Motor Works is the best! I stumbled upon them late 2020 and am so glad I found them for my Acura. For months a noise from the rear half of our 2014 Toyota Highlander would come and go. We brought it to our regular highly-rated mechanic, who has served us extremely well for years. He did two lengthy test drives but it was a day the noise had taken off. He could not hear it so, not surprisingly, he did not find anything despite looking under the car for 30 minutes.I decided to look for another highly-rated mechanic, perhaps in a larger shop with more sophisticated equipment. That search led me to Motor-Works. I dont know if they actually have more sophisticated equipment than most other mechanics. But what I do know is that they have more extraordinary people in every part of their business than most other mechanics. More than most other businesses to tell you the truth.Motor-Works staff are incredibly talented and they really love what they do. The interest they take in you and your car is just astonishing. They were determined to find the noise in the Highlander. But the noise seemed to have a mind of its own and would not cooperate. It went into hiding during my first visit. So even though Motor-Works spent a couple of hours thoroughly evaluating the car and searching for the source of the noise, no luck. But they pleaded with me to bring it back anytime the noise reappeared. So that is what I did. And finally, a mechanic heard it. He determined two parts of the cars frame were supposed to be 3 or 4 inches apart from each other had become so close they sometime rubbed against each other, creating the mysterious noise.The determination of the Motor-Works staff was tremendous and way beyond what Ive experienced with most others in the 30+ years I have owned cars. And though both our regular mechanic and the Motor-Works staff spent hours trying to find and stop the noise, neither one of them charged us for their work. We are going to find our way to give them both our business going forward. I am convinced if you have Motor-Works service your car, youll never want to take it anywhere else too.

Ive been using Motor Works for at least 30 years, and they have been a first-rate organization that I would recommend unconditionally. Their customer service is excellent and they consistently go above and beyond. Their technicians are very good at diagnosing problems quickly and accurately. Ive never felt that I was overcharged or pushed to get work done that wasnt required. Also, Ive never had to bring back a vehicle a second time for work that was performed. They provide excellent service, keep track of your records, and will not try to sell you service you do not need. We’ve used them for the last 25 years and never had a reason to go back to correct something. When my tires got cupped the tire shop said I needed four new shocks. Motorworks found the car was just out of alignment and saved me $1,200 dollars. They also alerted me to a cooling system defect and extended warranty for my sister’s Civic that saved her an expensive repair and they don’t even service her car! Motorworks costs the same as a dealer shop but are far superior in workmanship, honesty, and in going the extra mile!!

Very friendly staff. Provides a ride home or loaner. They sent me a $25.00 birthday coupon. They also give out water bottles and reusable bags. I believe they are honest with their work and prices.

Motor Works charged my current (no pun intended) battery, gave me an oil change, and checked some other minor items (e.g., wiper blades) and the charge was 1/2 what it would have cost me for a new battery from AAA. Called about getting my key fob checked and some new wiper blades and they said just drop by. Which I did. Service was prompt, friendly and reasonably priced. And I also learned how to get to the battery in the key fob, which is in a case within the outer case and I was reluctant to open the inner case.

My Civic has been running beautifully under their care for 18 years. The CoviD-19 era service of picking up my car at my home is a major convenience and more importantly a relief of health concerns.

Motorworks is an honest garage that only performs the work required AND has extremely talented and knowledgeable mechanics.They arent the least expensive, but are also not the most expensive. After checking three other garages for the same work I had them perform recently, I found motorworks to be within $75 of the least expensive garage. Since I found them to be very honest about the mechanical condition of my car, I view the money spent as an investment toward a professional relationship that I feel comfortable trusting over time.I have already shared my positive experience with some family members. I simply could not be any more pleased with my choice to patronize their business.I will likely select my future automobiles based on the makes of vehicles they service. I cannot imagine going anywhere else. Highly recommend.

4 stars for repairs/friendliness, minus one for bad cleaning.MotorWorks staff was very polite and friendly. They did a great job of repairing my broken window (It has been smashed in). However, when I received my car I didn’t really inspect it that closely, but when driving home I noticed there was still a big piece of glass in the cup holder. If they missed this big piece I figured I should look a little harder, and found a few shards on the back carpet. I went to vacuum what I thought were maybe like 4 small shards from the back carpet, but when I lifted the carpet and looked under my driver seat it was practically untouched with a ton of glass under there. Clearly the car wasn’t cleaned very well after repairs. I feel like the dealership does a better job of cleaning the cars and even washes the outside (which also wasn’t done here).

In the past 20 years I have used Motor Works for all my Hondas. I could never by a car unless Motor Works would service them. They are careful, supportive, and always solve whatever problems arise. In addition, they are delightful people and fun to deal with.

I have been using Motor Works exclusively to service my cars since 1985! They have always provided fantastic customer service, and are extremely trustworthy. They will repair/fix whats needed, and will put a watch on something that can last longer before replacement. They have maintained all my cars (on my 3rd one now) and theyve all operated great and reliably. My first car made it to 200+K miles before a major accident took it out of commission. The second made it to over 315K before I donated it to Purple Heart (and got $500 tax credit!) and my 3rd car is over 200K and going strong. That shows reliable service! I can count on them to do the job right at a great value.One example of superior customer service: Late on a Thursday after Id gotten out of work in DC the car unexpectedly lost power as I accelerated on 495. I called Motor Works from the shoulder. Someone answered and arranged to give me a loaner car when I dropped my car off at Motor Works that evening. I had the loaner for the weekend and to drive to work Monday. By Monday evening my car was fixed and I picked it up after work. Where else would you get that kind of service - nowhere but Motor Works!They also treat me and my wife like family. We actually look forward to bringing my car in for scheduled servicing!When you find the best you stick with them. Thats what Ive done with Motor Works.
