Good service Wonder full staff nd fast!
There is no such thing as Guaranteed Delivery Date. Mine changed twice and came even later than the second, revised Guaranteed Delivery Date.My U-Box arrived in Florida six days late and it took a lot of my time to get updates along the way. I tried calling several different numbers and using the live chat via my U-Haul account page. It was a challenge to find someone who could provide specific information about the location of my U-Box and its estimated arrival which made me more nervous every day it was late. I ended up receiving a credit of $50/day for each day the U-Box was delayedI was getting the runaround, told to call different numbers and didnt get call backs. When my U-Box finally arrived at this location, I called to schedule access and was told to come anytime that day after 12 noon. I arrived around 5pm and was told I had to schedule an appointment for the next day because my U-Box was way in the back. Apparently, the person I spoke to in the morning had not scheduled an appointment for me or notified anyone that I was coming in.When I came back the next day I was able to access my U-Box. This location is not very busy, which was nice for unloading and going through my stuff. The new General Manager Victoria Bruce was extremely helpful and empathetic to my situation. Although my issues were out of her control, she did her best to make the end of my experience as smooth as possible.
The lady who filled my propane was super nice! Cheapest propane in all of Florida. And I was even able to pay outside. Thanks A++
Fantastic service!! Andrew was the best. Kind, respectful, and he was working Alone. He did the best, without any additional help at the desk, on the end of the month. He was neck-deep with a line of customers and kept his composure. Excellent customer service.
UHauls service was very unsatisfactory. I made a reservation on line and it Uhaul changed it from 10am to 6pm. They deleted all of the records from my account so there is no proof of any reservations i have made. The dashboard it suppose to give you upcoming to past reservations. All are gone. I have had to change my travel plans costing me more money. When I called, my call got transferred to a call center where they said the reservation could not be changed back. When I went to return equipment I purchased, they said it car dolly is still available. No coordination or any effort to find out how this occurred.
I never bomb someone on a survey! But the lack of customer service is horrible. One employee walked by me twice at the propane filling station and never said hi, be right with you or maybe state he will get someone to come help me.
Needed a propane tank filled that was a larger tank, I think around 200lbs? Tractor supply was helpful but their fitting kept leaking so they couldn’t safely fill it. Stopped here at uhaul because no one else was open and they were able to fill it no problem! However, what really stood out to me was the professionalism of the younger guy that filled the tank. I’m guessing he was only around 20 years old as he looked pretty young but I give him a lot of credit! He clearly takes his job seriously, was knowledgeable about how to fill propane correctly and SAFELY, and followed all the proper safety measures in regards to verifying tank age/condition, that he could fill one of that size, etc. I’ve NEVER seen anyone actually go that far with being safe and being sure to follow all procedures and regulations as well as any policies of the individual location. Just wanted to give a shout-out for having someone who clearly has safety and following proper procedures as their main priorities! He said Uhaul was pretty rigorous about their training/certification for allowing someone to fill propane but still the professionalism truly amazed me, you don’t really find that anymore! He also gave me a discounted bulk pricing which was very close to Tractor Supply’s price once I mentioned they were cheaper but they weren’t able to fill it due to technical difficulties.
Continously tried to call to ask about certain stock of boxes, waited 20 minutes on the phone. Then, the call simply ended. Okay, tried again, after another 22:36 on hold, I simultaneously called the Babcock & US1 Uhaul location, they answered immediately and I was able to inquire about boxes. Ended that call. Still hold with this location at 25:49. I hung up. Please improve the performance of your stores employees and the methods of answering calls.
I’ve worked with U-haul facilities all over the country and this is by far the worst run and most poorly managed I have ever been too. After trying to get ahold of someone (a human being at this physical location) since Friday including several calls over the weekend when they claimed to be open and up until several calls this morning and afternoon today (Tuesday) to no avail, I was forced to reach out via several other channels to confirm my delivery. This was all to show up at the appointed time only to be told that this is not in fact where I need to be to drop off their U-Box! Imagine all the time spent on hold and time spent getting here! Adding to my frustration is that Greg is not a very personable or professional gentleman in the least. (I may add that Jim was awesome however.) Save yourself the headache, drive a couple of extra miles, and go to someplace that will go over and above to take care of you (like almost every other U-Haul location I have worked with do), and not a place that will skirt responsibility and be lacking all cordiality. If this is how they managed the delivery of one single U-Box, I can’t imagine how they would handle any of your other moving needs.
