The first time I went in to repair my device (an iPhone 7+), I spent $114.29 for a new screen and tempered glass to protect the screen from damage. The man behind the counter (I’m not sure of his name) said that I would have a **LIFETIME** warranty for everything my screen endures, excluding water damage. The repair was an hour long and he didn’t call us. I had to go for building and pick it up. I wasn’t upset about it, honestly. I was glad my phone was repaired and I could move on. Not *EVEN* three days later, my phone was **stepped on** by another student in the building I attend school at. The LCD screen had taken a bit of damage, so I brought my phone in on a Friday to have it repaired but this time, there was a woman behind the counter. I explained what had happened and what kind of repair would be needed and she said the warranty didn’t cover water damage. I told her it wasn’t water damage and she proceeded to give me the price to fix the screen. I ended up just walking out because I didn’t have enough money to pay for the new LCD screen. It’s quite upsetting to be guaranteed one thing but told something different by another person.

Went in for some help on my laptop. I had taken it apart and accidentally disconnected the wifi antenna. I asked some questions and the guy was clearly annoyed and snapped at me in front of another customer. He told me theyd have to replace the whole antenna and that didnt sound right. Went to the computer repair shop Plaza Technologies Inc on 8th street and the guy had it fixed in 5 min for FREE!

I am so happy with the work on my husbands phone. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes, so much better than The Phone guys who were going to charge me $301 and my husband would be without a phone for 2 days so they can replace a screen and Digital Java was only $190 and I got it back that day!! When you walk out the door there is a box that has prayer request papers for you to write yours down. I wont go anywhere else!

Absolutely disappointing in almost every way. Brought my laptop in for virus cleaning. They said it would take up to 5 business days which seemed like a long time based on my past experiences, but I decided to go with them since I just moved here and didnt know where else to go. Long story short, and I mean *long* story, I started calling to track down my laptop on day 6, with no less than 5 phone conversations over 14 days.Over this time, the owner, Chris, was extremely rude, dismissive, couldnt find the technician, then finally told me that they decided I needed a full system recovery and wiped my computer before asking me, changed the quoted price, and when I asked why it was taking so long, on day 10, he told me if I didnt like it, my laptop was ready for pick up right now. Then they didnt even restore all of my information as they said they would since they told me all of my data was safe and recoverable. The only saving grace of this company is Lance, who was very helpful and finally got the laptop back to me, although I had to bring it back to him yet again a few days later, to get the rest of my data put back on, after realizing MOST of it was missing, which he mistakenly didnt replace after the system wipe. This again, took another day and two more trips to the shop.Almost a month later, we called to be sure they werent retaining my data and asked about their policy for keeping clients personal data. We were told that they would like to keep it 6 months, but that my data was already erased because they had done a lot of other recoveries lately. So it is unclear what their policy actually is.I cant speak about the quality of service I received since it was ultimately just a system reboot, but every other angle of my experience here was poor, so I will definitely AVOID this place in the future.

Horrible experience. Took my laptop in due to Microsoft OS trouble. Paid $70+ for a diagnostic. They never called me back. I stopped in ~1 month later and they said they had it apart, but could not give me the computer. Refused to return it to me. Said they would call. Never did. Since I hate Microsoft Im temped to leave it there. This is a horrible company that still is in possession of my computer.

Customer service is great. I have taken a couple cell phones in for repair and had great results. They were able to repair a screen on one phone for much less than others were trying to charge. I am writing this for my friend that was taken advantage of here. He does not have a log in so I am helping him out.Long story short the company charged him a Diag Fee of $50. They kept his phone for over a 3 month period then they told him they cant fix it. Here is your phone back and they will refund him all but the $50 diag fee. Be careful what you sign there. He asked for the $50 dollars back and the owner told him no you signed all the papers. They also told him they could not get him his money back and come back next week. He went in next week and they said they could now refund him the money since they paid the rent. Really BAD Business. Be careful leaving your items there because if they are truly struggling to pay rent they not be there long.

