Walked in to grab a few things. Inventory real real low. After saying hello, 3 times, the woman at the counter didnt even return greeting: which is uncommon. Then, proceeded to finally answer a question when I asked about a product.Aint none of that left anywhere... all out cause of covid ... right. So, I stated that Id go to target. Well the Walmart(s) didnt have it either and we was there today ...Store is filthy, floors unkempt, women unkempt and unfriendly.

Always love the sales, 50%,75%,90% off .my kind of deal. Staff knows me by name. Lol. Atmosphere is very vibrant. Store is well cleaned and stocked . Big parking lot. Easy access. Friendly employees to boot.

I purchased a pound of there jimmy dean sausage yesterday. I didnt realize until I got home that it expired September 6 2020 over a year ago. Wish I still had the receipt because there is no excuse to try to sell pork over a year old. Check dates if you shop at dollar general off south alpine and harrison.

Should change open time to 8:20 because they’re never actually open on time

This is the worst DG Ive ever been to. Items not stocked, no cashier, employees smoking while theres no one to ask for help. I asked for the employees name smoking, their name was Scott and Kim. Worst service ever

Everything was fine up until I needed help finding an item and when I asked an employee who was stocking she just ignored me. I spoke up a little louder thinking she didn’t hear me but after about 4 excuse me’s I was over it and went to search for someone else. She had black and blonde hair. I will also be doing a survey on the store. They need to get some friendlier staff.

I like this store because of the hardworking, compassionate employees. Ive seen some rough people in this store, and everytime the staff handle everything professionally and dont lose their cool. Also people, please return your carts. I hate seeing them throughout the neighborhood, literally.

Going to DG is a lot like the old 5 and dime stores. You know what you want, but you dont know what you will find!

It was a very clean store. I went in for three things and all three things were sold out so that was kind of a bummer. The employees were super nice which was a pleasant change from other Dollar Generals Ive been to.

A little pricey but for just an item or two its not bad, instead of driving to a big chain store, kinda narrow isles and does get a bit busy at times.

They have alot of assortments there to chose from since the manager rocks at ordering inventory that the customers chose. So from arts and crafts, to snacks, to family needs there, etc. & it is suitable for my 3 yr old toddler and I to go shopping, as she has napped that day, but yes, its one of my go-to stores when Im pressed for time or need a quick ingredient Im missing in the cupboard for dinner, breakfast. Nice to know its a hop skip and jump down the street from home and nice employees too!

Has everything I need in one store

Suprisingly in many places. These stores have helped me across the country driving from state to state. They actually have them like all over the many non toll highways.I got cat food/ dog food for my animals.I baught food, and like pretty decent food actually. Microwavable meals, snacks, drinks, toilet paper, kitchen and bathroom products. Its all cheap prices of course, and pretty decent quality for what you get.I highly appreciate this company for what I needed.The people at this store on Alpine and Harrison, these associates are very nice and helpful.

Went in to buy a few things. Started being followed and was walked up to by an associate and asked to open my purse. I was utterly appalled. Could not believe I was treated like this. Will never go back!! I also found out she should have had the authorities there before searching. I have since gone to a different store, returned my items which I DID buy with my receipt and now have the district managers phone. For associates to stand around and watch and whisper is absolutely rude and inappropriate!! I truly hope no one ever has to experience this.

Would not honor price of 2 liters where they were stocked and manager got argumentative when told About it... Would not recommend

Found Sunday I was looking for at a good price. Employee very helpful.

The two associates that I asked help, both of them were very helpful, but Im sorry that I did not get their names it was around 3 320,the Caucasian gentleman man, the African American Queen very beautiful, helped me with some lil boys n Lil girls flip flops, n socks both employees were very helpful..

If I could give it 0 stars I could. I came in to return $9.00 worth of stuff that I paid cash for with a receipt. They were $3.00 packs of false nails that I told her I was returning ~ unused ~ because they werent the kind I thought they were. She continued to open every box and count every nail inside each package which actually ruined the package because she struggled to open them. I asked for my original receipt back because I had some other items on there that I needed for tax purposes but she said she had to keep it for the return. I said, Well I need it for my taxes.. Then she says she has to go make a copy of it. In the meantime a girl at another register was arguing about the price of something so instead of getting the receipt copied she went and walked around the store with the other customer trying to tell her she was wrong. I needed to buy some packaging tape but I inconvenienced myself and went to CVS so I wouldnt have to give them another dime.

Always long lines with only 1 cashier. Seem to leave the most non-experienced cashier inside while all the other employees are in front of the store smoking and chatting. I have experienced standing in line with 3 other people while the cashier was no where to be found. I go to CVS next door and pay more $ to avoid this place.

Had what I was looking for

So my mom bought a $4 mouthwash and came back to return it, not even 30 mins later because she found one for a better price. The manager got very rude and disrespectful because she did not know how to do a refund on a credit card!! She wanted my moms pin number from her debit card, and when my mom refused, she tore the receipt and told her she has to come back when her manager is there!! Like wow, really? Over a $4 refund you just lost a customer. Dollar general should not hire people as managers and dont train them properly. To the manager, Christy that was a horrible display of managerial skills and you should take a customer service class.And you couldve given her the $4 in cash if you didnt know how to do a credit refund.