Andrew helped me out today when he didnt have to and they were very busy. This location is under new management hopefully for the best at the time of this review.
Ok. So I didn’t go to UHaul today expecting the kind of customer service I was given. I was so impressed by the staff that I left the parking lot and went to another parking lot just to write this. A gentleman by the name of David Allen helped me while I was there. I was there to rent a truck for my move this Saturday. I was greeted with a friendly hello and the process started. David was kind, courteous, and professional. I needed to buy a drop hitch for my truck and he pointed them out. I purchased the drop and the ball and then went to wash my hands real quick. When I returned he had assembled the ball onto the hitch and then offered to tighten it for me since I was all packed up and didn’t have access to my tools. Mind you, he didn’t know at the time that I didn’t have access to my tools. He offered because he is so willing to help and was genuinely providing amazing customer service. In a business environment overwhelmed by people that care more about what’s on their cell phone than the person standing in front of them it was so refreshing. It’s the little things that make a difference and David Allen at this location knows that obviously. If we had more people like him we would all be better off. Thank you David for your help today!
Stopped by to get a hitch installed. I was told that they were too busy and that I needed to make an appointment. They couldnt fit me in for over two weeks. A few days before the appointment, I had something come up that conflicted with it. I tried calling seven or eight times to reschedule, but no one ever picked up. I finally just changed the conflict so I could still make my U-Haul appointment. So I show up for my appointment and then have to wait almost 30 minutes. When I asked how long it would take to install the hitch, I was told that it was a busy day so they would not get to my vehicle until the afternoon. This is a little frustrating, seeing as I made an appointment and waited two weeks for it. So I leave my car there and spend $10 on an Uber to get a ride to work (for which I was late because of this appointment). I finally get a call from U-Haul in the afternoon - apparently the hitch wont fit my car. No alternative solutions were offered. I then spend another $10 on an Uber, take more time out of work, wait in line for another 20 minutes, and here I am with nothing to show for it.So look, I dont know what the answer is here. The staff were not rude or anything, they just seemed busy and frazzled. I dont blame them for what happened - I think U-Haul needs to overhaul their system or something. This was not a good process. At all.
Terrible customer service, take your business elsewhere
Completely rude and unprofessional staff. Got there with ample time before closing to rent a trailer and he was more concerned with getting his paperwork done to leave by closing rather than having a happy customer. Sorry Uhaul, terrible experience and I will take my business elsewhere.
Reserved a large moving truck, showed up on Sat. morning, truck was ready! They gave us a very good deal on the price, and did not try to push any extras on us. Truck ran good, cold air and no problems! Friendly service from everyone.
We had our furniture stored at U-Haul Moving and Storage of Cocoa in Rockledge, FL. When we picked up our furniture it was covered in cockroaches and mice poop. Mice chewed through our mattress covers and pooped inside. Cockroach scales all over everything. All furniture ruined. When my husband addressed it with a U-Haul worker he said that somebody brought food into the units and That was probably the cause. No apology no offer for the months we paid, NOTHING. Even though we paid extra for their insurance that they provided they denied our claim because they don’t cover cockroaches. Dalton the manager at the store told me that I could throw out the furniture as long is I took good photos of everything we owned. Dalton actually acted like he was going to help us and told me that he would give me his personal cell phone number but not to call just text so he can respond back. I sent him several text messages over a couple days and he only responded back one time saying he would get back with me and never did. Then I heard from the insurance company seven days later and they told me that I should not have thrown out the furniture and that was one of the reasons they denied our claim. I told the insurance company that Dalton the manager told me I could do it and she said well we are not U-Haul we are Rep West. I am completely floored by how I’ve been treated by U-Haul and by the insurance company. All I did was Store our furniture there for three months and I am being treated like I did something wrong. No veterans place, no thrift store, no goodwill, no donation center would take our furniture because they said it was a health hazard. We were even advised by two pest-control companies to dispose of the furniture because it was infested unless we wanted to bomb everything. We had over $20,000 of furniture that we had to throw into the dump. U-Haul will not reimburse us any money and their insurance company will not reimburse us. no one from will U-Haul return our phone call. Fortunately, The other half of our household goods were stored at a different location by a different company thank goodness. It was even an outdoor drive up unit non-climate control and did not have one cockroach or mouse dropping in them. WHO PROTECTS THE CONSUMER?????