Went to Digital Java years ago-service was good. Then my new custom (Christmas) computer and peripherals suffered a near direct lightning strike recently (overwhelming my Fellowes surge protector-which Fellowes wont stand behind) so I went back. New management now-even more helpful than before. Digital Java tested the computer and peripherals and confirmed my Ryzen 7 2nd gen/RTX2070 were fried. Well Digital Java feeling my pain gave me a letter for my insurance company free of charge so as not to add insult to injury. Very kind and helpful.

The battery in my iPhone 6 had been dying very quickly and sporadically for the past couple days so I took it to my carrier, Sprint, to get it looked at and hopefully replaced with the warranty that we pay for. Sprint took a look at it and noticed that my phone had somehow been bent, claimed the battery was damaged because of this, and concluded that this was physical damage that voided my warranty. After spending the rest of the day trying to cost effectively fix my phone to no avail, I stumbled upon Digital Java. I described my problem to Chris, who confidently said that he could have the battery replaced and the phone bent back to normal immediately for less than $50. This was exactly what I needed to hear, and 15 minutes later, the phone was fixed and ready to go with an upgraded battery. Everyone on staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful with my dilemma. The battery is already working 100% better and they gave me a six month warranty to boot. Im very satisfied and am already recommending the place to my friends.

The employees were nice enough, but their return/refund policy is garbage. I asked about it before buying a part for my phone and two different employees told me that if they couldnt fix it Id be refunded. Well, in my case they couldnt fix it or determine the problem, so when I asked for a refund, I expected Id get my money back instead, I was told Id have to drive to a whole different location and ask a specific person if I could get less than half what I paid back.Im very displeased that I was basically lied to.

I received the most abysmal service possible. I had a cellular air card with a broken USB connector. I was referred to Digital Java by the Verizon store across the street. I discussed with the Digital Java technician that the unit was mission critical for my business, and he agreed to have the unit finished November 10. It is now November 26 and they have missed 3 agreed deadlines. I picked the unit up to take it to a competent repair shop. They refused to refund my money. I have visited the Verizon store and recommended that they do not refer any more business to Digital Java.Thankfully my credit card eventually reversed the charge for me.

Absolute worst company Ive ever dealt with, hands down.Took a tablet to them with a cracked screen to get repaired. They had us pay upfront which is a huge red flag I should have recognized.Weeks go by; we hear nothing. We call them for an update and they tell the part should be in within the next couple of days.Another couple of weeks go by; we hear nothing. We again call them for an update and they give us some story about the parts coming from China and they have no way of tracking it. Let me get this straight...you send your money to some company in China to order parts for your customers and you dont know where it is nor do you have any way of finding where it is??? For all you know, you could have just ordered parts from a Nigerian Prince!More weeks go by; we hear nothing. We call once more and they tell us that they are ordering the parts from Missouri....one state away....and the parts will be in within a couple of days.More weeks go by; we hear nothing. AGAIN, we call and ask for an udpate. parts have not arrived due to bad weather. Were still waiting for parts from China. Wait, what?! I thought you ordered parts from Missouri???So this goes on and on and on. All the while, we are asking for Digital Java to at least call us with updates once a week, or if there is a problem with the parts, or SOMETHING! At one point, we almost forgot we even took the tablet to them for repair!Almost every time we asked for an update or asked for a tracking number or voiced our displeasure with not receiving any information on this months long process, the manager, Chris became very rude. Finally, after months of waiting and excuses from Digital Java, we asked for the tablet back. They said they would give it back minus a 40 something dollar diagnostics fee...DIAGNOSE WHAT??? The screen was cracked! That was all that was wrong with it! A 4 year old could pick it up and make a diagnosis in 3 seconds! Their excuse was that they had to take it apart and put it back together. Now, let me ask you, why would you have to take a tablet apart when you didnt even have the parts to fix it to begin with? Furthermore, you didnt even know where the parts were?!?At this point, it was more about principal than about money. $40 something dollars isnt that big of a deal to us as much as it appeared to be to Digital Java (they asked us not to cash the remainder of our refund check until the following week). So we took the laptop back, my wife googled how to fix it, ordered the parts for 1/4 of the price Digital Java was asking and fixed it herself in about 2 weeks, parts shipping time included. To sum it all up, stay away from Digital Java! Read their Better Business Bureau reviews, Google reviews, Yelp reviews, and their Facebook reviews and youll see the same type of behavior as Ive posted above. They have an F rating on Better Business Bureau and where we intend to share our experience as well. Bottom line, save yourself the trouble and Google how to fix it yourself or take your device somewhere else.

