When you call into the national customer service line, they are very friendly and try to be helpful. Management at this store otherwise leaves a bit to be desired. I ordered a dishwasher part 6 months ago with an expected 1-month turn around. After 2-3 delays the part finally came in sometime around January. I go to the store for pickup… but they had given the part I ordered to someone else (allegedly). I was promised a quick resolution but 4 more months later they still dont have the part and my latest expected delivery date was just pushed back again for the umpteenth time. It’s a good thing that I ordered the part through a different company a month ago and it came, ALL THE WAY FROM CHINA, in less than 3 weeks. Never wasting my time on this company again.
People theyre so kind.
Not very helpful to also did not have the items needed in stock
Very helpful people found what I was looking for and had me out the door in minutes
One of my favorite places for Pieces I need. My favorite Part of Going there, is The Counterworkers, Especially Sean. I recommend him for your help, because he is always willing to satisfy your needs. He will always Try and get you all that you need, and is always happy to help. Sean will even look everywhere until he finds what you need. Aside from Sean, Grainger also has just about every part to a thing you need for a project, and finishers. Highly recommend this place, and try to get Sean to help you on the counter.
Very fast & reliable service
The best place ever. Order online and pickup in store or get fast shipping. I ordered 80 hand warmers and 3 sets of carhartt snow overalls (75 dollars on clearance from 380 something, awesome!) on Wednesday before the blizzard of 2016. I picked it up Friday...best place ever!!
Sean Woods, Harvey, Dan and Carl are great and very knowledgeable. Can get almost anything next day. I would avoid this store for anyone that has Achondroplasiaphobia for reasons that are obvious if you visit.
Good customer service, I always find what I need !!!
People are great at counter. problem is the people running the whole graingers operation. they are trying to make it like an apple store or something. used to be i could get 9 out of ten items at one time, now i am lucky if i get 2 out of ten. not the floor peoples fault if they could really run it the way it should be, it would be awesome. but like all big companies, you have a moron that never been in counter sales, running the show.
Good place to try to get hard-to-find specialty nuts and bolts items that big box store do not carry.
The only reason I cant give a 5 is Graingers pricing and stock availability.BUT, if you need to stop in Rockvilles Grainger, ask for Sean. I have recently made several trips for various parts and he was amazing. I was stuck in rainy day rush hour traffic and called ahead to ask if they could squeeze me in about 5 minutes past their closing and Sean was not only willing to stay later for me, he had a great attitude about it.I was in need of a rotating switch but lacked a part number since it was hard to track down the manufacturer. Unfortunately they did not have the part I needed in stock but he went above and beyond when he went in the back and checked a motor that would have been thrown out and salvaged the part I had been searching for!I highly recommend Sean to anyone going into Grainger. He has a great attitude and willingness to help you with what you need. And if they dont have or stock what you need he tries his best to send you in the right direction.
Very nice and helpful staff 💯
