They also rent apartments but dont follow the rules of the fair housing act. When brought it to there attention they wouldnt even look at my cellphone where I had brought up the rules from humanesociety.org. I have officially filed a complaint with HUD for discrimination since they wouldnt even take my application..Edit from after owners response: I told you I had I had an ESA animal with a valid prescription and you asked are you on disability? I responded with I have a disability you said well are you ON disability I told you no and you said you dont rent to people with dogs unless it was a service animal. I was very clear I have an emotional support animal and there could have been documentation in the stack of papers I handed you that you wouldnt take because I have an ESA animal. As to my behavior you are belittling a recognized and protected medical condition. That made me upset but I never swore at anyone, called anyone any names, or screamed at anyone. When I told you I would be filing a complaint you told me to leave your office and only to contact you by email. I simply asked for that email and that was a reason for you to pick up the phone to call the police. Your business card was sitting on the wall and I noticed it had your email on it so I took one left and said have a nice day. You could have simply pointed to the business card instead of repeating i have asked you to leave 3 times. Its kinda funny you are worried about my germs when the guy who showed me the apartment wasnt ever wearing a mask even though I had mine on. ??????????

Ive recently had to rent a storage unit at A Place for Space. I went there because of the good reviews I read about this business and it was everything I hoped for and more! The units are clean and very accessible; the staff is super-friendly and helpful, making me feel like my business is important to them. I look forward to a long relationship with them. Highly recommended. Liz is the absolute best!!

I just giving 1 star because I had to I dont recommend this place I was renting a unit but last month I went to get my stuff my unit was empty I called and let them know and they just told me to make a police report when the police called them they told him that they let me know before that my unit didnt had a lock but that call was about a year ago they said but they also said that my stuff was there at the beginning of the month. Now they still sending me text messages and emails regarding a past due for the freaking unit these people dont have control of their business.

I looked into renting a unit here but had some major red flags with things. First off why would you charge different amounts for the same size units? I was quoted at $57 for a 5x10. Went in a few weeks later and was told it would be $60. Looked online at their website and they have 3 5x10 units all priced different. One at $55 one at $60 and another at $65. Why charge more for the exact same unit? I think it has to do with greed and the fact that if that unit sat for longer than others they charge more. On top of that while looking into the site to fill out for a unit they want your SSN. Not going to happen. There is no need to give you my SSN for a freaking storage unit. I asked my friend who as had several and she told me she has never needed her SSN to get a unit. I can see a copy of your drivers license maybe but there no way they need my SSN. So for the fact that they dont want to standardize the unit pricing and that they want your SSN when they dont need it, going to pass.

Dont rent here unless your looking to be belittled by the so called manager Meghan...came in on 12/4 to empty out my unit went in to the office to explain that I was leaving and asked was their a pro rated charge since i wont be using the unit the whole month was told no and that the lease stated that I had to give a 10 day notice when I was ready to leave..but that 10 day notice made no use since they still dont do pro rated charges at move out so as I was trying to get a understanding on why wasnt I made aware of this at the time of move in and after all the back n forth Meghan asked me if understood English and if I knew had to read at this point if I was upset before I was furious now for the simple fact that this women assumed and judge me of the base that Im Hispanic and that i didnt understand or read English if this business values themselves on prejudiced actions and not being able to their job by explaining a lease then I will most definitely not be referring anyone and will continue to file complaints till I reach someone higher since I was told there is no corporate number oh and as I was trying to speak to the other women Meghan came out the office and tried to escort me out the office and said she called the police all because of a policy that they should of explained at the time of move in and let me tell you this the officer totally agreed with me and told me to continue to file reviews so no one has to ever go through this again this place has no customer service they are beyond disrespectful and dont care about their customers all they care about is pocketing money of a policy that is never mentioned good luck to anyone who decides to rent here and only gave a star because it wouldnt let me give none

This is a nice, clean, secure storage lot. I went to meet someone with items to sell from his storage space. Very clean and well maintained. Easy to find and a great location close to other businesses and neighboring home communities.

Excellent business professional very friendly Personnel when theyre not busy. I have property stored in their units and I have for some time several years and Ive not yet been disappointed. Theyre very informative should anything happen with your unit or any changes be made with their operation theyre able to do things over the phone and online theyre an excellent resource to have when youre in a Pantene you need storage. The facility is in a great location with a kiosk that makes it easy to rent or pay my rent at any time. The security is very reassuring that my belongings are safe. The office staff are very knowledgeable and quick to answer my questions.

Yeah some pretty cheap stores because its in Rockford, they also want to take all of your money when you move out. They dont prorate out so I moved out on the 5th of the month and they wouldnt give me the money I had to pay for the whole month. They also will give you a lockout fee and then the next month if you dont pay they give you another lockout fee on top of the late payment fees. As if, they put locks on the storage each time. Its good for some reason this like the 24-hour access. You can also get an account just by like going to the kiosk.

This place has the best service I have ever recieved from any business I have come into contact with. Very friendly, very accommodating with nice secure units. Highly recommendable!

My experience with this company has been disappointing to say the least. As far as property management goes, they were fairly responsive but beware that they will nickel and dime you on your security deposit. They withheld a portion of my deposit and provided no proof of actual wear and tear. Ive asked about receiving interest on my deposit, they refused. I asked them to send proof and receipts of damage and they havent provided it so I advise any residents to be careful, document as much as you can and if youre really smart, avoid wasting time and money doing business with them.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I called after hours but they still answered the phone and took my questions. When I went in to rent a truck and purchase boxes they offered to load the boxes into my vehicle since I had my baby with me. It was very nice to not have to balance them on top of the stroller.

Lady that answered the phone was completely rude about a u-haul rental. When she finally got the maintenance man to agree to come back, she wanted to still fault me that u-haul sent me after hours. I told her it was their issue with u-haul not with me I just went where they sent me. To which she stated the maintence guy didnt have to come back. I hoghly reccomend going anywhere else than dealing with this lady.