Digital Java damaged my iPad mini while they were replacing the screen and refused to repair the damage THEY acknowledged that they made. Bad customer service. Bad repair. Lack of integrity.I dropped off my iPad mini to have the screen replaced. I paid in full up front. Other than the crack on the screen, the iPad was in flawless condition because it has been kept in a case from the day it was brought home. When i picked up the iPad, the screen was repaired, but the bezel had new scratches all over it. It looked terrible. I expressed my concerns about the scratches and was told this is what happens to all devices that have screen replacement there. I was never warned that this was the case prior to the repair, or I would have gone somewhere else. The employee who removed the screen fully admitted to scratching it up to me and the owner. I asked them if they could just fix the scratches they made. The owner, Chris, said that although he was capable of repairing it, he would not. He said that they repaired the screen, and he doesnt have to fix the scratches they made. When he spoke to my husband later, he basically told him that they could have spent more time repairing it and it wouldnt have been scratched up, but that would cost the business money and they were busy. He did not offer any compensation at all and no apology. If any of this sounds messed up, its because it is. So I am stuck with an abused looking iPad mini.I can see why they need to charge for service up front...

Update as of 8/5/2015 - Chris has been in touch with me and is very understanding of the situation. I can say that he has calmed the situation, been very professional and acknowledged the screen defects. He is doing everything he can in getting my screen replaced for me. He stated there is a manufacturer defect with many Nokia screens, including the 1520 model, that causes the bow. I will continue to update as this progresses and will update my rating after my phone is repaired.I called Digital Java about my Nokia Lumia 1520 having a cracked screen. Chris was who I spoke with and went ahead and ordered me a new OEM screen/digitizer assembly for $191.63. He was pleasant to speak with on the phone and they had the screen the next day. I took my phone in the next day to get repaired around 10 A.M. and it was completed around 3 P.M. When I picked up my phone, I immediately noticed the screen was actually bowing off the phone itself ~.060 or 1/16 (I measured with digital calipers at home). I questioned Chris about this who responded by saying that all repairs they do on these phones have the same issue. I was extremely concerned about this but no effort in any way was made to resolve the issue. I was told there was a 6 month warranty on the repair, nothing more. Needless to say I was hesitant at best to sign the paper to pick up the phone. Now today, July 29 2015, I place my phone screen side down on my desk at work. I didnt drop it, I didnt smash it, I placed it screen side down. I take a look at my phone as someone texted me a few minutes later and there is a complete crack sideways across the screen along the high part of the bow. I have had a few shallow, insignificant scratches on the screen in this time frame as well, all cosmetic. This is not something that happens with OEM gorilla glass. And per my conversation with Microsoft regarding Nokia phone repairs and Palco, the third party recommended by Microsoft on their website, OEM replacement screens DO NOT BOW. This is only found on third party manufactured screens. So I call Digital Java and explain my situation. I believe I spoke with carl, although Im not sure considering he wouldnt repeat his name. I was immediately told this is not covered by warranty, even though the invoice and their website make no mention of this warranty except for a disclaimer requiring a $25 fee for all warranty repairs on the invoice itself. I explained that Chris told me that all Nokia phone repairs have this bow in the screen, and was told by (Carl?) that is not something Chris would say and This sounds really fishy. I was made out to be a complete liar and yelled at over the phone. I was sold an OEM replacement screen/digitizer assembly for $193.63 with repair. What was delivered was a non-OEM replacement part that cracked within 30 days of being installed. This repair was botched from the beginning, as has been denied any sort of replacement or warranty repair by Digital Java. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone, and will ensure that my experience is known to anyone who needs a phone repair. I have filed a formal complaint with the Arkansas Consumer Protection Division so at least this disgrace of customer service is on record.