Made appointment one week ago to have a brake controller installed on my Tahoe. Paid expedited shipping for part. Third time I have had to reschedule...only to learn oh we dont do that here we send people to camping world hopefully general manager is onsite to answer this complaint...and return my money for next day shipping!
We were in a pinch with our move, but they were super polite and fast with getting us our rental.
Unprofessional and slow! Uhaul sent me to this location but when I was waiting for nearly an hour, I googled closer to my home and called Midgard Viera. Within 5 minutes I got my truck! Do not go to the one off us1 near Cocoa.
Worst service ever! STAY AWAY. I wouldn’t tell my worst enemy to go there to do a transaction with them.
I wished that I did not use this place as often as I do but when Im here they are usually expedient or at least trying with great efforts. The staff is always friendly and they hustle.
I cant remember the last time I have had such a horrible customer service experience. I returned the truck to the center, and I was immediately accused of causing damage to the truck. There was a minuscule chip out of the paint of the truck. The representative insisted I had to pay for this and said the damage is not coming out of his paycheck. The damage was there before departing with the truck, and the U haul Representative was too occupied to complete the initial walk through of the vehicle. They are critically understaffed making careless mistakes with vehicle check ins and burden customers with excessive wait times. I am currently in the process of dealing with corporate to get this matter resolved. Please learn from my mistake and insist on a thorough walk through or better yet use Budget, Penske, or anyone else.
Friendly staff. Check paperwork and mileage carefully. Our truck rented in Palm Bay was misaligned off the lot. Cocoa took note of it. No overnight drop off at this location though.
A slapdash operation that is run by a general manager who either 1) lies or 2) just doesnt care. I used a UBox move, and the location in Cincinnati/rural Indiana executed their part of a deal in an outstanding fashion. But come to Cocoa, and things were way different. I started calling 48 hours before my UBoxes were scheduled to arrive to try and get a confirmation. I called twice and never received the promised return call. I called the morning of the supposed delivery and again didnt receive a call back. I kept calling. Finally I reach an employee and ask for the general manager. Im told he is listening to me on speakerphone, and I ask about my scheduled noon UBox delivery. I am told there is a truck on the way from Orlando will be there in a half-hour. I ask them to call me when the UBox is on its way, and ask for an ETA. I am told an hour-and-a-half. I wait for the promised call, which again does not come. Finally I call again and ask where my UBoxes are, and am told It doesnt look like it will happen today. They offer to let *me* call their shipping department to try and get UHaul to do what they are supposed to do. I get an answering machine.I called the main UHaul number, and after a big runaround with multiple calls and people hanging up on me, am given a supposed UBox manager who promises to call scheduling. Eventually the owner of the Cocoa location says he will try and make sure it is done. He personally delivers the boxes on a trailer, not the professional forklift delivery I was expecting, but it got there.I ask for the boxes to be removed as soon as possible, and again they are not doing what they are supposed to do. There they sit, an eyesore on my condo complex, as again they dont keep their promises.I ended up making at least 15 phone calls to do what the Cincinnati location did effortlessly and flawlessly with a couple of text messages and a couple of calls from them. This is a terrible UHaul location with a manager who lies.
Let me first start by saying the staff is nice. And there are alot of them.. but where they are abd what they are doing i am.not sure... i took my car in to get a hitch when i called and made the appintment they told.me an hour or hour and a half.. 4 hours later they were done.. not acceptable. I difnt droo my car off i waited... i brought my bike to ride aroubd while waiting with my kid.. but it took so long. They said they had to find extra parts and thats why it took and extra 2.5 hours.. dont get a hitch there unless you plan for an all day thing.. while i was in and out for the 4 hours i noticed people coming in and not being helped for long periods of time. They need to get it together...
There are people living on the 2nd floor. I have seen lights on at 1230 AM and heard a child crying. Not cool. Do something before I call the police.
Quoted me half the price of what the internet said i would pay. Let me pay cash, and i was in and out with the tow dolly already hitched up to my truck in under 10 minutes. Great service guys keep it up.
Before i get the uhaul i took a video of the entire body of the uhaul with thier worker. and when my friend returned it coz i was so busy that time...the one who checked the uhaul said it has a damaged in the cub of wheeling tire. so my friend called me and i rushed to the place despite my busy day coz they might charge me about that. so when i reviewed the video it was shown that damaged is already there before i got the uhaul...my advise is take a video before you get the rented car or uhaul for your security.
