 3 times a day having your own business you need a store like that very convenient everything is where i look for it and prices are decent

I love Menards overall, but their garden vegetable plants are really bad! The tomatoes arent even worth buying and I bought two 6 packs of peppers and 5 weeks later they are still only 4 inches tall! Just the worst veggie plants on the face of the Earth!! And this isnt the first year Ive had a bad experience with their plants, its about every year...at MULTIPLE Menards locations!

Ive been going to Menards in Cherry Valley for about 30 years. They always have what I need for construction projects and if not, we can order it and receive in a few weeks. Very competitive prices too.

Had bad experience with this store, be careful when having things delivered. Bought a garage door and it was damaged along the way, the store and shipper say its not their problem. These guys can not be trusted. Moving on to next level of management.

I walked around in this store for over an hour got everything that I needed go to get in line for the register and because I have no mask on. He said I cant wait on you and ring you up. And not one person had said anything to me . the whole time. I have a medical condition where i am using an portable oxygen machine. Him saying that he cant ring me up is Discriminating toward me having a medical condition. This only happens when I pay for things indoors at 1 of the lines never happens when I go to the garden centre area go out that register. I done spend well over a $1000 in on flowers and on other stuff for my significant others garden in the last month but because I go inside I am not allowed to pay for nothing today want to send me out the door. For no mask. I guess all my business should go to some other store like Lowes or Home depot. They a never questioned me about a mask, because of my medical condition.!!!!.

Employees are hard to find and when you find one you wonder who ties their shoes ? They dont really have a clue about products and only half know where most products are located in the store, with the exception of the lady in the lighting department she knows her stuff inside out

Large store, but no paint samples. Super long lines, but the staff are very helpful and courteous.

I and my friends do a lot of shopping here I went in for just one plant and came out with a basket full every thing 11% off in the store my friend found the paint he was looking for I bought 2 lavender trees they are new this year plus a couple hanging baskets and some other plants got it all at a very good price

This only reflects on the online ordering and not any stores. Would recommend only buying in stores and nothing online.

Menards.... Well its typical mediocre America. Service is always hit and miss. Merchandise is passable, nothing extraordinary. Prices reflect our train wreck of an economy.

Your GOD FORSAKEN Menards is the ONLY place in town that sells them. I REFUSE TO SHOP ONLINE. I NEED THINGS NOW. NOT LATER.Stop harassing people with actual disabilities you should all be ashamed of yourselves.

After trying twice to reach someone on the phone this afternoon, I traveled across town to talk to someone about non profit tax exempt paperwork that was denied with last purchase we made. They said all this business is now done online! Thanks for wasting my time and helping out our non profit.

The staff there always knows where whatever it is that I need. Which is great for me because it makes my shopping a lot easier.

Great I found what I was looking for. First item I did not know where to find it. So I found employee for menards the young man told me find what I need. Second item I was looking for . I found second employee a young lady who was happy to walk me to area office supplies unfortunately menards does not carry metal pens that is okay. Thank you for having friendly employees. I want to share a big kuddos out to Ashley the store assistant manager at Menards by cherry vale mall. After going to all the other competitors she was the only one who took the time to help me build my kitchen and believe me I wasnt easy to deal with because I had certain design in mind that wasnt typical for a smaller kitchen and she did it with a smile on her face mask and all. Again Thank you for your help!

Unhelpful service at the service desk. Managers will lie to you. Had an encounter with the manager yesterday manager tried to ask me who it was earlier in the evening that helped me and knew very well that it was her that helped me. If youre a do-it-yourselfer contractor or just somebody that is looking for projects and needs help ask one of your friends dont ask anybody at the store. Theyre just there for a paycheck. I have contacted corporate with my discrepancy and Im waiting for a reply. I will update my review if I ever receive said reply from Menards corporate. Keep in mind home Depot everything is indoors save yourself the problems in the rainy months and Lowes isnt bad either

I just recently applied for an application at home depot and I get 10% off being a veteran. My credit limit is almost 3 times I get at your store. Ive been a loyal customer for over 9 years. I think its time to delete my credit at menards

Always has great deals and you can find anything you may need for projects around the house. Whenever I needed assistance when shopping I have always found their associates to be extremely nice and helpful.

The electrical department shrinks every year. And i dont mean light fixtures and outlets but basic electrical essentials. A lot of farms outside of city limits run on 200 amps and even though they sell 200 amp panels you cannot get anything (piping, fittings, lugs, fuses to support anything before the panel. Other than that i still prefer menards due to the fact the store is very clean and well orginized.

It was busy with shoppers but enough registers were open and we got thru quickly

An associate on the floor was able assist me with locating all of the items I wanted. The receipt got stuck in the feeder. Perhaps it would be better if the cashier turn off and handed the receipt to customers. I have to mail in a rebate to get 11% off.

I love Menards. Its my girly girl store with the rest of the guys and gals out there that like to get down and dirty. So far, with this pandemic, I feel safe enough at Menards. All are wearing masks, the carts are wiped down, mind your manners and stay 6 feet away and I think you will be just fine. Great garden supply which is my favorite place to spend my money. Rebates too! Dont forget to turn your rebate in!

This is a very good Menards. Whatever the place it is only as good as the people running it. I used Nicole at the desk when I arrived to see if they had a certain non metal conduit. I thought this would be faster than wandering around the store trying to find it myself. She was excellent and called the electrical department to confirm. She also sent an associate ( Dan)to aisle 14 to meet me and help me sort out my project. Dan was better than excellent. We discussed what I had in mind, he made suggestions and confirmed thoughts I had about how exactly to go about the task. He picked out everything I needed and showed me how to apply each item to the task. I will be using this as my main Menards from now on. Very helpful, pleasant employees - happy. Check out was also good but I did not get the girls name. A 5* experience.