Nice trucks and good pricing. Just stay away from the accessories. Theyre expensive.
They treated me right in installing a replacement wiring kit when my original job done at another location had problems. Chris paid close attention to detail in the install - did a great job and went the extra mile to make for a clean installation.
Rude ghetto employee lost a customer with that nonsense spewing from its mouth. Wasted time and gas.
If I could give this location negative stars I would certainly do so. Awful experience. I rented a U-box from MO to have delivered to the Rockledge / Cocoa, FL location. At some point between the time I dropped the box off in MO until I picked it back up again in Rockledge (Cocoa), someone who had custody of that box changed out my lock. Fortunately, it does not appear that anything is missing....except of course the $118 I had to spend to get a locksmith to break open the lock so I could get into the box. I took all the proof of the purchase of the original lock, the specifications of the original lock, the photo of the new lock ON the box, the bill for the locksmith to the regional manager of the Rockledge U-Haul location. Her name is Mercedes. She agreed the locks were different. Even one of her staff members earlier had agreed the locks were in fact different and theyd been changed out. I requested reimbursement for the cost of the locksmith. She LAUGHED AT ME and stated there was no proof that U-haul owes me anything and shes not going to help in any way. Wow!!! I did purchase the insurance to cover the contents of the container, but the deductible for that is $100, and intent of that insurance was to cover major damage or loss. What happened to this lock while in U-Hauls custody was illegal (being done without permission from me and/or notification it was done). U-Haul Mercedes - you suck at your job. I will post as many reviews as I can on as many websites as possible in hopes that you learn that treating your clients / customers the way you treated me on 7/26/16 is unacceptable. Someone in the U-Haul chain (somewhere....) acted well below acceptable behavior, and not only did you NOT make it right, you reinforced the bad behavior by behaving badly yourself. We will never use U-Haul again since youve proven that the culture at your location starts with you and its disgusting. I have hundreds of friends on Facebook, all of which have seen my lengthy detail of the events, and requested they share it so that maybe, just maybe it gets around a bit. Lets just see how much that $118 locksmith bill and your disrespect really costs U-Haul.
If i could rate it a 0 i would. I just had the worst customer service ive personally witnessed in my life here.We had reserved a truck with the phone service to be picked up by 9am. We showed up running late, arriving just before 10. THey did not have the truck, and then proceeded to talk down to us about how the reservation was schedualed for 12, information we were unaware of as we had specifically requested the truck early. At that point becoming very late in the day, we had lost much of it trying to secure a truck, with the manager (Duane Tinker) becoming increasingly rude in demeaner.Fast forward to 130, i finally had my truck, most of the day and resources wasted. He did nothing to try to smooth over the transaction, and became visibly iratr at my wife and then proceeded to say she smelled like a drunk my almost speehless response was that was a rude acusation which did not seem to faze him.I dont particularly care abput what issues he may have going on in his personal life; but a bitter, smarmy attitude torward customers is never acceptable in a place of buisness.I will be speaking to his supervisors about this experience. It was completrly uncalled for, and unacceptable. No matter the circumstance.
We waited in line almost an hour, whuch was beyond rediculous, but the guy who finally helped seemed knowledgeable.
The manager talks too much but is a really knowlegable guy.
Customer service is horrible 20 mins to buy a trailer part better off going to mowlco for you trailer and hitch needs
I just called to ask and the lady was so rude to me i felt like i was wasting her time, what a total Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii............. seriously can i call corprate
Bought a truck from them, good truck and easy transaction.
45 minute wait to pick up, an hour wait to drop off and now blocked in because the parking lot is so backed up we cant get out. Find another local location this one sucks
Car haul trailer was not installed properly by Uhaul associate. While putting the car on the trailer, the trailer came off the hitch, lifted up, went forward & slammed into the tailgate of my SUV causing $1500 damage. They did an investigation by watching a video & denied ANY responsibility.
Good customer service, no problems with the truck
Super slow . Customer service is horrible . 2 people working with 7 customers in the store .
Under staffed, wait times exceed 30 minutes staff is nice thou
Easy in and out for moving supplies
Rented from them a few times and will always go back .
Good guys helpful !
Terrible customer service. Check your credit card after you return your rental. They charged me an extra day and refused to refund me. Wont be going here again.
Your moving supercenter
Was not told that they would pull money off of my card to use as deposit before hand
I was on hold for a day over the phone.
